First of all Asa is probably the greatest Nigerian artist ever. Lyrically unmatched. I went to same school with Asa, same set. It’s rather hurtful the way she perceives her mates. She was a loner as she clearly stated . She was strong willed and even boys wouldn’t dare mess with her. We were about 360 in our set and her experience with a few people should not be reason enough to generalize the whole set. FGC Jos was a bitter sweet experience. Had the best times of my life there and made my life long friends there . We all looked forward to Saturday social nights to watch her dance and damn she was good. Whatever she experienced there I hope she gets to overcome. Maybe she got bullied by our seniors but no one in our set did. In fact you dare not try it cos she could hold her own
This is probably the best “The juice” interview I’ve watched. Its Asa’s honesty for me and It’s so obvious Bolanle loved interviewing her, the questions flowed easily and we got to hear things we’ve never heard Asa talk about in previous interviews! I Stan❤️
I knew there was a reason I connected so much to Asa and her music. Being an awkward artistic teenage Nigerian girl is one of the hardest things to experience. Keep shining Asa!
@@adebukolaestherariyo2386 she just said she prefers taller people. That is hate. Even self hate because she is short as well. What does someone's height have to do with being cool?
@@anodaone6525 How so? She didn’t say that she dislikes short people. She said she would like a tall man but will not be against marrying a short man. Lovely interview. Asa is mesmerising, Bolanle is a lovely host and I want to give a big shoutout to the production team that worked behind the scenes to make this come to life
Bolanle is a such a good interviewer. She brought out the side of Asa a lot of us didn't know, although this could be the original ASA, but Bolanle made this interview stand out. Kudos to you, Bolanle. I'm really learning from this. 😍
Bolanle sure knows how to make people talk about their personal lives without really asking them. She did with Simi, Niniola and now Asa. This interview like Bolanle said is also my favorite,Asa is so graceful
I love Asa's style. I can understand where she is coming from as I am similar to her. She intrigues me and she is extremely talented. Bolanle interview is very professional and conducted the interview so well. I am sure she enjoyed it as much as I did. Well done to Bolanle. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Every time I watch an interview here with Bolanle, I keep saying this is my favourite but I think its just Bolanle.... You are an amazing Interviewer, thank you for constantly delivering above expectation and subtly getting our faves comfortable enough to open up about themselves. Thank you ASA for inviting us into your private life. I hope your legacy gets fulfilled and you find love as well.
I looooovvvveeeed this interview. Asa is a fave and she opened up like I have never seen before; so raw, honest and truly insightful. Bolanle leave, you sabi the work! You’re our leader👏🏾

Lovely interview! Asa Is so similar in many ways to my best friend who is also a singer. The personalities are so similar. Anyway, I love everything about the interview! Asa's accent is so cool, and Asa is so honest. I love honest people! 😍😍
When you’re artistic as a Nigerian, it probably won’t be easy. Worse if you’re shy too. Terrible combo. I love her personality. I do like the interviewer, I believe she was in Isoken. She’s professional and allows the guest to speak.
I was just listening to some Asa music on Thanksgiving day. Nice weather in Cali, chilling outside while the food was getting ready. And I said, I haven’t seen any new stuff from Asa. At the same time, I’m not in a rush because timeless music takes time. Bolanle, I have to say your interviewing skills is superb, you are a gem. You ask interesting personal questions, not generic and we get to know who the person is and what makes them who they are. And Asa, geez you are a queen. And all I’m gonna say is, continue to stay true to yourself.
I love you so much, Asa. You are my favourite artist ever. Your voice is so soothing 😍😍😍. I'm used to hearing you sing in Yoruba but omo, speaking in Yoruba is sexier. 😍😍😍 I think your personality is well represented in your music. I hope to meet you someday. And oh! I love Torn and You & Me and all your other songs. 😊 Thank you for Blessing us with your music.
Thank you Ndanitv. Bolanle keeps inspiring me so much especially your skills in questions and not following scripting! Its mindblowing. Asa is super real and authentic! Great conversation.. Shoutout to the production team😊😊😊

A lot needs to b said about bullying in Nigerian high schools. I’m glad she mentioned it and dealing with it her own way
