@@CharminUltra Ok that's cool, you'll probably have to wait a couple months though lol. It's pretty good too. Btw gonna start streaming Kingdom Hearts 3 on Twitch! :)
Im mostly a tekken player and been trying to get into Unist. I been trying out Phonon but what im really hating with the character is after you do 4B in combos and immediately hold up and at the same time start to charge j.C the game will register the jump but not the charge. You are allowed to immediately buffer in the jump so Phonon will jump after 4B is done but the charge will not come out. Its so annoying because if you jump too early you dont have enough time to charge C since the game wont let you buffer in both. I figured out that you have to delay your jump so you can charge j.C but the opponent usually techs out. If you have any tips on how to do this easier please let me know as i see that doing IC j.C into IC j.2B is used in alot of combos.
I've found easier routes since this video. Typically I just do BB > 4B > jc > j.B > (IC) j.2B. The increase j.C doesnt add barely any damage and reduces the hitstun window later in the combos. You should find this route MUCH easier
Please correct me if I'm wrong but a lot of these don't seem super practical simply because most mixups open up with with 2A>2A. Most of these combos whiff if you hit confirm with Double 2A. It's difficult to land a random standing a in a match unless it's specifically whiff punishing an unsafe move or something. I've tried variations of alot of these combos in how to get the initial hit into landing the full version and it seems very specific on distance and how many hits you start the initial combo with. Do you happen to have a more practical Universal BnB guide?
Unfortunately that's UNIST. A 2A x2 opener will have a different combo than a 2A x3 opener. Anytime you block a DP and want to do a full punish with a 5C opener it's a slightly different string. I've landed a lot of these in real matches so from a practicality point of view its fine. Phonon's long range makes her great for whiff punishing and pressing from range. I actually dont use her A buttons much unless I'm in a block string and trying to keep pressure but thats just me :). UNIST combo paths can be very different so what I wanted to show in the video is the variety of paths you have some cool some practical and the damage you can get :).
@@CharminUltra I get where you're coming from. I do agree that many variations of these combos are solid and practical. Most of what I was thinking about stems from the initial hit. Most hits from phonon to me seem to generally stem from 4B, 2A, Aerial B/C. So I tend to try to gravitate toward combos that tend to start off with these buttons simply because in real matches most people are opened up with these common buttons. Mostly from a combination of whiff punishing and leaving gaps in blockstrings.
See I mostly open people up with 5B, 2C, 3C, j.B and Dash B. Im no pro by any means but you can check the gameplay vids I've uploaded recently if you wanna see how I play her personally. I have a pretty standard combo route I use because...online lol I guess I use 5A on unsafe moves for quick punish too O_o, and sometimes 2A works although I'm always shocked
Hey no problem. The numbers are directional inputs and the letters are the game's attack buttons as shown in the tutorial and missions. The numbers are based on a keyboard's numpad where 5 is neutral. 8 is up, 4 is back, 2 is down etc. They are always based on player 1 side. Also things like 236 are quarter circle forward.
@@CharminUltra alright thanks man i appreciate it. i love this game but i suck at it atm so i'm just trying to get all the knowledge i can so i can at least understand how everything works

Type Lumina auto combo go brrrrrr
Im unsure if these combos are similar in uniclr? Is unist and uniclr the same??
I think Uniclr made some changes, haven't re-tried these
What do the numbers before the letters mean, like 26B, im a pc player
Will you be creating more combo videos for unist?

What does the "I" Notation stand for?
IC is increase
This game looks a tad too hard for me😂 I'd give myself arthritis trying to do a simple combo
You get it over time but the combos are very tight
@@CharminUltra I bought the PC version! Did I do good? :D
cant be as bad as king of fighters tho
Hey I use this gameplay footage in my video thanks 👍🏽
Are you asking if you can use footage from this video in a video you want to make?

Why is she top tier?
No idea LOL. I've seen her at the top of some tier lists. My guess is range + zoning can make her difficult when played right.
Also her combo damage is pretty high
tier lists in this game don't matter too much since it's very well balanced, the differences between a top tier and a bottom tier aren't really big
Aside from people telling enkidu is in a low teir all to himself
j. Force Function? is that a thing? that's what it looks like with this lazy notation.
