Would be neat if TES6 would be all about rediscovering the sword-singing. For pure poetry I would make a Redguard in Skyrim and a Nord in Hammerfell. Redguard: Damn I just wanted to rediscover the great legacy of the Sword-Singers, but all I got was this shouting power. Nord: Damn, all I wanted was to gain the mythic power of the Dragonborn and Thu'um, but all I got was this shiny spirit blade.
Nazeem does not have a curved sword but his wife and I get to the cloud district often while he stuffs himself on the Jarl's backside. Oh it took him years to get there. It's wabbajack time now.
Theory: The Heart of Lorkhan is literally the heart of a god, so what if the Eye of Magnus is something similar? We know all the aedra contributed a large amount of their power to the creation of Mundus, but we don't know exactly what that means. What if the aedra (in particular the aedric gods) contributed parts of their physical bodies to Shezzar's mortal world, and that's why the aedra lost so much power. If that holds true, how many other god parts would be out there, where could they be, have they been used before, and what might they be? Additionally, if more parts exist and were found, could they be combined into a new god? Might be a fun thought experiment
Belegar Ironhammer I can see Magnus fleeing the mortal realm along with his children after his eye popped out. *in the dawn era* /pop/ Nope. Nope. Nope. We are done here, you Aedra do what you want. Me and my kids are going home to Aetherius. Meridia, what are you doing? Come on. Daddy says we’re going. Now where’s the door? /punches a hole in the sky/
Now I’m thinking it would be pretty fun to do a role-play build based around a Redguard working towards enlightenment through this study of blade-singing. You could level up one and two-handed, light armor, smithing, maybe alchemy, along with alteration and restoration; maybe even illusion, too, now that I think about it. Then somewhere along the way he/she discovers their dragon soul and their power of the voice, and begins weaving the two warrior’s ways to form a new amalgamation of martial artist/spiritual warrior. Some kind of homage or commentary on the pen being mightier-thing somewhere in there. You could be kinda cheeky too, like name him Mace Windu and only the Dreamer would get the joke.
It's most likely down to four main reasons, though I don't know how, I'm guessing by what's in the lore. Firatly, the Empire left several of it's soldiers behind in Hammerfell with their equipment. Whilst Hammerfall is technically independent of the Empire. It's definitely still apart of the Empire, much like the "ban" on Talos worship, it's only technically true. The Empire definitely sent help to Hammerfell, if only to screw with the Thalmor. Secondly, the climate of Hammerfell makes it much easier to defend, think Afghanistan. If they used hit-and-run tactics, they could've done some serious dammage to them. Thirdly, Hammerfell united together, it wasn't just another war, it was a battle of survival. So they got a morale boost, meaning their troops could endure more for victory. Finaly, the Great War left the Thalmor extremely weakened, killing off many of their best soldiers. Which means the Thalmor couldn't play the long game, as their manpower was gone. So, in summary, the Empire aiding them, the climate being their ally, their unity, and Thalmor weakness. Those four key elements are the reason the Redguards won in the end.
@@thomasjackson6142 5: The Thalmor have never been to the Cloud District. They sent Nazeem so Hammerfell could one-up their haughty asses and it broke their morale. He's remained there ever since just to spite the Dominion. At least, that's what I tell myself to tolerate his shit.

Barus, hands down, is my favorite Redguard. He keeps an open perception about your character no matter what they've done, but I have never seen him survive the Battle of Bruma during any of my Oblivion play throughs.
I played through oblivion when it first came out and he survived the battle of bruma. He was with us right up until the end when we entered that temple in the imperial city. After the final boss was defeated I couldn't find Baurus any more. I searched through all the bodies after that final battle and later travelled to anywhere I thought he might be hanging out afterwards. He just vanished. I like to think he survived and just rode off into the sunset. I was playing on console at the time so I couldn't use any console commands to confirm whether he was still alive or not.
I just noticed how many similarities there are between the early nords and early redguards Both are a warrior people of proud tradition, both came to tamriel from a land stricken by civil war, both came in a small group lead by a legendary individual and that individual's son, both individuals then became beacons of martial strength and spiritual guidance, and both individuals were warriors and intellectuals with frandar being a philosopher of the way of the sword and ysgramor being a historian, and both redguards and nords wield a mighty power of the music of the universe

I honestly REALLY wish Elder Scrolls Online would release their next year long expansion in Hammerfell somewhere...because, 1. we need more Redguard lore and cities, 2. We need more desert, craggy, sandy cities and coastal zones (my favorites are ones like Southern Elsweyr, Summerset, etc with tons of water and oceanic themes), and 3. If we all really think TES 6 is going to be based at least in part in Hammerfell, then maybe they would wait til they announce TES 6 and then give us more Hammerfell in ESO? It will have to happen at some point of course
Pitch Battle: 1. Regarda 2. Imperial 3. Nord 4. Orc Siege: 1. Imperial 2. Regarda 3. Nord 4. Orc Naval: 1. Regarda 2. Nord 3. Imperial 4. Orc Invasion: 1. Imperial 2. Orc 3. Regarda 4. Nord This is of course comparing the Imperial Legion at full strength, Swordswingers and the Regarda warriors at full strength, all orc chieftains banding together at full strength and legendary Nord hero’s and armies. Of course, in reality, the Nords would have dragon borns and legends of the thu’um on its side, and you don’t need siege engines, armies or ships to compete with multiple demi-gods, let alone the prospect of global invasion.

Red Guards are like the Saiyans of The Elder Scrolls.
They got their own game even........You can tell the devs have a favorable affinity towards them.
Frandar Hunding = Miyamoto Musashi in Tamriel
Once again, a nice addition to this series. However, I think it would be nice if you have added more graphics (names, dates, etc) instead of just having the usual pan-shots the whole time.
I suppose that would be pretty cool. Though, this poses an entirely new consideration: how many people actually watch the video as oppose to just listen. I know for me, at least, I never, ever am actually watching the video; I’m always laying in bed/on sofa zoning out with my eyes closed, letting the narrator’s voice take me through Tamriel.
Cyrus he actually defeated a daderic prince in his own game
When you play eso and you immediately know who it is from the intro
You had to play eso for that?
Why not Saadia? Some say she is a traitor, but Alik'r.
These are awesome, sir. As always.
NOW WHERE'S THAT GREATEST DUNMER/ALTMER VIDEO 😬
could you guys maybe do a video about the left handed elves? theres a lot of mystery about them and I love the lore
There once was a redguard named Ragnar the Red...
That guy was only famous back in old Rorikstead.. He's pretty much like a small town Quarterback who wins the championship senior year and 15yrs later still brags about how great he was _that one time_ ..pfft.. heard he was pretty ugly too.. jus sayin..
Rezalan the Goat - can somebody get me a drink!
What if you guys did a necromancy thief/ Grave Robber character. I miss character builds.
I’m imagining sword singing to be something between a lightsaber and unlimited blade works from the fate series.
Shinji, get in the goddamn robot.
I just noticed Hamerfell or The Hammerfell you used in this video looks like the world in Conan The Barbarian that’s pretty cool
The greatest lore explainer, explains himself in his past life.
Can we get a video of who’s in the hall of valor and why?
I honestly REALLY wish Elder Scrolls Online would release their next year long expansion in Hammerfell somewhere...because, 1. we need more Redguard lore and cities, 2. We need more desert, craggy, sandy cities and coastal zones (my favorites are ones like Southern Elsweyr, Summerset, etc with tons of water and oceanic themes), and 3. If we all really think TES 6 is going to be based at least in part in Hammerfell, then maybe they would wait til they announce TES 6 and then give us more Hammerfell in ESO? It will have to happen at some point of course
Thank you for this!
Anyone else think Nazeem is just Proventus' lapdog running around ferrying messages? That's what I like to think.
Who wins peak army of Nords vs imperials vs orks vs Regada. Pitch Battle. Siege. Invasion. Naval. 3 points for 1st. 2 points for 2nd. 1 point for 3rd.
Pitch Battle:
1. Regarda
2. Imperial
3. Nord
4. Orc
Siege:
1. Imperial
2. Regarda
3. Nord
4. Orc
Naval:
1. Regarda
2. Nord
3. Imperial
4. Orc
Invasion:
1. Imperial
2. Orc
3. Regarda
4. Nord
This is of course comparing the Imperial Legion at full strength, Swordswingers and the Regarda warriors at full strength, all orc chieftains banding together at full strength and legendary Nord hero’s and armies. Of course, in reality, the Nords would have dragon borns and legends of the thu’um on its side, and you don’t need siege engines, armies or ships to compete with multiple demi-gods, let alone the prospect of global invasion.
Could you do a video about the Celestials in Hammerfell from eso?
Great video! Hoping even more that Elder Scrolls VI is set in Hammerfell...
Nazeems wife told me he did not have a curved sword. She then went to the cloud district with me.
Fun stories! Thanks for uploading!
Great videoas always, but can we get a Dawn Era explained video PLEASE! Its hard i know but you can do it i believe in you!! If you do Bethesda will bring back classes in ES6!
Eastside HammerFell Bluegaurd....
Double swords....
Gang Gang.....
I wonder if the next Elder Scrolls game is going to feature Hammerfell if every home is actually going to have the book of circles in that home as an item - I can picture a thief character ending up with like, 100 copies of that one book.
So will we be getting that TES6 High Rock vid, I very much do love the Hammerfell vid
Cyrus is a GOATed Redguard. Loved the story of TES: Redguard and I'm surprised the skyrim modding community isn't referencing that game enough, I mean sure the game is old and outdated but what can I say, I love a gold ol' swashbuckler.
Well said my love😊
Seriously. How are you or y’all still making videos on this game or elder scrolls right now, fresh content on top of that. This isn’t even ESO content, just general content smh. Your devotion to this game and it’s lore is unbelievable and admirable.
You see those warriors from hammerfell they've got curved swords. curved. swords
I really love ESO's Hammerfell. Plus Saih Sahan's Great
Could you guys do a pelinal whitestrake character build, and do you use ordinator or the lighter vokrii perk overhaul mod these days
Please make a video about windshear and why its so powerful, if that's possible
Damn! I had no idea Cyrus was such a badass!
I love Sai Sahan's beard.
Love your videos can’t wait for tes6
Thank you for keeping my mental health balanced. I’ll forever be grateful ❤️❤️❤️
Buzzing for the greatest dunmer video
I nearly cried for joy when i heard cyrus mentioned
I've been waiting for this!
To celebrate Todd selling us Skyrim yet again in the form of a new ESO chapter, who is the GREATEST vampire of ALL TIME?
Prez chumps master?
The ebony warrior is what came to my mind
finally a lore vid without skyrim music and senery thanks for using eso music
Can’t use Skyrim when it nether has a desert or redgaurd architecture
@@kevind3974 there is probably a mod for it
@@JStaal-do5id i forgot what game were talking about. your right
Nazeem running a close 11th, of course.
Would like to get myself a copy of that book of circles
My dudes have you ever considered doing an Elder Scrolls podcast?
thank you
FudgeMuppet for always give me sum thing to hear while i work in this trying times
Next to my redguard oc in ES but I totally understand why Sahan is second best 🤜🏼🤛🏼😊
@FudgeMuppet
Maybe you could please do a video on The Greatest Dragon of Tamriel?
R u going to do more skyrim builds
Where is Cyrus @ 22:50ish, walking along the port? Is that from a mod or am I missing something? And if so, which one?
With sih sahan that is all 5 companions are now mentioned. Excluding of course the the what the fuck type cherictors of valen (an imperial emperor turned, soul shriven and one of the best elder scrolls readers in history) Cadwell (legendary hero turned Legendary villain, turned mad tortured soul shriven, plain walker who’s most likely still alive to this day) and the vestage/walker (a soul shriven ? Race who’s most likely actually three people who are the same person stuck in their own separate dragon break accidentally caused by maridia overestimating a gift of time hopping and vision bluring. plus he’s immortal and is probably a deadra who was accidentally freed by menimarco stealing his “soul” making him lord less and free to do whatever the hell he wants. At least that’s what i think)
Sail on, fair Cyrus, sail on
