Shawn if I'm not mistaken the Dart has a dual disk dry clutch transmission which can be problematic; if you drive slow in traffic it burns up. Change the gear oil every year and treat it like a manual at slow speeds

My 97 f 150 had the oil plug issue, its the valve cover leaking into those convenient oil collection wells Ford located plugs in.
My daughters' 2016 Forte was getting a misfire on cylinder 4. I changed the plugs just yesterday. They were all white and crusty looking. I think the MAF sensor needs a good cleaning. I hope it's not a bad coil pack, those are not cheap!
I did the old "unplug one coil pack at a time" trick. It was a bad coil pack, $100.00!!

To check coils like that just unplug the wire while it is running if it dies down its working if it doesn't do anything its a bad coil
he mention cylinder 4 was the issue, easy enough to swap 2 coil packs around and see if the fault moves to another cylinder.

I wonder if a little anti-seize on the plug threads and some red thread lock on the helicoil would make the helicoil stay in the head.
Why does it look like 3 coil packs are different? Like everyone else is saying... I'd be looking at the coil packs

i had a Ujoint wore out- cut a piece of leather off the tongue of my boot to fill the void and drove it home...real quiet compared to before the fix. wonder how long it might have lasted (the leather) if id kept it greased

I just had to replace coil pack 6 due to a misfire on my Highlander
Change the coil when the engine light is flashing it’s overheating the catalytic converter

Sean, just a tip, when you hold the spark plugs, to get the camera to focus, put your hand behind the spark plug. just a tip. hope this helps!!

You guys got some serious work ahead of you with your dailies. Get OEM coils, will last 100k. Aftermkt will only last 20k. Especially on Frodo...

93 Zj 5.2 when start up fine but when sticking into D or R sounds like what’s to die like it’s starving for something when you pass that hump 2 or 3 seconds into gear the truck sounds fine again

Yeah even if you have to work on your own stuff at least you save a lot of money on labor costs when you do it yourself or at least think of it as paying yourself when you don't have to pay someone else to do the work..

On mine done that it was my injector I put a new injector on it and it ran good change your injector that's not missing switch it with the one that's missing to see if it changes the misfire to another misfire then you'll know if it's an injector or not if not it might be one of them coil packs might be out already
