Some of the hotels offer parking as well. Don't quote me, but I believe the Radisson charges $7/day and offers a shuttle to the port. Country Inn has a sleep and park special also.
Hello you crazy cruisers !!!🚢🚢 We love it just as much as you. In April of this year we cruised out of Cape Canaveral with Carnival and had no issues ! Flew in on Southwest the morning of and took the Go Port bus to the terminal everything went smoothly . It was our first time there so we did not know our way around but everyone was so helpful. Love watching your videos !! 😍 Enjoy your next trip .
What a fantastic video! I feel so much more prepared and also enthused about using Port Canaveral! Love me a Tiki Bar and many places mentioned look like a nice time! Florida weather is awesome too! Will rent a car and go a few days early. Thank you!
Our favorite pre cruise hotel! With the best shuttle drivers who remember us. Thank you for featuring an embarkation port in detail. This is helpful. I'll be looking for other ports.
As a travel Agent I found this super helpful. I love finding my clients the best information for their cruises. I will be sharing this a lot. Thank you.
I like how you pointed out many options for my favorite port. We rent a beach house a stones throw from the port when we cruise. Also have utilized shuttles from Orlando to a hotel, stay a night and shuttle to port. When done cruising, another stay then they shuttle you back to the airport
We’re cruising out of Port Carnival next week. Arriving the day before and going to stay at Homewood Suite and doing a park & go with them for cruise. Stay overnight, leave the car there for the cruise time & take hotel shuttle to Port a mile+ away.
Great info guys! I would add to the food arena, that there is a unique restaurant in Titusville called Dixie Crossroads. Their specialty is rock shrimp, which they prepare in several ways. Well worth the 35 minute drive from Port Canaveral.
Great video !! Never cruised out of this port. Going November for the mardi gras. Learned some great new options i didnt think about. Thanks Sharon and Jamie.
Port Canaveral is our "home" port living about 5 hours north. We did use GoPort for a stay and park one cruise and found it surprisingly smooth. For about just a little more than parking at the port for a 7 day cruise, a hotel in Titusville and parking in their lot in Merritt Island, and a shuttle to the port. It was well run and wait times for the shuttles was reasonable.
The Hampton Inn near the airport is a great place to stay and even offers a pickup from Goport. I recommend it. There is also a very good steakhouse beside the hotel.
Excellent video thank you for sharing all your knowledge and experience.Great cruise tips sincerely, your friends adventures of David and Aaron. ⚓️ ⚓️ ⚓️
Helpful, thanks. I'm a Lyft loyalist (long story). PC is not a favorite and, sadly, your comments didn't change my mind. However, I do have a cruise leaving from there next year, so I'll try to take some of these tips to heart.
Hi Sharon and Jamie this is a great video because this is my first time arriving in Orlando the week before the cruise. Therefore, I rented a car at the airport. I didn't know you can drop the car at the Port area instead I was returning it back to the airport. I will be cancelling the carnival shuttle.
Thanks for the info Sharon and Jaime. My wife and I are traveling from New Zealand to Orlando April/May 2024 to cruise on Wonder of the Seas and any hints and tips are great. like tipping the cruise port workers/porters as tipping in our part of the world is something thats not done and yes we are staying at the Hampton Suites so very glad it gets your seal of approval. we watch your travels. Andy & Louise..
We live in Orlando, and Port Canaveral is our home port. We do go over the day before our cruise and spend the night. Our favorite hotel is Home2 Suites. Great place.
We are local to Port Canaveral. Our experiance has been about 15 mins. from the parking garage to boarding the ship. The terminals are very well laid out and ADA compliant. I t is the easiest port to sail from.
Nice info I love your visuals. And, yes! Let’s get that “port” in AZ! Or at least an airline to East coast just for us cruisers! Ha Thanks for the video.
My wife and I are blessed by living only 20 minutes away from Port Canaveral. We are frequent floaters and take several 3 and 4 day cruises each year. One HUGE benefit PC offers is the chance to view a rocket launch from the Cape. They happen every 2 - 3 days with the SpaceEx launches. Also in the works at PC is a Seaquarium, an extension of the Brevard Zoo, which should be operational in a year or two. It will be just a stone's throw away from the port and will offer the chance to see manatees, alligators, and all the other fish and wildlife here in FL. Also, highly recommend Grills! It's two minutes walking from Cruise Term #1`. My wife and I frequent this place probably once a month for dinner. We like going on Sunday's about 3:00 PM, get an outdoor table, and watch as all the cruise ships depart the port on their voyages. Great food!!! So much to see and do in Port Canaveral & Cocoa Beach!
we are going on the Mardi Gras out of Port Canaveral on 08 July. we are arriving early on the 7th and wonder what would be nice for a couple that does not drink and doe snot want to go to Disney.
You may want to just head down towards the port and stay at a hotel in the area. There are several great places to eat in the area as well. You could also stay in the coco beach area and take an evening stroll along the beach.
Yep like my parents when we sailed from Miami, we would stay a day before close to Port so as to grab a shuttle to the ship. So the next time I sail I'd pick a hotel close to the Port😁
May I say reserve early cause they are always booked out due to so many cruises . We ended up at a not so fancy place , but for one night it was fine. Plenty of walk able sites and eateries available.
Would have liked more content and information on the parking situation. Are there allocated parking lots for specific cruise lines? I'm going to need to know this for my cruise next year.
We are doing a B2B cruise trip at Port Canaveral crossing different terminals. what are the options to get to them? For example from Terminal 1 to Terminal 6? thanks very much, everyone.
Don't have an exact amount Ken, but we found it was cheaper in the Canaveral area because more people were renting cars post cruise and returning them to the airport . The rental company didn't have to work so hard to get the car back to the airport. If you do a mock booking, the rate breakdown should be available and would show any drop off charge. Thanks!!!
@@SharonatSeaTravel thanks good idea, I am wondering if we rented a car from WPB and drop it off at the port if that makes sense. I try to avoid putting mileage on our car and having to replace tires because of the heat on the roads.

You might want to call the port with any other specific question about parking options. www.portcanaveral.com/Cruise/Port-Cruise-Facts Sorry to not be more helpful.
