I "adopted" an Aye Aye named Agatha through Duke University's Lemur Center. They aren't really as ugly as the worst pictures show, those are just wild nocturnal animals likely startled by the bright light. All the pictures I got of Agatha were cute as heck, and I suspect that's because she was chill instead of scared.

Meanwhile in Pokémon Scarlet/Violet, the aye-aye served as inspiration for Grafaiai, the first Poison/Normal dual-type! It uses its poisonous saliva to draw colorful patterns on trees, not only to mark its territory but also to attract Bug-types with its sweet scent. The painted forest of the Grafaiai in the North Province of Paldea is actually a reference to a real forest in Spain's Basque Country called the Oma forest. Painted in the 80s by Basque sculptor and painter Agustín Ibarrola. It is part of the Land Art movement. He was inspired by the cave art in the nearby Santimamiñe caves, and he wanted to paint on natural structures with the same technique that cave people used to paint on natural rock formations.

The tarsier is named for its elongated "tarsus" or ankle bone. Although tarsiers were once more widespread, all of its species living today are found in Maritime Southeast Asia, specifically the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei. The most famous of the tarsiers is the Philippine tarsier, who are popular with tourists and are sought out as pets or sold for trade, despite its low survival rate outside of their natural habitat with living just up to 12 years in captivity to 24 years in the wild. Previously all living tarsiers had been placed in the genus Tarsius, but a 2010 taxonomic revision placed Philippine tarsiers in their own genus called Carlito (named after conservationist Carlito Pizarras). Horsfield's tarsiers from Borneo and Sumatra are also in their own genus called Cephalopachus

NO nocturnal creature likes it when you shine a light at them! Aye-ayes who are actually CALM and USED to humans can be adorable! My favorite fact about Aye-Aye's is that less than a thousand years ago, the Giant Aye-Aye (Daubentonia robusta) was around. @@The-Seal-Of-Approval even if I watched the commercials, which I don't (I buy the free RUclips package) my op would still be true. But I believe that you are kindly missing my point. Someone who is fully sponsored *doesn't have to rely on commercials.* He could buy whatever audio/visual equipment he wants in order to use to do his work. With the right equipment and a studio to broadcast from, he could release videos at his own pace and endorse only the goods that he himself uses and, (just so he can continue to make those clever segues for his sponsors)
He could be his own man, answer to no one. Heck, he could open his own internet channel and be able to post his content in the clear so his followers could watch him make casual endorsements every now and then on his own server. This man, whose name I sadly can't pronounce (which it seems he's used to!) is exceptionally clever, intelligent and remarkably well-informed *and* well-read from his academic years and he just keeps absorbing more data as an internet authority.
Okay, so I went a little crazy with this daydream, but an influencer like this, who doesn't post crazy challenges or spread gossip and news is worth it! That is, he would be if I suddenly found myself flush with cash...

If I recall correctly, Michael from Vsauce once noted that the way to get people to learn things is to teach them before they realize they're learning.
I feel like you do a similar thing with the science tidbits. If you just told someone that hippos can't really swim because they're all muscle, that's not going to stick with anyone, but that they're so tanky they don't *need* to swim and just adapted to walk underwater? I wouldn't be able to forget that even if I wanted to.

The booger picking and eating is logical. It chews through rotten trees. Rotten trees are hella dusty. And this thing's nose is pressed against said tree, while chomping on the dusty bark, and it still needs to breathe.
So its getting its sinuses packed with particles.
So it uses its finger as a pipe-cleaner. And animals don't have sinks, and can't afford to let a booger crust up on a grabby thing. So, they clean it like all animals clean stuff.
