Atreyu on this one. I feel like KsE might’ve been a more critically acclaimed album at the time and a solid one at that, but The Curse is definitive. The Curse is actually the album that opened the doors to heavy screaming, a heavier lean into a metal side and in essence, broader areas of post hardcore and metal in general for me. Atreyu on this one. Phenomenal album in all aspects ❤

I feel bad for bands that dropped an album in 2004 because that's the year The Oncoming Storm came out.

Waking the Fallen was 2003! That would definitely be on this list otherwise!
LOG put out a great album but most none maggots were introduced to duality...good back further!
KSE ALL DAY! Also in my opinion As Daylight Dies is one of the greatest albums ever recorded.
