i feel like i'm watching myself but in a different body yes the syllabus is my holy grail as well.. i use save my exams i integrate the notes from savemyexam website in my own notes i also take as much advice as possible from my teacher and yes yt videos r v helpful too and YES colour coding is KEY guys whatever she is saying is 100% faxxx like istg this workss i have to give my olevel (98% similar to igcse) exams in june 2025 so this is my goto way of studying plus asking ur teacher bout small queries is v imp DONT HESITATE WHILE ASKING and i also do topical pastpapers like weekly after completing a topic....btw adora ur gorgeoussss:)
Heyo! I don't know what brought me back here (def the result vid), but I would like to just give some thoughts based on my perspective and current journey as an IGCSE student. Fyi, I'm having my exams on O/N 2025 on Bio, Physics, Chemistry, +Math, Modern Math, and ESL. For me, I have always sticked to physical books and notes. I found out that I quite enjoyed more writing rather than typing, same as with reading with a physical book rather than a virtual e-book to the point where I spent quite a lot to get a copy of the Physics, +Math and Chemistry coursebooks. But all that said, I agree with all of the things you mentioned on your video. For my notes, I also use different colors for wording but its limited to only two ink ( red & blue ) for now and also bullet points. On the periodic table part 12:50 , I also kinda use a similiar strat, but instead of reactivity, I did the common charge for all the common elements. With all that being said and with my own IGCSE exams coming up, I'm trying to find a more efficient and faster way to take notes, especially when we only have until May next year to complete all our syllabuses to give time for our mocks and drillings and being the gamer I am, I wanna give a chance to doing notes using docs a chance. Apologies if this is long, I like to overshare on things I'm very very passionate and enthusiastic about !!! Anywho, I think I'll continue to stick around with you and follow up with your mini series as I reach my own boss fight. And I'll also be looking forward to your Physics (weakest sub for now) and ESL (speaking, if u have :pray::pray::pray: my introverted self needs this so much) P.s: congrats on your 11A* !

Can you do Additional Maths i dunno whether I should continue Additional Maths cause its becoming hard and also ICT and also French as a foreign Language
I prioritised revision in both the winter break before my mocks and the spring break before the actual exams, but I would say consistent revision all throughout is still key. Hope that helps and good luck!
I am in grade 9 and feel like I am running away from studying, I just can’t lock in, any tips? And I am scared I literally got depression from studying ict igsce (0417) and I heard that ict is compulsory? I am surprised you didn’t take it because I can’t get rid of it! 😭
For me, IGCSE ICT wasn't even offered at my school, but I did IGCSE Compsci (0478). But anyway, you still have plenty of time to study and you're only in G9! Don't stress too much and just focus on understanding all the material. You got this!

like I get told people studying for only 1 hour (only before exam day) and getting good marks

if you're doing it all focused, then maybe a month or two, otherwise i guess about 3 to 4 months if you're doing other subjects together
