    Always an exciting opportunity when a trainer can get real time feedback from a more experienced trainer. Great dogs!

    I really like the small gestures of positive reinforcement, and the informed use of the e-collar. I can also see why they;re being banned in a lot of the EU, as "the general public" needs basic obedience training coaching to start with... (leash, voice, energy, rewards, consistency, positive/negative reinforcement and other concepts).
    I am seriously impressed with the level of training these dogs get into, and also how much they _want_ and have fun doing it... Thank you for sharing & good luck in the trials!

    By far one of the best dog training, trainers, breeding, picking dogs over seas etc channels when it comes to protection and working dogs! Only thing I'd ask is show different/more breeds that are used in personal protection, police,military etc and sport work! Cane corso, Presa canario, boerboel, giant schnauzer, the Turkish Shepards, bully kutta etc even the people who have land/property and livestock but also want a dog that'll come inside and protect the house/kids etc like the Anatolian Shepard, alabai, kangal, Caucasian Shepards, Turkish boz shepards and so on because a lot of people want or may want/need a dog that can do more than just protection work and or don't want a german shepard, dutch Shepard or belgian malinois due to their needs, family, property etc. I'm assuming you get some of the Molosser breeds, Giant Schnauzer, full size poodle even, some of the hunting breeds like dogo Argentina, southern bloodline true bulldogs, true pitbulls, typical Doberman, Rottweiler, English & BullMastiffs and so on that you dual purpose train etc. Would love to see other breeds besides german/Dutch shepards & belgian malinois

    Can someone (or Haz) explain why he is still giving ecollar stims when to me it seems like the dog did the right thing? there also seemed like there was no verbal correction with the shocks... (examples 0:56 and 2:05 )

    • @la_raison_d_etre
      @la_raison_d_etre Месяц назад +1

      He's using it as negative reinforcement not positive punishment.

    • @FlubR
      @FlubR Месяц назад +1

      @ negative reinforcement would be taking away something that is bad, right? Negative reinforcement is to reinforce the good behavior. I assume the dog clearly knows that if he does the wrong thing he will be given stimuli.. however in this case it seems to me the dog did the right thing and was given negative stimuli? It seems the dog should do the correct thing to avoid the stimuli…

      @@FlubRthis is why I get so confused and when I personally ask questions get hate.
      I’m glad other people like yourself are questioning because I tend to and not many people will

      @positivehotdogs Месяц назад

      @@adventurousdoglover This level of training is way over your heads and that is why you don't understand. Concentrate on learning to teach your dog to sit reliably first lol.

    • @adventurousdoglover
      @adventurousdoglover Месяц назад +4

      @ please don’t tell me what I do and don’t understand. Apparently you don’t if you’re not willing or able to explain some thing because what we’re saying is not wrong and it would seem that maybe you don’t understand if you’re unable to explain versus someone before even knowing them
      The training community is so sad and people alone are getting to the point where hate and judging is the right thing and it’s not
      This is the way that you are going to respond to someone then it shows the lack of education and I am OK saying that because anytime someone comments in this manner without actually wanting or trying to have a conversation shows the lack of understanding

      It's definitely the same remote used in a 1900 dogtra collar. It's also used as arc, but I agree with the other person. It's probably 1900.
