It happens due to wire loose.
Maybe you should have to change the wire. Because after some time they become a little elastic type. Or you can tight your wire. Or contact tha shop where you buy the bicycle

Tighten the barrel adjuster a bit. It should fix it if the cable is loose.

Meri cycle mai jab mai 1st gear pe dalta hu to vo upar nhi chadta par 2nd pe hi rehta hai jaise vo default gear ho uska.
