Great video! I’m a little new to website purchases and I was wondering how customers could cancel the subscription if they wanted too or how you could cancel it for you, thanks!

It all seems to be handled by the plugin from my experience. However I haven't used stripe a tonne with it. I'd check with wpswings.com directly to be certain, or download the free version and test it out

I see what you mean, like protected content or something like that? I would look for more complete solutions for that.
Otherwise, I would tick 'virtual' for products that aren't existing in within the website itself (external memberships, coaching, etc).
Hello, question? Once their subscription ends, if you have the enabled/disabled subscription checked does that mean that the users won't be automatically charged when the subscription is done or do they need to manually disable their own subscription?

Hey mate, one of the developers answered with this: "You can set the subscription expiration period in the product backend, then it will automatically expire the customer subscription as per the subscription expiration time period." So it does end the subscription.

well for automatically charged we must have their card detail. which i guess we don't have , so that's subscriber must enter his or her card detail to renew the membership . so this app is not that usefull
Hi, can I add this to bookings? Once my client books an online class payment is taken weekly until they cancel. Please help.
Thats a good question. I guess it depends on how the product is set up. If its a standard woocommerce product with added functionality to make the booking (with payment upfront) i dont see why it wouldnt work. Its quick to setup so id consider testing it out to be certain.

I set up the subscription on WooCommerce following your intstructions.
When I click the Proceed To Check Out button I get a message saying you must be logged in to check out.
Have you had this happen.
There is no option to log in.

Yes in subscription plugin a customer needs to login first to place a subscription order. But you can enable the login over the checkout page directly from WooCommerce >> settings >>accounts & privacy >> enable to create an account on checkout as shown in the below image.

Sorry mate I'm not sure as I haven;t set up a product with both options - I don't think so but you could try (theres a free version) product variations maybe. Or consider emailing WP Swings to check.

Id definitely experiment, it may restrict to payment methods that support repeat payments.
I'm hoping not. We don't have such options in The Bahamas (unless we use a gateway that caters primarily to the US market, like Stripe).
How do i use woocommerce payments instead of stripe or paypal? I have regular products as well on my website but need some subscription ones.

When I try to make the payment using wps paypal gateway, it shows as unable to create order ? is it a problem with this plugin or the payment gateway as i cannot even change the payment gateway for this subscription plugin, it only accepts payment from wps paypal gateway...pls help
Thay sounds odd, a bit more than ibcould diagnose from here. Try sending amessage to wpswings they may have seen this before and have a better idea.

Not sure sorry mate, maybe theres a another plugin but i cant say for sure.
Hi just tried this WP Swings and it would not activate on my WP site. WordPress and other plugins must be conflicting.
Could be, have you tried deactivating some temporarily to test? Could be theme too. Itherwise id message the wp swings team they may have some answers for you.
Could it be WooCommerce wasn't installed first? I noticed this behaviour when I installed the plugin.

I think it could be used that way, however I would think there are far simpler solutions out there.

It's still free in the WordPress repository. I'm not sure why that has happened sorry mate. What if you download the zip direct from the WordPress.org page and upload / replace the current plugin?

Cancel Subscription Plan
Both user and admin canceling subscription functionality are provided in the plugin. For admin, the steps are:
Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins > Subscriptions for WooCommerce > Subscriptions Table
Hover over the subscription plan you want to cancel.

That plugin allows you to create only ONE subscription plan. 😭😭😭
Double check the pro version, im not sure if it offers more.
create another product with a different plan and offer both products. thats what I did
