Not many know that Dayara Bugyal is a favourite trek among some of the most seasoned trekkers at Indiahikes.
Sandhya UC, co-founder and COO of Indiahikes explains why we love Dayara Bugyal: “This trek is superbly rewarding at any time of the year. The snowscape in winter is a world on its own. The forests are splendid in spring, the meadows are an unbeatable green in summer, and they turn orange in autumn, with striking mountain views. You can go any time, and you’ll not be let down”.
"The meadows are so perfectly landscaped, that there isn't a single rock or tree out of place. With the royal views of the Gangotri mountain range in the backdrop, the rewards are massively disproportionate compared to the effort you put in," adds Sandhya.
So, how to reach Dayara Bugyal?
One has to reach Dehradun, from where Indiahikes offers a pickup to the Raithal base camp as per the planned Dayara Bugyal trek itinerary.

@@MSav1988 It's actually a terrific snowy trek in Jan and Feb. Most of the snow photos and videos that you see in this film have been shot in Jan.
@@abhinavrock94 At the moment, there's not much snow. But we are expecting snowfall around December 26th. It completely depends on your luck, so keep your fingers crossed!
This is indeed a beautiful trek and i must admit that India Hikes and the team is just amazing! A special shout out to our trek leaders Spoorthi Shetty & Mayank. These guys made our trek memorable. The most giving and humble people. Being with young kids and doing our first trek and going through tough times and fun times, they made it happen for us and I must admit that it is due to them we all enjoyed and successfully completed our first trek and they have made us trekkers for life, Kudos guys!

I did this trek last May (2022) for my first trek in the high altitudes. The Dayara meadows were indeed very very beautiful. Lush green like i had not seen previously anywhere.
India hikes also made it a wonderful experience. My best wishes to Indiahikes.

I went two years back during peak winter. What a view! On the way to Dayara peak we witnessed mesmerizing sunrise. I agree with Arjun completely. I have been to several high-altitude treks, but Dayara is unbeatable in terms of the divine touch that you get

I am going Dayara Bugyal in the month of January 12th 2024 hope so we get vast expanse of snow covered, i heard that just last month it snowed in dayara, its very rare in October snowing...

Nice Video. .The Tranquility, Natural Meadow is complimented by Carpet of Greenery. .Done Dayara Twice, Met Indiahikes Team on second one 😁. .There are few more treks that can be done from Dayara, However they require a Local Guide /Experts/Professionals who have done it multiple times.. Not sure if you guys go for it( Would love to do that ). . Hint ---Another Biggest Bugyal and One Mystical Lake all through Dyara Bugyal. 😏 .

One of the best videos by IH. But still the "Why we love buran ghati" video is completely at different levels. Looking at more videos on the series why we love for the treks - Rupin pass, Hampta pass, kedarkantha etc.
Love For Rupin Pass Is Because Of Uncountable Waterfalls And it keeps getting increase when it rains.

Weather in march on Dayara Bugyal trek will be pleasant. Not too cold during daytime (10-15 C)
At night it still can go subzero.
Snow condition in March depends on the snowfall in February. But there is a good chance of finding snow in the Bugyal.

I am going for a trek for the first time from Feb 13/14th and am very confused between the Dayra Bugyal and Deorital Chandrashila. I love forests and ofcourse the sunrises and sunsets could you please help me choose between the two, considering primarily that I am an absolute beginner?
Hi Anumeha, both the treks are very good and are best suited for beginners. If you love forests, choose Deoriatal Chandrashila as you trek inside the Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary. It has the densest forests. Even on this trek, you can experience beautiful sunset from Syalmi campsite and sunrise from the Chandrashila summit. Will there be snow in early April batches?
Dayara Bugyal in April gets greener as the snow starts melting. You’ll get snow in the upper reaches of Dayara. Spring is the great time to experience the last of the winter snow.
My brother has borderline hypertension which is under control through medication. Can he do this trek ?
Yes, he can. Just make sure that he carries his medication on the trek.

is this track is doable in August
Wouldn't recommend it in August as it gets very rainy. Best avoid monsoon months of July, August and early September. Aside from that, you can do it at any time of the year. :)
