- This video is a celebration of the launch of our newest longboard the Tan Tien. Progressive longboard riding by Adam Colton, Kyle Chin, P-Below Castro and the Bandyman. We had a lot of fun making this video, and yes the first part is the same location as Flipping the Switch it is just too fun to skate. Stoked that Loaded riders and employees Pablo and Marcus came out to skate. Special thanks to our friends at Kinky for the rights to Soun Tha Mi Primer Amor and for tweaking the song to fit our needs. www.kinkymusic.com

10 years later and still one of the best boards ever made.
I still ride mine after 8 years. I remember seeing some guy on Reddit say “Loaded boards are nice, but they will probably delam after a year or two”.
Oh yeah? Because mine still feels brand new
@@HieronymousLex got mine second hand for cheaps and it was definitely used, still rides perfectly. Built like a tank! Hope it’ll never break though because these decks are crazy expensive!
5min later and i still Love it haahahha
ive got the dervish sama, its big brother, and after 6 years it is still the best board.
@@ROBOELITE29 sama is an amazing board
Man 6 years, feels like yesterday, the Tan Tien will always have a special place in my heart, such good times.
Sad that the German scene is shrinking.
+WhosCruzin I know dude, here in the UK i thought it was shrinking til the sun came out ant i saw about 7 skaters in a week! just you wait for summer
+unvervacebushcraft In the town where i live it used to be one of the hotspots for longboard skating in North Rhine Westfalia but after 3 years, more and more were gone especially veterans left and now we are a group of about 10 people and 4 are still actively skating, the rest are sadly posers ...
Just started doing DH and Freeride, and can say that the Dominican scene is shrinking as well, the ones of the old school guys that are left, always tell me about how they use to be a big grup of about 30 longboarders and how they use to do tons of trips around the island... now there are like 10 and most of theme are new like me... maby i started Longboarding in the wrong time...
What type of wheels
Whos x Cruzin welche stadt?
i am a skateboarder and i find this amazing
and i hate it when other skaters and bmxers say u guys have no talant cuz u really do. keep up thegood work longboarders
Hell yeah dude
Damn 10 years! That was the video that got me to buy my Tan Tien, i can't beleive it's been this long! Did my first run since a very long time today and came straight back to this video after, its the best ever!!
I remember when this first came out i was so hyped, it's amazing to see how far longboarding has come, nowadays this isn't considering too hard atall. Stay Stoked
I always come back to the video mid winter and think back on the good days of long boarding and summer. One of my favorite RUclips videos and absolutely dig this song.
Has it been 10 years already?!?! This video led me to buy my tan tien back in 2010 and I've loved it since the day I bought it. I'm still not as good as these guys, but have so many great memories on this board. Keep spreading the stoke
I bought this board, still have, still ride and after 10 Years, still strong.
My mom sold mine for $25 fcking dollars when I left for college not knowing how FCKINGGGGGG expensive it was
2:38 Adam Colton isn't even scared of manhole covers. Confidence at its finest
Just tried my Tan tien 12 years later, still carving like new, such a satisfying board :3
I wish I was even remotely able to do anything in this video. Looks soo fun once you're that good, but I'm terrible ;(
+AnAsian2010 You can learn most of those tricks from our Trick Tip Playlist on our Ambassador Channel here!

Practice practice practice, I've been longboarding for 10 years, I watch videos of me longboarding when I was 13 when I first started, I don't even recognize that it was me in the video. It feels like that kid couldn't get as good as this one sitting here now, but he did.
As I always say, you'll always be afraid to try something new until you try it
I started Longboarding in the year when this video came out, I always wanted to get a tan tien but it never happened. I’m watching this today almost a decade later, all the memories is now replaying, good old times...
god dam it i wish my street was like this
I just changed my old sector 9 for a Tan Tien and it is the most amazing longboard in the world. Thank you.
Forget my Evo, I want this board!!!
These guys rip it up! I just got one of these, can't wait to get back in to longboarding again after a few years off. Good times :)
Lo vuelvo a ver en 2019 ;(
igual aqui jajajaj
I'm a very dedicated longboarder and usually swear by sector 9 products. but about 30 minutes ago I rode a loaded board for the first time, which was a tan tien. Needless to say I'm now buying one ASAP. smoothest ride ever.
Me: Damn i really gotta pee!
just 1 more video!
(after video)
Damn i really gotta pee
just 1 more video!
Love this. Still one of the most fun longboarding vids around. And at the end of the day it's the fun that counts
I just bought this one . Released 13 years ago. . I love it ❤ very well made
probably the best longboarding video I've ever seen
This video is the perfect balance of tricks/bombing hills/ and slides.
Just love this video! But, I have a question. How is Tan Tien (the trucks) when it comes to turning compared to the s8 trucks from originalskateboards?
Wow. How do they glide so easy? Is it just the wheels or does the trucks play too? I run a Sayshun addict, well broke in so its got the nice stiff flex.
I've had this board for 12 years.
Hey Adam C, don't know if you'll see this but i've been doing the stale fish slide but i was wondering if you had any tips for bringing it back around like you did in this vid.
Did u have finger pucks on, did it help that you were on the tight curve, what should my weight transfer be like?
p.s. did having your hand on the nose help?
I found my old wheels from 10 years ago, can't remember the brand because the graphic completely wore away, but I threw them on this board and holy shit, this board became a sliding beast with those 88a wheels
I just got this board, and I'm in love with it dude! highly recommended!
I never get tired of this video.
Man the mix in the paris hangers and the Grizz trucks isssss amazzziingggg!!!
Apex 37 2011 or the Loaded Tan Tien? I have only tried my friends Tan Tien and it rides nice and I'm into tricks. I know that you two are different companies but which do you think is better?
hey, i have a question. what kind of board is this, like more a board for tricks or carving or sliding or just overall ??
plz respont
a fanatic longboarder
tan tien or dervish? for hills, sliding, and a little-some downhill. thanks for any feedback
Old dude kicking it... jamming out... hands out.... knocks over cones... LIKE A BOSS!
dont worry i have a tan tien and i have bottomed it out a ton! like the board wont snap or anything and the board holds together very well. the only thing to worry about is razor tail. in all my current videos im riding a tan tien!
What trucks are you using? i cant seem to get that mobility out of my Paris with my tan tien
I watch this video everyday before i go boarding. God i love this board
Size oh te wheels? 75-78mm?
This is the coolest longboarding I've ever seen!
Watched this over 10 times .. And finally bought my Tan Tien the day after.
I have a question.
What flex are you using in this video?
What trucks and wheels does the Tan Tien come with compete? And are they any good?
What lens did you use for this video?
you guys represent everything i want to be as a longboarder
Is this board for no complies etc. (freestyle)? I want to know if u can pop with it. I want to freestyle and freeride. The board looks sick ,the video too but i cant try it since there is no shop in my city,
@Commander56651 thanks for the advice! I checked out all the boards you suggested and the one that appeals to me most is the neversummer revolt. Although that one is the best out of those, I still think the Tan Tien is a bit better for me. this is because it flexes more than the revolt, and Im not really looking to go down any enormous hills. But anyway, thanks for the help!
@ 3:13 is that the hill (i think it was the zephyr team?) practiced slalom on? if not it looks damn close...
Dilma if do you searching for a board to slides i recommend the tesseract because have a concave and this will be help you
I just got the tan tien a few days ago and im LOVING IT!
How's the concave on this thing? My feet slide right off on my standees and I'm getting a new deck, does it lock your feet?
whats the name of the song. the best song to have in your ears ever
Are orangatang stimulus 86a 70 mm more or less the same as 83a pls I really need an answer :)
Is the TAN TIEN good for long distance tour? + is it a fast board?
@LoadedNewsletter is the loaded tan tien flex 1 a good board for a person who weighs 120kg and will be free riding?
hey guys, how big are the kicks on this board? cant decide between bhangra and this.
What’s the name of the song?!!! Please
when you bomb a big hill like this do you want your trucks really loose or just a little loose?
Uhm so its hard to the slides that r shown in the video. I usually do stand ups with 30-40km/h. I weight 60 kg, wont be the flex one stiff enough. And what do u think of the dervish sama? In Bulgaria there arent many dealers and i know the guy from loaded Bulgaria so really soon I'll be able to try the loaded boards and get a little discount when buying thats why im asking about tan tien and dervish sama. Thank you for the info.
@ loadednewsletter
does the sand screw your bearings. i'm thinking of moving to LA in the next few years from AUS. those two statements are unrelated by the way
Apex 40 or Tan-tien? I wanna do some carving, a bit of downhill and some tricks like stand up slides. I just started longboarding so ill be getting into tricks later on.
is the tan tien a good board for me. i tend to abuse my boards more than usual and was wondering if i fall and hit the tail on a curb or something will this board break or hold together.
i weigh 105 pounds and will be cruising, sliding and carving and maybe a little bit of downhill. is the tan tien a good board for this? and which flex do u reccomend? i dont want to bottom out or get speed wobbles or be way too stiff
wich board is easyer to slide with? tan tien or dervish...and wich otang wheels? help please
That look back pendy at 00:31 is still dripping 13 years later
That depends on how fast your planning to go... If you plan of doing some fast freeride i would recommend getting a flex 1. But if you want to cruise and freestyle i would recommend getting a flex 2 even if it means you have to get a 2012 graphic
I love Watching this videos, this is the 7th time I watch it and its awesome!!
Gonna watch some more!!
@XFerrosX Its really up to you if you know your going to be growing and getting a little heavier go with the flex 2 but if you stay around the 130 to 140 area get the flex 3, also the flex 3 does have a lot more spring then the flex 2. Which the flex 2 is stiffer. which ever one you get I guarantee you will love it. if you have other questions feel free and ask.
So i was planning on getting the sector 9 mountain peak but idk if i should save the money and get this. The mountain peak is 200 and i have the money for that but this looks so sick
what are the green bushings in the end '. + What bushings would you recommend for tan tine flex 2 randal 180mm?
Which board is more flexible, the tan tien or dervish? Or which board should I get?
did loaded discontinue the star graphic on the tan tien?
I might be getting this board soon, and I wanna know if it is good for a place like OC, NJ, where it's mostly flat and a little rocky
is my tan tien the only board that gets chipped off fiber glass splinters? or is it for all the tan tiens?
what slide gloves do you guys use?
So this video is pre sick! How much is the tan tien? :)
What's better for the Tan Tien Randal 180's or Paris 180's??
is the tan tien good for mild downhill and cruising? please answer?
What style of longboard is best for a begginer? A pintail or what?
Hey! I am going to order the Loaded Tan tien, but i don´t know too much about what trucks and wheels i should "order" any tips? Thanks.
Thinkin about getting one. question, can't decide on wheels, otang stims or 4prez's? whats the difference in the wheel construction? i have 4presidents on my current board.
I am looking for a board with which I can do some technical tricks like tiger claws, shuvits, kick flips ect., But I also want to be able slide nicely down some mild hills. Is the Tan Tien the absolute perfect board for that? Im asking because I really want to put in a considerable amount of money into buying the perfect board to fit my needs. If there is maybe a better board for doing what I expect to be doing, please tell me. Money is not an issue for me so feel free to suggest anything.
kyle chin and adam colton=perfect video
I think im going to buy a tan tien instead of a dervish what do you guys think?
I have Tan tien. what wheels do you recommend for sliding?
i love this longboarding edit
greetings from germany...
This is the sickest longboard video i have ever seen!!!
is the tracking done with a track or in editing
`What flex is that? I have the Flex3 and i think its pretty good so far.
Ohhhh i just forgott to ask if it comes with shockpads... does it?
What are some good sliding trucks
Should i get a tan tien deck and put my wheels (bigfoot) trucks (Randal 180's) or should i just get a complete sector 9?
would you recommend this if im just starting long boarding ? i just want a free ride longboard
i have a question!! can i put gullwing sidewinders on the board?
The wheels are 65mm?
THANK you so much loaded I got my tan tien today and I love it MORE THAN ANYtHING!
@imazngg No, the dervish is. Not saying it can't handle other stuff, but the only area where it really shines is carving. I realize that statement could be misinterpreted. So @snones7 if you're reading this, I meant to say the tan tien is your best choice.
what flex is the best for grabs and slides, carves?
This video is a Classic 👏👏👏👏
I weigh 125 lbs and I want a Tan Tien 2011 (flex 2) because I don't like the 2012 graphic. The problem is that no shop/site in my area has got the 2011 flex 2. Does it matter if I buy the flex 1 then ? Will it do something to my sliding or something ?
