  • Today I'm taking a second look at the Retroid Pocket 3+ one year after launch and before the Retroid Pocket 4 and 4 Pro release.
I also test cloud gaming with the device, a use case I didn't consider before.

Still a really, really solid handheld. Hell any of these devices that can play even PS1 and down are crazy to me as I grew up with all of those systems. Just to have NES and Genesis portable is amazing to me lol

I agree. I would only consider upgrading to the 4 or 4 Pro if Playstation 2 is the most important to you. I'm using it the most with PSX RPG and Dreamcast games I never played

I will maybe order one a little later. It's crazy that for 200$ you could get great PS2 performance in 2x resolution

If you have any issue with bluetooth speaker and you already found the solution, can you tell me how to do it? My rp4 pro doesnt give any audio to any of my bluetooth speakers

I love my Retroid Pocket 3+, it's a great buy. It's a great Retro Handheld in 16 X 9 screen, with good performance, playing up Dreamcast, PSP and some Gamecube. It's only if you want better performance for Gamecube or want to play PS2 library that the 4 or 4 Pro make sense, but it's 150$ and 200$ USD
