      Somethings my yard won’t accept like fridges or vacuums. Somethings I’ve learnt give me headaches like adult size bikes. Somethings like BBQs I’ve learnt just aren’t heavy and take up a lot of space. Some days I cbf and just cherry pick the stuff I like. Everyday is different 😁

    With the insulated wire l was cutting the plugs off, my buyer said leave them they were OK . I had a mountain of tires on rims to get the tires off l used a sawsall ( reciprocal) and a grinder with a quick cut disks. Sorted them out sold all the rims , cleaned up some space. Next time ! 👍🇨🇦

      @@PolyProphet you do a lot more than many scrappers , and you have no room . I’ve got 80 acres lots of room for scrap. I do old cars and trucks too

      You can stuff the old cutup tires in your scraped washers, unless they say something, most don't.

      @@marcusmany3155 Here in British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦 we have a tire reclyeing program if you have any tires you want to despose of , you drop them off at anywhere the sell tires , they have to take them it’s the law 👍🇨🇦

      @@marcusmany3155 oh no I could never do that to my scrapyard. The only way I know of getting rid of them legally is through our own hard rubbish piles. We’re allowed to put 4 tyres out with our own pile. My neighbours let me add to their piles if they aren’t disposing of tyres themselves. It’s not ideal though as they aren’t actually getting recycled.

      @@PolyProphet maybe you could use one of those steel bins with the removable plastic liner as your wire pot? Secure the bin in place and then just pull liner out when its full 😁😎

    Another big load on jr. We’ll done! Poly, why can’t you get heavy steel (insize?) for those old truck springs? I think that’s what they are. My dads old truck used to have them. They seem pretty heavy.

    You need to do is get some 10-step pliers then you won't have to cut that three or four times them hoses coming off the dryer or the dishwashers or the washing machines one snipping you'll be done just a suggestion thank you for your video

      Great advice mate. I’ve been meaning to try the pocket knives I received to do this, or maybe larger side cutters, to keep the tools onboard to a minimum 🤙🤙

    Your tongue there on your trailer right as it comes off your trailer why don't you put some diamond plate on there then you can put things on there when you need to put a box on there about 6 inches high just perfect for like a washing machine or a dryer or a dishwasher and have some hooks for some tie downs like I said thank you for your video

    Hiyas maybe you asked your yard already but here in the U.S. blender bases are motors, after all it is a motor with a little plastic around it plus I will say if you want to put the time in they are almost always super easy motors to cut the copper out of.

    Nice load of scrap Poly well done. I always try and guess your overall weight before you go on to the weigh point, I guess Ed 3250 kg but boy you went all the way to 3400 kg well done.

      I seen you had a little trouble ripping it off take your wire cutters and pinch it and then break it like you would a piece of copper

      Yes you’re right. I saw they where Allen key screws and was hesitant to mess with it. Ahh perspective! I’ve never worked in snow though can imagine most people wouldn’t bother. Thank you mate 😊

    Have you tried boiling the cords? they are much easier to take apart when they are hot .

    Boil all your plugs in an emersion heater then bring them out into a vice pliars and a chisel and extract all brass. A good hobby for the wife ❤️not 😎😎😎

      talk to your supplier before you dump them in the shredd pile.you might get a better price than shredd because i can imagine in your storage unit your could fill up a 50 gallon barrel in no time.if it pay alot more than shredd it's worth it. if not shredd it.

    Just start watching. Do you just scrap? Or do you resale stuff also. Cause the yellow spot lights resale quickly over here. As I noticed you passed on some home fans. Which are electric motors. You took the kids bike but, passed on the adult bike. Not trying to criticize. Just trying to understand other people’s ways of scrapping. But must say. Like the trailer very much. Can’t wait to checkout some of your other video’s. Thanks for a nice video.
