To all those complaining how these guys can't speak English and can't answer these questions please know that they have spent the last 2-3 years studying in their rooms. They might be socially awkward and might have been scared of speaking in front of a camera.

Many people here are complaining about their english. So this is for you-
English is a language not knowledge. I know some have given some silly answers, but yeah may be that is why they have got featured in this video ; P
Being a fresher, facing camera for the 1st time or even crowd around can cause anxiety. Its ok if some sounded dumb. But everybody knows what they will be while graduating from the Institute.

Many people here in the comment's section are criticising these students a lot, but take a look at them from their perspective. Its their first day at IIT after studying hard for 2 years with high expectations and hopes, probably facing the camera for the first time in their lives. Its not easy to give smart answers on the spot. Plus, do not equate English as a measure of knowledge. They have earned their admission there. Also, I think the video was just made as a comic take on the freshers, so dumb answers are all that are expected from them. General answers would not make their way to the video.

These people are extremely talented and thats the reason there are in this college so called 'IIT Bombay'. Taking about their communication skills, they are freshers and have been studying hard for 2 to 3 years and have gained immense amount of knowledge which is required to become a good engineer better that any other college in this country

Mechanical engineering is dead branch in India, I had taken educational loan from Axis bank and I am driving Ola cab to repay EMI installment, please don't follow trend, Bcom walo Ka market hai abhi. My starting salary was 6000/- per month in that salary I can't even afford accommodation, so switch to driver job in ola.

Raghav Aggarwal ____ i would say its neither totally wrong nor totally right what you said. i myself am a govt affiliate college student in honors course graduation and there are some cases when prof dont come but also there are many when they are present consecutively...in govt colleges.

Antony I am in CSE at DTU you need to have 200+ in mains and 75%+ in CBSE to sit for mains to get through DTU CSE if you are from General Delhi otherwise you need to have a score of at least 240 if you are from outside delhi for CSE.
You should have at least 150 marks to get any stream at DTU if you are from Delhi region. For outside Delhi it would be about 180 marks I guess.

I don't know why youth is wasting their effort and time. Please guys if you think you can do a lot better,
Don't go for IIT's, Stanford and MIT's are better and it's quite easy to reach there. My experience here was awful, I wasted my year studying engineering in IIT and dropped as i was not learning anything. Some say it was my biggest mistake but i don't regret at all, There are bunch of robots getting programmed here for better future performance.
