this series has been a major creative inspiration for me, and has even seemingly changed the way layers of magnitude work when i'm dreaming. i just want to say thanks to everyone who put their hard work into making it, and give it a little bit more algorithm clout with a comment.
This is amazing as always. I would love it if you would make a vidoe about the digestive system of microbes. I just can't understand how do they get the energy out of their meals. Humans have a stomach, liver etc but how do microbes do it?
My god. You have the perfect microscope music. Whenever I sit down to gaze into the lens of my own, I cannot help but admire the beauty of music you have chosen so perfectly selected to the medium. Incredible.
These little creatures show how wonderful and beautiful life can be. Looking at all of them swimming in total chaos made me think about the African savanna where wildebeest are hunted by lions. The micro cosmos doesn’t differentiate that much from our macro cosmos.
Have only been watching this channel for a week and just yesterday spent way more money on a microscope than I should have. But I have a well established reef tank aquarium with loads of cool stuff to look at sooooo..... thanks I guess for the cool content.
It seems that James frequently finds creatures previously unknown to science. Does he have as many credits in journals as this? Thanks for a great show, as always.
Glad you chose not to kill the little guys to aid identification; I'd much rather watch vaguely classified critters blithely enjoying their lives, than to look at expertly classified, static, dead things!
It's funny. We intentionally and inadvertently kill microbes all the time in our daily routines, but when we come here and see them... they are suddenly hard to kill. I'm the same way.
@@rodchallis8031 It's so much more difficult to kill something when aware of the tiny lives we're killing (but I've no problem killing deer ticks, fleas, and some species of lice, as long as I can limit collateral damage that might endanger other creatures.)
Serious question what would happen if I ate one? Would I get sick? I work on farms and often wonder what microbes I ingest when I end up covered in dirt all the time
Keep up the good work guys and gals, really enjoy your videos and have recently subscribed, love the commentary, love the microscope work and all your team should be proud. I only came here for the water bears 🤣
It's not the best way, but one thing that might help, is to click the three dots next to "Save" (after the like/dislike), and choose "Open Transcript". Then you can see the English subtitles, and copy them into Google translate.

Can you go to a place were only exstremafiles live and give them a look?.
How do virologists know there's a new virus and prove that it casues disease?
Which equipment you use?
I tried selling protist smoothies once, but it was _really_ hard pouring them into those tiny cups.
Perfect.
_~extended applause~_
Well done! Bravo!
Haa!
😄👍
I love this group of people. One of, if not the only good part of my week is looking through the microscope listening to a new creation by you guys
I hope you get more good moments in your weeks to come 💜
It's not hard to be more interesting than humans, is it 😂
@@PJ-he5zk No, people are great! I love everyone and all..I'm just doing really bad for the past couple years

I’m just blown away by every one of these videos. The detail visible on and in the critters is stunning.
Wow, what a great episode. That last slide had such incredible focus and clarity! You guys are amazing.
When will you release the blooper reel of all the times Hank tripped over "spathidiid"? It must exist.
That final scene, that runs underneath the ad as well, is stunning. It's like a Hieronymus Bosch painting of the microcosmos.
This is amazing as always.

Tomorrow’s biology practical will include learning how to handle a microscope, I will tell my kind teacher about this lovely gem of a channel 🌘✨
So beautiful, enjoy your break.
Love looking at these...can't wait to watch it on a big screen.
Thank you for taking us on this informative journey once again.
Thanks for sharing the fun discoveries in the microcosmos.
I would love to see you guys do a video on the parasites that live on the human body(naturally).
For example: Face Mites. Would be dope to see!

Beautiful video as always. keep up the great work.
Beautiful as usual💚🦠🦠🦠🔬

What is the black hole up left at 7:21?
Spathidiid Microcosmiei. Spathidiid Jamiei.
Thanks for the awesome content!
ty for the entertainment
This channel is the reason i still am passionate about microbiology

Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up as a support
Always fascinating!
What a great video. Could you please tell me wich microscope and settings you use? The images are just wonderful
Thank you kindly bro
We are truly one ❤
Remember, if you like, comment, and subscribe you help the alga rhythm. Without you algae has no rhythm.
Please do a video about yogurt or cheese bacteria.

I'm happy to send some water samples from Queensland, Australia.
At 7:14, what are thoes big brown microorganisms moving around?
"its mouth spirals around its body"? WHAT?!
Do a video on radiolaria!! Please! Love your channrl
"Mud wigglers" is now the official name of JttM Patreons. 😁
Hello, what of equipment do I need to achieve what you got here on video?
How much approximately would it cost?
Keep up the good work guys and gals, really enjoy your videos and have recently subscribed, love the commentary, love the microscope work and all your team should be proud. I only came here for the water bears 🤣
How do you get the blue tent to all the videos is it a filter or dye to the water/oil? Just curious.
"Nose hair" does make for a pretty silly it.
Donald Johanson used to say the same about what we named ourselves--Homo sapiens sapiens: Really, really smart man.
Are those spirochetes in one of the slides?
no, multiple slides
Spathidiids..is that were the name Spathi came from in Start Control?
Cool.
Which equipment you use?
How many species as MoM James discovered? What has he named them?
Hey! What kind of video editing software do you use to get those colors?
Those are the real colors!
-James
I so enjoy the relaxing nature of this channel. ❤❤ Here's a like and comment for the Almighty Algorithm.
😅😅😅well information good show 😅

❤️
Wat model this microscope
They kinda cute
Ever been stuck with 3 I's in Scrabble? --- Spathidiids. of course "spat" would have to be on the board.
If that is a new species James should name it after himself but faux-latinized
Was it Scatman John that did the naming? I knew it....
Would you be interested in looking at Extremefiles for us please.
I saw the thumbnail, and thought it was a reef, lol.
two 'ii's in latin are pronounced different then just a single letter 'i'.
Fist of the nose hair!
Anyone else read it as Spa-thid-ee-id?
I’m with you on that one.
Read the thumbnail wrong and thought it said mystery turkey :(
Same goes for humans. We come in all shapes and sizes
comments for the algorithm
McNosehair
Are you sure it's not pronounced "Spath-idd-ee-ids"?
I wondered the same thing. :)

i subscribe your channel, but my english isn’t good enough to understand what you say ... thatswhy: how about german subtitles? i would like it 😊

Hey Hank, it would be cool to see some 3D representations of the various microorganisms because they look so 2D in many of the microscope views.
Would be in bad taste to request a video speculating on microscopic life post nuclear apocalypse?
Ay first one
Your voice is sooo much better than the girl's.
First
A solid video, since you didn't include that evolution nonsense into this one. Good job.
