    Beautiful video buddy 👑
    My favorite fish to target in season , such an awesome and aggressive fighter. In my country the max depth to fish them from Shore is like 7 meters tops so the technique you mentioned about working fast is extra relevant. Because of this depth the fish is very close to the bottom so I usually work with single hooks on my lures, because alot of times when it go to the rocks, its the treble hooks that getting snagged, and then it's almost impossible to get it out . Very challenging fish to target here , ty for another great one bro ✌️✌️✌️

    Great video Markos ! If one assist is enough on jig, why keep two trebles on gravity runner for example. I remove both trebles and use single hook on the belly. THis Was it does not snag and still has great hookup ratio

    • @MarkosVidalis
      @MarkosVidalis  Год назад +1

      You don't risk because there is enough tolerance but I suggest you not to do that... Why bring your rod to the limits? Also there is not much reason to use a 110gr jig than a 100gr. So better not

    Regarding groupers I cannot crack the conditions for them. I know the areas that hold them 100% percent, the problem is Its really hard to get perfect conditions for them. I am aware that low currents work the best. For this I have found that half hour at the peak of the high tide ( slack tide ) is best. And this is when I usually get the strike. But there are so many other factors that impact this, for example thermocline can mess up the lower currents any time of the day. If we add that groupers can go 5 days without eating and then explode in half hour, it makes this half hour really hard to be at the right place. This translates into having 3 groupers in 15 minutes and then next 10 fishing sessions not a single one. I am aware that nobody can know and control those condition so well to get strikes consistently of any fish let alone the groupers but maybe there is something I am missing here ?

    • @MarkosVidalis
      @MarkosVidalis  2 месяца назад

      From what you already mentioned, the thermocline and the presence of baifish are the two major options that Jude if the groupers will hunt or not. Especially groupers are made to fast for extended periods of time
