From this same album as this song, The Raven Child (feat. Hansi Kursch & Jorn Lande) is another great song. Don't know if there is a live version but the studio version is incredible.

Band probably isn't the right word, I think it usually get's called a superproject as Tobias is the only really consistent part of any album or tour. That said the number of people that have performed as part of Avantasia reads a lot like a whose who of Rock- Klaus Mein, Alice Cooper, Bob Caitley, Andre Matos, Eric Singer, Timo Tolki... The second Avntasia Album (The Metal Opera IIL The seven Angels) starts with a massive ensemble song that has seven vocal and around a dozen instrumental parts.

Since it seems like you are enjoying tobi's sound, it would be nice to react to some of his stuff with Edguy (his former band). I think "Mysteria (live in São Paulo 2004)" is a great one to show his vocals before he changed it^^

Hahaha now imagine Tobias and belting like this for 3 hours and that's every gig.
I WAS THERE! I was at this festival where this song was filmed and it was my 3rd time seeing Avantasia in my life and second time seeing them that year and it was AMAZING! I think this is the best sounding vocals from him in these past few years. And i know he had some problems with his vocals before and when i saw Edguy 5 years ago Tobi wasn't sounding too good but it was because he almost had a burn out. I also prefer later Edguy stuff more than earlier because in the earlier stuff Tobi wanted to sound more like Kiske and in the later stuff he actually has found his own singing style which i love so much, probably that's why I don't really enjoy The Metal opera albums so much anymore.
Also, what's kinda sad is that many Eduy fans think that Tobi "abandoned" Edguy but as Tobi said himself many many times on his Instagram/Facebook is that he can't force himself write only Edguy songs or only Avantasia songs. He writes songs without attaching them to the band, that happens later. Like the album where Ghost in the moon is from was at first thought to be his solo album, that's how he thought at first and only later he realized that it will be Avantasia album. I like Edguy and Avantasia equally and of course, i can't wait to see Edguy being active again but in the meantime, i do enjoy listening to Avantasia.
He's recording new Avantasia now and I'm excited because he's having so much fun.

All of you asking about why Tobi's voice changed from his 20's to his 40's, ummm you need to not be using Social Media and go get some cognitive function help.
To not understand that people get older is ridiculous.
If you can't comprehend that people get older, maybe you should get help and find out why you are having issues like that and not project them on Social Media.
