gang orca (the killer whale guy from the first moment) is actually a big softie and super friendly. he looks scary, so he was hired on by the exam team to play villain during a test for the students, but really he's much happier managing the aquarium he owns than fighting people.

yeah. That might have been a little iffy calling that a "team" fight. Like yeah, Sri was obviously helping Deku, and he couldn't;t win without her....but she wasn't really fighting Overhaul. She was just kinda there. It was more like a 1v1 with Deku vs Overhaul

@@justin_g6187 She had her legs planted perfectly. Gigantomachia was trying to move forward so he had to lift one leg at a time. Giving him less force to work with.
... To be fair though she did not hold him for long 😅

7:27 Todoroki and Bakugo are great examples of this, there’s a low chance that when two quirk users mate that the offspring will have a combination of their quirks. Todoroki is the only of his siblings to possess both his mothers ice quirk and his fathers fire quirk. The quirks of Bakugos parents are explosion and acid sweat respectively, that combines into Bakugo’s quirk which allows him to sweat nitroglycerin and then ignite it.
Oh trust me, endeavor gets a really got redemption arc, the video you watch only scratches the surface of Endeavors journey towards atonement thruought the whole series.
In terms of a person he isn't the greatest but in terms of character and character writing he becomes one of the best in the series.
Yea he was abusive but I never take things like that too personally when it comes to anime.

I actually just rewatched that episode last night and Endeavor admits that he went a bit crazy trying to make up for the drawback to his own VERY powerful quirk, which is that his body can get overheated and shut down. We saw this when Midoriya was fighting Todroki as well, he noticed that Todoroki was slowing down because he was getting too cold. That's why he encouraged him to use his "left side" because he was concerned about him.
Allow me to correct you, Endeavour WAS not of the greatest person to be around with, but now he shows nothing but self sacrifice and care for his students and his son
7:24 I always thought that Bakugou and Uraraka should combine their quirks, Endevour already told Bakugou that he is kinda slow because he has to wait a bit between explosions, but imagine him going full speed with the zero gravity of Uraraka, they could become a literal rocket!
for endeavor I say you can't forgive him but you can understand and accept that he is trying to become better than what he used to be
I have watched all of the anime, movies included and yes Bakugo is by far my favorite character as well

I understand the hate you feel, Endeavor was litteraly the worst type of person you could ever see, but his redemption arc show you that he don´t ask anyone to forget who he was, but to give him a chance because the one that hate what he used to be the most is Endeavor itself

I very much believe that the reason it’s called Detroit smash, is because the author of my hero academia adores America, so he decided to give all of All Might’s/Deku’s moves, a name of an American state. It’s also why All Might is dressed in red, white, and blue. Some of these characters are even inspired by marvel characters, like one of Deku‘s quirks that behave like Spider-Man’s web power. Horikoshi (the author) is a big fan of Marvel.
whats really cool is that at some point recently: All Might (post becoming teacher, pre-all for one fight) makes a cameo in a Deadpool comic and 1 shots infinity gauntlet Thanos...
You need to watch mha to like Endeavour, he really changed, he is not the same as before, my hero academia has one of the best character building in all anime

In mha people can "combine" quirks. That is basically Todoroki, he is half fire and half ice. In the mha universe they would call it a quirk marriage and those tend to be frowned upon. I believe technically bakugo's quirk is a combined one as well since it is a nitroglycerin sweat quirk and a sparking quirk.

1:34 during the arc in question they were taking an exam to determine if they could get provisional licenses to perform hero work. Gang Orca and his entire agency is a hero who is very tough and was asked to show up and play a villian during the exam this is because hes considered the hero who is most mistaken for a villain due to his appearance. he arrives at the exam location (a mock up of small section of city to act as something the students would have to act in a way to if not defeat, at least limit the destruction hes causing as a means to determine if they were fit to get their licenses in the first place.
7:42 theres 2 instances of that question actually happening outright, 1 is Todoroki: his powers is litterally half his body is able to produce Ice, the other Half produces Flames. a 2nd instance is actually shown in this video early on: Todoroki and another character are basically paralyzed, the other character has the ability to control wind/air the 2 combine their abilities to entrap Gang Orca in a flaming tornado that nearly entirely knocks the man out. so yes its possible to combine quirks, both from 2 different people, as well as to have 2 effects in the same quirk (the 1st instance is due to breeding though)
also: you really should just watch the show.... seriously. if your enjoying these clips youll enjoy the show.
Once it got to the #2 spot, I was really hoping that Bakugou and Deku vs Nine would be #1. Very happy it was, definitely one of the best fight scenes of all the animes I watch.

I was going to be pissed if they didn't have Deku and Bakugo vs. Nine if this is listing team fights. Because that was an AMAZING team up even before the quirk transfer!
