Love it, so much! I wonder if that epoxy would work well in my part of Texas…🤔

Beautiful!! I got Mr.Nola’s speed dry epoxy thanks to your recommendation. I love it! Only issue is that I only can do 2 cups at the time. I have to figure out how to work with the thick epoxy because I’ve gotten uneven coat. As per your advice I’ll torch it more and massage the epoxy to see if I get the fabulous results. Thanks!

I also find that setting it in some warm water also helps make it easier to mix. It thins it out a little. Just be mindful that that will speed up your work time once it’s combined.

No ma’am. I let it dry completely and it stays put when the epoxy hits it.

When I make epoxy glitter tumblers. The glitter seems really patchy. Is it normal to do more than one coat? Would it be better for me to use modge podge or epoxy to adhere the glitter?

Mod podge vs epoxy method is a personal preference. I like epoxy method more, you only need a very very little bit. Im heavy handed and find brushstrokes in my work when I do the mod podge method.
For it looking patchy, that can happen for a few reasons.
      1. Too much or uneven amounts of adhesive. Glitter will soak into areas that are super wet and lay a little more flat. This will make some areas to look flat and others (with less epoxy) to look more sparkly.
      2. Lack of a base coat. Giving your glitter a good paint base coat of the color glitter you are using will give a little more forgiveness to how much glitter you need and will also help play off areas where the glitter may have laid a little more flat from the application method.
Some people do like to do a second coat of Glitter but I find that as long as I have a good even painted base, of same color, I only need one layer of glitter.
