I love watching this channel with all the steel origami that is created. It's just such an amazing skill to have and watch. Thank you for sharing with us all.
Amazing work. 3 layers of metal to repair/replace at the back of the sill/rocker area. That crazy. I hope Colin takes really good care of this car once its finished. I seriously miss my 1988 E30 325is. I lost it due to an imbecile in a truck running a red light in 2017.
Excellent craftsmanship, shame no one sees your hard work once the steel is protected and car complete as you will never tell there was a repair, your work is seamless 🔥
FREE! Ok, that absolutely changes the equation. I can’t ever get ANYTHING for free, even from my wife. And truly, thank you for sharing. I find watching so relaxing.
Oh joy! Saved me from listening about shopping lists, trousers in the wash, chopping wood, and painting ceilings. If this keeps up i am going to nominate you guys for the Nobel Peace Prize. Another video knocking problems out of the park! Fantastic.
Hi Steve, I love your tutorials, you make it look so easy! Please keep up the great content for those of us wanting to do our own repairs these types of videos really help me overcome the issues I’m bound to face. Thanks again. Steve.
With the level of craftsmanship you have put into Colin Furze's car makes me wish I had a driving license and the money to pay you to build my dream restomod classic Volkswagen beetle.
You guys are all artists with your metalwork! Super jealous of your vast array of skills and equipment as I try my best to copy your work with blocks of wood and hammers on the floor fabricating inner sill sections for my MX5!
Really awesome that you show how to form those parts and how to think about recreating such complicated shapes. Although this is not anything useful for my work/day to day life, the process of thinking about flat to shape conversion will probably be useful someday! Thanks for sharing!
Great work on those panels Steve !! , I'm nearly 57 and going deaf alarmingly quickly please wear ear protection when using a grinder , even just some noise cancelling headphones to knock the edges off those Db's
Really like your videos, after looking at the rust in the BMW's you are doing, i will never complain about welding Transits again lol, keep up the excellent videos.
Just wished that the music wasn't as intrusive, perhaps more background if none at all.. love this channel, I used to run a classic Mini restorer in the 80's
It's great to see close up video of perfect MIG welding. I bought a MIG welder from Halfords years ago and tried to weld up the sills of a rusty Mini with awful results.
Nicely coming on, Colin will be pleased with his new car lol. I love watching you at work, making those bits of panels as you make ut look so easy. Where's the mk1 RS2000 gone? Not seen you on it for ages ❤
Amazing & enthrawling as ever. I can watch you working metal endlessly it is such a great skill. You have inspired me to have a go, but I don't have enough years left in me to even reach 10% of your talent. Thank you so much for sharing it with us, and I love the gems of information that you impart to us as you do things. Just a quick question, what is in the leather cusion you use to work metal on sometimes. Is it sand or something similar. Please keep up the brilliant work and great videos. Thanks to all of you.
Sorry to ask about another car but did you deal with the roof drain lines when you repaired the silver Miata the other year. Wish you were state side….great work!
Maybe a stupid question but why don't you replace two thin overlapping pieces of sheet metal like on 4:20 not with one piece of thicker material? That would prevent rust in between these parts. BUT probably welding these two pieces onto this thicker part will create another problem, am i right? Thanks for all the explanations, it gives more insight on why and how you do what you do (even if you make a small mistake, but hey: shows you're human). I have never realized how much work goes into 'just a stupid bulge' which i would sooo have taken for granted or even overlooked when looking at a car. On 10:09 i see another marvel of BMW's E30: a M3, Nice!!! I am looking forward to some video's on this legendary car, just like videos on the E3
Can i ask why you dont fully strip the car and sandblast the whole bottom? No hate implied just curious. Me and a friend did that and it saved us a ton of time but it was a Citroën Saxo so it was cheep to get parts and steel was cheaper then too. would love to know why you do it this way if you have time/feel like talking about it, if not no worrys loving the vids thx for all the great work.
In another videos comments I'm pretty sure they said they don't have one. So they either need more views here and/or a sponsor to give them one. Either way, I absolutely agree.
How does a bmw e3 get so much rust? No maintenance? No inspections/MoT? If was ever involved in a crash it would have been written off. On the other hand the craftsman skills are high level and if my car was damaged they would be my first pick. But I’m in Australia so cost might be an issue😂
loving the attention you paying to my car, its very much appreciated.
Thank you Colin it's going to eventually be a superb car again 😁
It's looking nucking futs Colin! Well done guys, amazeballs workmanship! 😍
Did you mention what colour you're painting it Colin?
You should be there watching, in person, with free beer and food.
It’s a work of art, those repairs!
This channel’s view count does not reflect the quality of the videos. I really look forward to seeing you guys pop-up in my feed. Keep it up! 😊
thank you :) we will continue to work on gaining subs :)
10,000 in 4 hrs ain’t bad mate. Gotta admit though, when one pops up in my feed I drop everything! 😂
Poetry in motion!
You're right up there with Rembrandt, Picasso, Monet and all the other great artists Steve!
Haha thank you :)
I love watching this channel with all the steel origami that is created. It's just such an amazing skill to have and watch. Thank you for sharing with us all.
"Steel origami" That's the coolest acronym I've ever read on rust repair!! 😁
Amazing work. 3 layers of metal to repair/replace at the back of the sill/rocker area.
That crazy. I hope Colin takes really good care of this car once its finished. I seriously miss my 1988 E30 325is. I lost it due to an imbecile in a truck running a red light in 2017.
That's way beyond craftsmanship, I'd rather call it art - thanks for sharing with us and all the best wishes from Croatia 💪
Gobsmacking! You make the complicated look so easy!
As always, professional and perfectly accurate work, I love your videos, they are full of humor and true professionalism. Ivan.
We're getting close to "BMW of Theseus" territory here.
Lovely work as always!
I'm always deeply impressed at the skill these guy display, especially when fabricating a part.
Very creative Steve. I like how you explained the how and why before showing us....Bloody epic TBH....🤔😳😏🇬🇧
Oh joy! Saved me from listening about shopping lists, trousers in the wash, chopping wood, and painting ceilings. If this keeps up i am going to nominate you guys for the Nobel Peace Prize. Another video knocking problems out of the park! Fantastic.
Listening to who?
@@smashyrashy the one who must be obeyed.
Lovely work! I love it when you show the old part next to the replacement when it’s made. Something very satisfying about it!
Your fabrication skills are amazing.
Thank you very much!
Absolutely brilliant! I find everything you do pretty impressive, but for me, that was off the scale👍
Steve, you have some crazy skills & it's a genuine pleasure to watch you handcrafting these complex pieces. Keel up the great work! 👍🔥👍
You, sir, are a master at your craft. Thanks for sharing.
Well done Steve art work comes in many forms this is definitely one of them. Can't wait to get back in the garage
Love the E30's, you're doing proper work. Love seeing AND learning from you :)
Absolutely amazing how you made these panels so easily
Hi Steve, I love your tutorials, you make it look so easy! Please keep up the great content for those of us wanting to do our own repairs these types of videos really help me overcome the issues I’m bound to face. Thanks again. Steve.
With the level of craftsmanship you have put into Colin Furze's car makes me wish I had a driving license and the money to pay you to build my dream restomod classic Volkswagen beetle.
It will remain a dream then
You will get there. Definitely. You just have to want it enough
That's a outstanding job 👏 Steve, excellent job 👏 buddy..
You are an exceptional artist, great watching you create so many solutions.
Thank you! Cheers!
You guys are all artists with your metalwork! Super jealous of your vast array of skills and equipment as I try my best to copy your work with blocks of wood and hammers on the floor fabricating inner sill sections for my MX5!
How fun getting to work with your father and son. Cherish the time. Thank you for sharing!
Would just like to point out how good it is to see clean tidy and well maintained work surfaces. Very tidy and clean work a joy to watch
Great skill shown in a down to earth way…… great video guys
Great, Scott!!! I finally figured you out! You are a BMW surgeon!!! lol
As impressive as ever, a proper artist in metal 👌
Ineresting seeing how you approach different sheet metal forms/shapes to duplicate them, learning from your videos.
Keep on cracking on Steve!
Great work Steve. It’s always amazing seeing you guys making this stuff and showing us the process.
Amazing skills Steve that inner section was fiddly! Great job
Love just watching you work mate, such craftsmanship nice work. ❤

Nicely coming on, Colin will be pleased with his new car lol. I love watching you at work, making those bits of panels as you make ut look so easy. Where's the mk1 RS2000 gone? Not seen you on it for ages ❤
Steveo - you're an artist. Well done. Now lets get back on that RS2000. Dribk up that Yorkshire tea, grab some tewels and crack on !

07:55 love the way you wear the mask but with the safety visor up! I’d probably do the same!
Subscribe everyone! These guys work hard and produce amazing work….
Thank you we really appreciate it :)
Great fab as usual.
Are you no longer sponsored by UPol. I was looking forward to seeing you spray a tintable bed liner on one of the cars?
God you guys do good work!
Fantastic work! How do you store and manage displaced parts to ensure they go back on the correct car?
Sorry to ask about another car but did you deal with the roof drain lines when you repaired the silver Miata the other year. Wish you were state side….great work!
Yes all sorted :)
Hi Steve, top work!! what tin Snips are you using, I need to get me some. Thanks.

ahhh makes sence thx for the reply@@bromero88
How long did that one peice actually take to fabricate? Really clever and spot on job
How many hours would that repair have taken? Gday from Australia mate keep up the excellent work 👍
What plate thickness are you using? 0,9mm?
What is the brand/spray you use on the metal after grinded it down? :)
Is 125mm or 115mm better for you when you are cutting ?
Steve, don't offer your lungs, if you are an organ donor 😂😂😂
Nice the rust dust on the other cars..
Thank you :)
I wish you could pass on your skill, talent and passion to younger generations.

Thank you :)
don’t understand why it’s not stripped to a shell and at least all the mud washed off before starting work?
Very nice,😎😎😎👍👍👍
I have one simple request, sir. Please share your music library with Ryan.
How’s it going fellas hope your all well ! 🇬🇧👍🏻😉
Hi yes we are good thank you :)
I have run out of superlatives to describe the work carried out by Y.C.R.
Get a gaurd on that grinder 🫣😂
