Oklahomas 1st road game of the season 1st trip to Jordan-Hare, rebuilt OL on the road for the 1st time blocking for a rookie QB making his 1st career road start against a very experienced Auburn team.
I think Auburn goes into Georgia undefeated cuz the SEC did OU no favors with that scheduling.

Can't ask freshman receivers to be all world this year. Especially when quarterback play is suspect. 6-6 this season.
Fairweather, Lewis, and KLS are all seniors and will be key pieces in the passing game. If Auburn only had Freshman I can see a path to 6-6 but that’s not the reality.
Auburns starters are middle tier across the board but I like the depth. Particularly, along the lines of scrimmage. Auburn fans don’t want to hear this but Freeze will hold Auburn back more than anything. He’s a good recruiter and program builder but he needs to get out of the way on game day. Auburn has a possible long term solution with Durkin at DC if Freeze will be loyal and Auburn will support him. Durkin is a good DC who has practically no shot at a major HC job and is looking for a long term home. Freeze took the failure of hiring a fraud like Phillip Montgomery to mean he needed to take over the offense. He should have gone out and gotten a young innovative OC instead of overpaying his buddy to recruit.
You’re right, us Auburn fans don’t want to hear that. That’s a nonsensical take. What’s the basis behind saying Hugh Freeze’s play calling is going to hold Auburn back?
The only spark Auburn had last year was when Hugh called the plays. Besides that Derek Nix was his first choice for OC last year but couldn't get it worked out. He has his guy now
