I was playing as Mexico and had 3k bombers and went up against a Manchurian player that united China. My bombers barely taken any damage (max air tech) when I came across 6k AA. China dropped 12 million people because of the bombings alone and the entire country was engulfed in flames.

The soviets did not have a larger manpower than the germans until 1943.They also used deep operation as a tactic in case you did not know.

You could just try to advance at weaker points along flatter and easier to advance terrain, or use artillery and bombers to take them out.
