Was waiting for this. So the solver was calling most of the time with the pocket 7s. Amazing that these high stakes players have an intuitive sense of GTO. Great analysis, man. Love the video!
Happy to hear it thanks! :) They absolutely do have a great intuitive sense, but keep in mind that in reality ranges might very well look different and Tom was probably thinking about the respective distributions. Whether 7s can shove or not basically depends on these factors: 1. Amount of KK in Doug's range 2. How many 22 bet this size OTR and call the jam 3. How many 6xdd and K6s combos raise the turn and overbet/call the river
If you remove KK and leave everything else the same, 7s become a clear call. In reality, it depends on multiple factors: 1. Amount of KK in range 2. How many 22 bet this size OTR and call the jam 3. How many 6xdd combos raise the turn and overbet/call the river
@2CardConfidence And the scary answer is we don't know for sure and this is a spot where one can lose a decent amount of money if they have incorrect assumptions. That being said I still lean shove against Doug.
Sick video 2CC. Saw those hands live, was very interesting to see them played out with players being so deep and so much money on the line. Wanted to ask, do you guys have a Discord to join potentially where hands can be exchanced or something similar! Keep up the work as always, loved it :)
I mean the turn size was pretty bad from a GTO perspective, and the river call is pretty bad considering it’s unlikely human players are flatting KK so often pre
To be completely honest, apart from stack size pressure, these are mediocre spots that nl25 players face and are able to react decently according to GTO.
He is a legend for sure, but that statement is just so normal? Like what did you find so bizarre in it lol, it’s ovsly never a fold so the question remains to shove or not to
Been waiting for the this vid! Interesting to see QQ calling more than KK in Dwan’s position at the end since it unblocks the bluffs

@@2CardConfidence doug showing wes was a factor here.
I’m curious how the sim for the first hand would change if you remove KK from Doug’s range (or only have it call the 3bet at ~10% frequency)

Just found your channel, love the content!
Happy to hear it, thank you!
do sims take ante into account? it's more like 250 bbs if you take all the dead money pre in
Yes, antes are included

Thanks a lot! :)
There's no Discord yet, it is on the list though! Might take some more time however, but I'll keep you posted :)
A 4-bet with 5,4s? We are a far ways from Harrington's Hold 'Em.
Harrington’s Hold ‘Em doesn’t consider 1000bb stacks
This is premium content and i feel lucky to be able to watch this for free.
Sincere cheers and thanks for your time. 💯😎
My pleasure, thanks a lot for your nice words :)
Don't hesitate to be aggressive when you have the cards.
Does the solver fold QQ on the turn some percentage of the time there?
I know Tom Dwan looks at solvers but its insane that in situations he obviously has never ran through a solver...he basically plays GTO.
It's insane but to be expected. This is what mastery looks like, it's magical to those who don't know

A set or QQ arent facing the most complicated spots here

tom dwan og goat
Tom has just become my favorite player, an actual fucking psychopath. “I’m calling, the question is if I’m shoving the river.” Absolute chad shit.

wouldnt be the solvers choice are you blind? 0.0004 go hard
those graphs make poker boring
you can choose not to watch those graphs
