However, in this day and age we are blessed to have foods that we can use to make cooking meals easier, and less time consuming. Hi when adding ur flour to the gravy drippings does it start getting lumpy? I find mind gets lumpy! I do mind with corn starch & water separately Can u tell What I can do differently with making it with flour???
When cleaning flour alway use cold water to wash the dishes counters hands 1st then u can clean it with hot soapy water cuz hot makes a mess cold is best to start with
For your biscuit dough you said 1 stick of butter in the recipe. You said you doubled your batch but still only used 1 stick of butter. So is a standard batch 1/2 stick of butter or did you purposely leave your second stick out?
Can you explain your measurements? I know you say that you double the ingredients, but it doesn't seem like you doubled everything. I feel like you missed a stick of butter in your dough. The tool you used to clean your counter is a bench scraper... 🤣😂 By not cooking your eggs all the way before adding to your gravy probably thickened your gravy...
A roux is equal parts fat and flour. What you made was a slurry. A completely different thickening method that won’t cook out the floor so the gravy is going to taste like raw flour.
Why on earth are you writing a cook book? Yes, I do watch your channel on occasion, but when I see you shopping, I am aghast to see what you depict as ingredients for good home made food! Please Dont think I am not a fan. I am at times but a cook you are not. Very good at building your bank balance though…
