Yes the IL-62 is a highlight. I never realised that Aeroflot ever operated to Australia. The old Thai DC10 and the Qantas 747-200 bring back memories too. I am from the UK. First time I ever flew into S YD was on CX101 from HKG in April 1978 - Boeing 707 operated!
From memory I think Aeroflot flew both the Il-62 and A310 into Sydney for a short time in the 90's. The Thai aircraft's an MD-11! I never managed a 707 flight:(
