- So I had some footage from when we applied the custom ZEWSPEED graphics onto the car, and recently I met up with Ben and went for a little spin round the block. I can assure you all this thing is an absolute riot - and this was just on the low boost setting!!!

More than enough power with 350bhp, might of been better with smaller turbo which might make it bit more controllable.
I might add, thought it was sketchy going through town, save that for the out of town deristricted roads!!
yer totally agree, less is sometime more. and yer roads were a little too busy. need to get it out on a track day and turn up the boost.
I know that I said that I was looking forward to seeing this beast finished but oh my god is it every bit as mental as I imagined that it would be. Freaking awesome job 👌

This is a real Group B maybe dangerous if the engine explodes on the driver's back. I did not notice in the video what gearbox and how the gearshift was implemented.

From Slough at any time in its life? Looks alot like one of my old ones from the 90s same wheels and side graphics I had MK2 doors though one p windows
Jesse James inc it had a few owners before Ben bought it. Not sure if it was ever in Slough. Barry Lynch built it originally with the bike engine in the back.
I'm thinking way before the rear swaps early 90s even the plates familiar..

Thought I recognised that car... It's a great build, but seriously he needs to calm down on the residential roads. Especially considering my old dear and younger sister got hit by a speeding car along one of those roads. Would be interesting to see what it does around a track.

I dont think it on the wrong way? yer said from the beginning it needed arch liners especially if it ever ends up driving in the rain.

yer il be honest I was a little gutted to see it for sale. I think its more to fund his next mk2 escort project. But it would have been cool to see this out and about first, hopefully the next owner enjoys it as much as Ben has.

yer the vinyl guys at work would have done it all in half the time. no water needed. Im not that confident with it yet. water means it have half a chance of adjusting it

I said from the get go this car doesn't need that power. the whole time we were out in it it was 320HP and that is more than enough to get you into trouble. Id really like to see It out on a track day to see how it actually handles. blasting about on the roads isnt really ideal.
