Minor SPOILER I was hoping for that Vincent would do the Théoden speech: Forth and fear no darkness, arise, arise riders of Vincent. Spears shall be shaken, shields shall be splintered etc.
Neal deserved that joke about them making an elaborate plan to steal one horse. He is so fucking unreasonable with NPC personalities. That was a sound plan and any guard captain would listen or at least send one of his own riders. I can see why Vincent so often has to take his glove out now. And why they get into so many battles. Most of the time the party just handles it badly but there was NO reason the guy wouldn't listen and send out his own rider
Pete Blades Well... the party has never seen anyone else in a wizard shop, so i think Neal has thought of all this... Thats just how he wants his universe to be... We dont yell at Tolkien for making the ring undestructible unless you use that one mountains lava, we accept that he needs the universe to be like that to make his stories come to life... I think we should accept Neals needs aswell.... And if you ask him im sure he is gonna explain why, he is usually very smart and well thought out about these kinda stuff i think
+Jeremy R Not to mention, just looking at the party you would be able to tell they're clearly well armed and seasoned adventurers, for them to offer to take a single horse and scout despite everyone throwing their hands up in panic, and then to assume they want to steal a single horse, pretty sure neal said this town was at least five thousand or so large in population (Don't even get me started on how they apparently only have like twenty or less guards during the actual fight) so to lose one horse wouldnt even be an issue, they didn't use the horses in the coming battle either so to say "We need all of our horses here" Why? for what reason? any captain would surely take the risk of a band of adventurers stealing one horse over helping them help defend an entire town.
The guy has a point. Giants are about to siege a city and they have no idea from where or numbers, the whole city is panicked, so the volunteers ask for a single horse to scout and they are shit on like a tramp pissing on the Kings shoes.
It's probably been cleared up by now, but the new Killer Instinct won't be free to play. Kinda. There will be an F2P version, but there will also be a full retail version with all the characters. So yeah.
If you think about it fro the millitary point of view then it makes perfect sense. He wouldn't give four strangers a military horse in order to run up and down the road. Even for gold.
Good thing that i don't respect your opinion, i'll be checking it out when i catch up to Rollplay, which might take a long while, as i am doing it sloooowly.
Yeah. Those scabbards that slingshot you a zillion miles per hour, the wangsty teenage drama, all the exciting bits getting cut out in favor of some more wangst. It's just like AoT.
It seems as if you have been 3 hours ahead of me through all of the Rollplay videos....This is weird. It's like I'm stalking you through the Internet. Also Imperial Guard is the best followed by the mechanicus.
Your argument is based on the assumption of understanding the relationship dynamic of a group that you are not personally involved in, which is silly and immature. I've simply tried to point that out by providing an alternate view, based on logic. However, since you want a response: Each player is harassed when they do something dumb. Geoff has openly mocked Neal, for example. The difference is, actually, that Gen tends to not participate in the, what I propose to be, friendly banter.
So basically you would have acted like a child who didn't get a candy bar at the grocery story and pitched a hissy fit? You're not looking at this from the perspective of the guard at all. Think about it like this if three random strangers came up to you and said "Hey let us borrow your car" would you hand the keys over? A horse was a valuable creature back then, especially in small towns and cities where they were few and far between. Why risk losing the horse in some fool attempt at scouting?
JP... is a pretty nice guy. He's just joking around with his friends. If you're talking about his character he's playing an EVIL wizard. Do you not understand the concept of roleplaying?
It's pretty immature to assume that, based purely on your observations and interpretations, you know the dynamic and relationship between two people. I have said things to my friends that would sound absolutely awful to anyone outside of the relationship. It's also perfectly logical to assume that he was being facetious when he commented that Gen was a "fake nerd." I suggest you take a moment to jump down off your horse. Take care not to hurt yourself, though, the horse seems pretty high up.
Negative. I want a DM that crates an interesting and challenging game where, realistically, my character may not be in full control. DM's shouldn't be holding the players hand, giving them what they want all the time.
It's sad, because you think you're really clever and the reality is that you've missed the point completely. I didn't not claim that he was, in fact, being facetious. What I did do was offer a logical alternative view on the situation. The ironic part about it is that you once again assumed that your, blatantly, incorrect interpretation of my comment was absolute fact. Regardless, your argument is unfocused, at best. You've simply proven that you are incapable of seeing other view points, twice.
Minor SPOILER

I was wondering through the internet one day and somehow got onto their stream of this episode.
Hooked ever since.
The feared archer aka Bregor the bane of bows.
Wow that's a lot of pain coming their way, this is going to be epic!
I could answer that in one word. EVERYTHING. It is a living hell during your first few times DMing. At least in my experience.

I'm sure they'll get around to it. Intro videos actually take time to make.
On twitch, I think neals stream is called koibu, that's were you'll find the VODs of his Mafia series and cartography AND probably misclicks.
Geof's reaction for the game was EPIC
"He pulled something out of his pants, what was it?"
"...It's a rod..."
"I grab it."
XD

Just'as Aguas? Is that elvish for Justar's Bay? Curious.
*Águas* translates to *waters*. It's Port.
Hill giant ninjas... I'm terrified.
Lmfao "Don't Drop Your Pen" ahahahahahaha
I like JPs new chara but I'm still having some effects similiar to when your favorite band gets a new guitarist or something.
actually the chick from rollplay will be the one streaming it, it was her idea I beleive and is the one organizing it.
wiser words were never spoken
Geoff knows where it's at. All about that SNES black cartridge. I still have mine.
Damn I really wish I could've seen this live, the whole part about hasting the children made me laugh harder than I have in a long time
Nice work JP! You have managed to play the same character as a human wizard!
its the famous show with your DM Pimperneal!
thats what i thought of too. Though they dont have a colossus one. But on the other hand they do have a very tiny leader :P
Haste spell and children is ingenious!
"i dont think there will be traps in the forest bregor" no why whould they, we know that all the traps are under water
"And you hear them say,
'Row, you bitches! Row!'"
I fell out of my chair then.
Banon has only really been around a week, would be suprised if he had fan-art of him already.
If you think about it fro the millitary point of view then it makes perfect sense. He wouldn't give four strangers a military horse in order to run up and down the road. Even for gold.
I'm not sure how to feel about how I laughed at the idea of a child army
Good thing that i don't respect your opinion, i'll be checking it out when i catch up to Rollplay, which might take a long while, as i am doing it sloooowly.
"c-c-c-combo breaker" aaaaaaand I'm a child again.
im sure hes having the person that made it remake the intro for his character and his name
An immense amount of work. Put a post up on roll20 forums, alot of DMs there could give you a hand
I should really comment after I've listened to the entire episode.
Yeah I was wondering about that too. Maybe he just needs some artwork.
no wonder vincent got sent outside of his kingdom to prove himself. he's a pissy entitled noble through and through
Wasn't the lighthouse keeper riding off to warn the town? Why do the players need to warn the town a second time?
Still watching, but hoping they will lightning rod the ship
Where are Neal's other shows located? Just wondering because I am interested, but they don't really say in the video...
Oh my gods I am through the halfway point!
I could probably find it but for those of us who are lazy, where on earth can i watch Neal's shows?
23:20 JP cracked me up right here
Patience, my friend. These things take time, and good art.
Oh! I know what you were talking about! He meant in game year, not real life
Nineteen weeks = nearly 5 months
Nah, you'll catch up, i go slowly as i play something while listening so i have to roll back when i miss a part when concentrating too hard.
Not every exact week sure, but the difference couldn't be more then a month.
Protect Wall Maria!
They haven't done a show yet.
That hasting children killed meXD
Geoff with the pro derail.
I love all of you.
it didn't start yet i guess...
18:15 Monty Python reference's are the best
giant ninjas, hahaha
Ha related videos: Braveheart Freedom Speech
where can i find videos of Missclicks D&D?
because there is no way to heal this party wont last very much longer
You should have stopped it when bregor said: Lets find out.
where can i watch the missclicks DND stuff?
Gen's Pirate edition D&D
Dat Monty python reference Geoff :D
hilarious episode rofl
So, if Tudagub is dead, perhaps you should replace JP's intro Avatar/Name?
When they talk about the giants I can only think about attack on titan
They need some new fan art for that
hill giant ninjas!
gET the books learn the rules and play, every DM is different, you need to DM in your style, that is part of the game
What a stupid town guard Captain. As mercenaries, they should have just left the town to fight for themselves.
Preach
or he could play them so its actually fun
but tudagub is in they hearts
if only the walls where made of hill giants
Yeah. Those scabbards that slingshot you a zillion miles per hour, the wangsty teenage drama, all the exciting bits getting cut out in favor of some more wangst. It's just like AoT.
Apart from the whole brain thing =D

1:21 I can and I will heh heh heh.
the artist must not have dun it yet
Neal if you read this please contact me , id like to get into D&D with a group of friends but i have no clue about what a dm has to do. Thanks :).
yaay another large ball of my favorite meth
Another D&D party, check neals twitch:)
Better than my idea of bringing a school of children taught magic missile spell.
I laughed my ass off when abigael said that the guards will probably be useless. The irony of that statement was baffling.
That slapping is starting to become a psychologically abusive thing...
Tuda-butt 4 life.
How can gen be so dumb And so cute at the same time

If only they had their 3D movement gear...
yeah i actually think he's way nicer than he has to be to the group. the group is shitting around ALOT. just imagine the chars as real people.
Thumbs up the video, or you will drop your bow.

Somebody watched attack on titan.
Geoff just teaching Neil how to advertise his shit in the beginning. So disorienting watching Neil be taught something on this show...
missclicks?

I'm glad you're not my DM.
