This car handles so well and with a 1.5 tsi stage 1 it's gonna be seriously quick
Love your videos! Great job
100km/h in second gear? Damn
I have a manual audi a3 with the 1.5 but it doesnt let me change gears that fast.. It is weird..
1.5 evo engine now officially delisted from the range.
Aleksandr Korshuk it's not it's new
It's discontinued indeed and I'm finding it quite difficult to find one in the 2nd hand market here in Spain.
brtmn not sure if that’s a good idea though. 1.5 engine has only been on sale for like a few months and then it suddenly disappeared from the price lists. One can of course argue that VW felt like 1.5 Ibiza would be too close for Leon’s comfort. Or that it would compete for buyers with Polo GTi. Both points are valid, but then again executives forecast things like these before they launch a vehicle, not after. They are getting paid fortunes to do this. So even thought I can be wrong I’m am still convinced that reason for cancelation was actually related to the car itself.
@@aleksandrk9452 I've read Seat is expecting to cease the production of Ibizas and Aronas with diesel engines, and that the 1.5 tsi may come back in late 2020. Let's see...
Not bad! Without DSG
EVO PowerArt?? Sounds familiar (Mitsubishi EVO Rally Art)... Traction per weight is super super slow.
Sawomann.. How does it feel, is it actually fast and fresh, or in other words: is it the 5-6k Euro extra worth from the 1.0 engine? ;)
The Ibiza 1.5 TSI feels much more grown up than the entry level models. If you mostly plan to use the car in the city, the 1.0 TSI with 95 or 115 HP will be enough. If I had the choice, I would go for the 1.5 TSI. The performance is fun and it runs very smooth. Fuel consumption is all right too.
Mwha, I drove both. I bought the 1.0 TSI 115hp instead of the 1.5 TSI. Because it wasn't worth the 5k. Besides, the 3 cylinder sounds waaaaay better
why such a big diference in price where i am from the ibiza fr with 115 hp is 15 100 euro and the 150hp is 15580
exactly bought mine 1.5 full extra except sunroof for 18500 while if i had picked the 1.0 dsg 115hp i would cost me just 900euro less
A P and George Pliako In my country the 1.0 tsi with the "FR-package" and DSG goes with: 29.350 euro. The 1.5 with the same package + DSG and further more some details like the back-camera goes with: 32.900 euro. I bought a "demo" version of the 1.5 with everything in it with 3.000 km on the clock from march this year for 29.000.. It should have cost me with all the picks from the extra-equipment list 34.800 euro, so that was a fair price. ;)
ASR noch an?
8.1 👍
When will there be a remap available :-(
Lawn Mowers & Things That Make Noise remap is available takes it to 197hp and 250lb
shame the gear ratios are so long. It's not exactly revving happy.
1st gear 36mph, 2nd gear 62mph, 3 gear 99mph. Not really that long gearing
I think he is talking about the split.
@@dildoshwaggins1017
exactly. It almost take 20s to hit 6000 rpm in 3rd gear which is definitely not quick considering it has 150 HP.
Shorter gear ratio are on dsg option! Pay for it and your problm eas solved. ;)
Maarten van Venrooij dude it’s only 150 hp, ratio looks great on this car
It’s not a diesel lmao..
People are doing 18,5 for 100 mph all day long with this model. Wind maybe? Or the 18 inchers?
yeah it looks more like 125hp-ish. not much difference to the 115hp 1.0. normally the engine is quite quick in the light ibiza.
@@Digi20 Just bad driving. I actually bought the same car. It's much faster than here. 17 inch wheels. Dynometer showed 165 hp.
more like it need to learn more mate
1.5 Turbo Stratified Injection Evolution Formula Racing xD
Don't mess with it, it's a race car! xD
I think this car needs dsg.
@@cds401 not long ago 150hp means Ford Fiesta ST or Polo GTI !!!
I think this engine is not available anymore.
The new 1.5 TSI sounds better than vacuum cleaner 1.4 TSI.
but little bit slower
ruclips.net/video/UK_mBhe_ry0/видео.html
More like 8,8 to be realistic...GPS time 100km it is something like 103-105km.
Fabia with 1.2Tsi (110ps) makes 0-160 in 24 sec... i would expect to have more performance but i think you need DSG
Ahmet Korkmaz New cars are heavier than older versions and much bigger too.
That's the reason why cars like the ibiza in this video, when even more powerfull than the older versions, its accelerations are like the same or even worst...
Wtf your running it with hand brake on?
This isn't A handbrake. This is front assist
was erwartest du von nem 1.5 liter.....
So glad I have an 04 FR.. these newer ones are gutless! No mid range torque and generally die after 3rd gear!
not me! I've got the 1.8 tsi Cupra and it's torque city!
My own stock Ibiza 1.4 tfsi with DSG does the same in only 7.1 to 7.5 seconds.. but yes, it has got DSG, so..
tfsi yes sure.
Your old ibiza is slower in gear. And this one has a built in limiter so it won't rev past 4000 rpm from start. And with a slightly longer 2nd and 3rd gear you would see even lower times. See how it stalls exactly before 160 to change a gear.
They are diferent models of Ibiza, also I think newer are a bit slow due the filters that they have because of emisions
My 1.4 tsi 150ps superb does 0-100 km/h in 8.2 I don't know how it is that slow it is an ibiza should have been around 7.5 7.4s
Should be ok after a remap.
I have one much faster on quarter tank of fuel
Sounds quite aggressive haha
With full tank is not a good try!!
Jesus Sanchez doesnt change that much, fuel tank is something like 45L but gasoline weights only 750g/L
Definitely fast for 150 horse p.
John iNeewZ a 2.2 cdi 150 hp would destroy this
@@norimeshau7638 make a video to destroy this! Kkkk
Suzuki Swift Sport have less HP and its faster
@@pawballer1964 960kg vs 1220kg........
@@pawballer1964 it's not and in gear the Ibiza would kick the Swift Sport
it doesnt even look faster than 1.2 tsi at high speeds. after 120 i would say its a tie
0:17 - 0:26 Not very impressed tbh.
It's a 1.5
It's leon fr
Sad
Manual shifter. Tras
And as always, stupidly long gear ratios....
Fuel consuption is smaller for daily driving
its no race car and you can have 7 speed dsg...
Pay for dsg option and your problm is solved
Ok so what's the verdict? The verdict is that acceleration is the same as it would have a 150hp much simplier atmoshperic motor, for example 2.0 16v, which has way less torque and at higher rpm. So what's the sense with the tsi? Save 25% of fuel but then become garbage after 100000 km...
ILLYA N we have these TSIs and 3 cylinders these days because of the ridiculous pollution norms imposed by WLTP.
Mi Ibiza fr 20vt con 180.000km acelera más rápido
Te digo yo que no
Kkkkk
0 - 200 2 weeks
Not too fast for light Ibiza
not too bad for 1.5 L 4 cylinder engine
Sou Eii my 1.4 4 cylinder czca 125hp stock and now Revo st1 160hp/260nm make it in 7,5sec, 1/4mile for 15.1sec. Seconds got not from timer on dashboard, but from Dragy. My car weight is 1300kg. Ibiza has smaller weight. I think problem is in 18inch wheels and manual gearbox
TurboPoloClub , just reconsider that all the new cars and those that are coming in produce have to balance between economy and performance. The main factor is to have almost same performance with less fuel consumption especially now with WLTP
TurboPoloClub no te lo crees ni tú
Sou Eii Only because it's turbocharged. Without it, even a Fiat Panda would beat it. You can see it's not that powerfull because after the 0-100 sprint it drasticly loses performance and doesn't build up speed that quickly anymore.
I myself drive a '02 106 GTi that accelerates faster after 100 then this Ibiza. Naturally aspirated FTW!
better old ibiza fr 6j dsg, acceleration 0/100 7.7s
This is why I never buy a manual over a DSG ...
I'll stick with the 1.8 TSi Cupra for now...it's visibly quicker than that 1.5
Sound like Fiat panda 🤣🤣🤣
What the fuck with these loooooooong gear ratio??? O_o
Rottame!
Slow gear change.
Swift Sport is faster 🤔
Very fast for a manual car
Mario Mario very slow for such a light car and for 150hp
Panagiotis Rafailidis blame the manual transmission and fwd....
Manual is best,I will never buy automatic...Its only for womens
Mario Mario Manuals are slow only when driven by people who don't know how to shift...
Slow 0-60 there
Robert Hrozencik its not
For 150hp its slow??
omg very slow for such a light car and for 1.5 150 hp
Sport car with 1,5l engine is called FR EVO?? For me this is like shit ;)
150cv? Ma dove! Sul libretto! Fake!
my honda is 125 hp and i faster
Pretty slow for 150ps and 1000 kilo
it doesn't weight just 1000 kilo, so don't talk shit
Ed # ix 1084kilo who is talking shit
this Ibiza 1.5 TSI weighs exactly 1184 kg you piece of rubbish
MsPietpaaltjes 1091 kg is the lightest Ibiza with the 1.0 engine with 65/75 hp. The 1.5 Ibiza weighs 1184 kg. Exactly how Ed # ix said!
MsPietpaaltjes
It weighs more than 1250kg with fluids and fuel, dumbass.
Honda 1.5T will destroy this one. Even sound is much better. This sounds like, no no don't push futher. It's hurting
Wtf is this? Learn how to shift gears.
pretty bad engine.
Yeah! And you are an expert about an engine that no one know pretty much about. You are great.
my old golf mk5 gt with 1.4 is faster.
My 98 Honda Civic goes faster for sure
Too slow for 150hp
I must be crazy to buy such trash ..
