Thank you for making these instructional videos. 🙂 I came here due to your visit of Brian Smith's live video where he completed his portion of the contest using the materials you sent. I am looking forward to seeing your response to the items he sent you as well as learning more about fly tying from your other videos. I have subscribed, tight lines to you.

A great mix of classics and new patterns. Using an offset glass bead was 3XC. Convenient. Consistent. Classic. The old method of using a coloured varnish or epoxy was so labour intensive and prone to variations. Here just have a range of beads and in the time you would have taken to complete a couple. You can now complete several dozen. Of exactly the sizes and profiles you need. With the further option of changing the bead colour for black, brown, claret, olive, orange, or yellow. Even use fluorescent bead and thread to target grayling. Choices are a tempting pleasure or curse. Just four bead sizes. Four hook sizes. Curved or straight hook shank. That is before you add colour into the mix. Six or eight of each type fills a lot of space in your collection.
