Fun fact for everyone the voice actor who played rayman was the original since Rayman 2 back in 1999, who ALSO plays Rabbid Mario! We had the hint of Rayman the entire time!!

Fun fact: when the first game was being developed, the Phantom was originally going to move on to different genres of music during his boss battle, but was scrapped due to it being difficult to pull off, so it was AWESOME to see them bring back that idea for the Rayman DLC!

I can't believe he schooled Rayman in the first song, but he really letted the entire group have it before the final phase, which is in his traditional suit. And I thought Mario had gotten roasted badly
What a sweet ending. I always hoped Rayman would befriend a rabbid or more and i got my wish.❤
Great dlc. The only drawback is that the story could be longer and fleshed out more but these dlcs aren't as long as the base games. Oh well. Its good for what it is. I'll take what i can get.

Its nice they brought back the old gimmicks from the first fight with phantom in the first mario + rabbids game

I love this ending, finally putting an end to rayman’s hatred against the rabbids (well for the most part) I was smiling all the way when Rayman and Rabbid Mario and Rabbid Peach exchanged gifts to each other and became friends, the first time Rayman put away his hatred against the Rabidds only for these two, it makes me very happy that this ending did Rayman and the Rabbid’s relationship some justice, this game is still going to be one of my favorite tactical RPGs of all time

If i had a nickle for every Mario + Rabbids crossover game with a downloadable content with the final boss being a boss from every area from the very first game coming back to take revange, i would have two nickles. Wich it isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. Right? Who's next? Iceckle Golem?

Who would have thought that Rayman became friends with the Rabbids, it is a new beginning of friendship with them, but not that he hated them?
I wonder if this means that ubisoft is finally going to make a new Rayman game in the future, I hope so, if not then Nintendo show buy the rights to the franchise, because at least they treat it better.

This DLC took place after Cursa's defeat.
Maybe one day ahead there may be a 3rd Mario & Rabbid game that may explain details like that and have reappearances and such.
an interesting ending, but it would’ve been cool if rayman actually meets mario. but whatever. good dlc nonetheless.

I found out about rayman 2 years ago and I really hope that this helps bring him back p.s is it me or does rayman look like a fraggle with no limbs.
His 3D and 2D games are definitely a must try! You will love him as a character.

Rayman and the Rabbids have history. The Rabbids made their first appearance as the antagonists of the game Rayman: Raving Rabbids. The game went on to have a couple of sequels, and the Rabbids were a MASSIVE pain in Rayman's butt throughout. Later, the Rabbids split off from Rayman into their own series.
In fact, the Phantom's song is pretty much a meta joke on how Rayman was overshadowed by the Rabbids. (Who thrived for many games, while Rayman himself faded into obscurity.)

They are throwing some SERIOUS shade at the Rayman Devs and Franchise in this, jesus christ.
I mean no lies were told.
The damn rabbids did wind up overshadowing his franchise completely for generations.
Its a shame because as far as mascot platformers go Rayman probably is my favorite, especially when Origins and Legends came out. The fast paced, diverse and challenging level designs trumped everything being dished out by competitors.
They were critically acclaimed too but no one actually bought em.

Too bad, I really expected Rayman and Mario meet up.
I was so excited when i saw Rayman being announced as a DLC in a game ive never played before, but when i actually tried it, i got so disappointed because of how slow and boring these games actually are...
Don't get me wrong, these kinda games are probably enjoyable for a lot of people but it really isn't my cup of tea, especially compared to how intense and fast paced Rayman games are.
On the bright side, this DLC opens up the possibility for a new Rayman adventure...
