I have watched this incident more than is thought be nesacary and I still dont no who's at fault,I would travel the planet to see both of these guy race they are both world class and apparently great friends anyway I may be wrong but for me there really wasn't any need for a racing incident, its fine for allard to hold his line nobody expects him to roll to bottom and leave the world open for pickens to pass but I think he closed the door and only needed to give pickens a rear tyres width more of racing room.
Much nicer track then in United States. Infield grass is nice. There are no illegal disposal of tractor tires to tear your car up or kill you. Tracks in the United States are paid to take the tires from a dealer. They breed mosquito, and have killed drivers.
Yeah in nz your not aloud to have tyres on the inside of the track because we have full contact classes and we run bikes on the same tracks most of the time so not having tyres is a no brainer
Old mate tried closing the door far too late, he was already alongside pal.
I bet there was a "discussion" in the pits after that move.
He had side position exiting the corner, then buddy came up on him 🤷♂️
Who is the announcer on this really ahh ahhh ahh
Phil ( in the ) Dark, NZ's worst motorsport commentator.
that would of been disappointing for Allard

If your blocking... your not racing🤭
