I have it. I got extremely lucky with the broomstick a few years back. Frankly I'm surprised they didn't patch it to the point that if you have a in your inventory it removes it.
Try this. Do the same method as you did with the hoverboard but instead let your friend kicked you out of the party & maybe try disconnecting your internet idk has to be a way.
so i did this and after having the glitch happen it kind of just made my weapon loadout, disappear, so i lost a bunch of seasonal stuff. praying to god the nightmare claws come back this halloween or im cooked. so fair warning this could happen ig

That's why you go to the main menu
To fix your inventory
What ever happened to the diamond thing DLC?
That got scrapped a long time ago
i didnt even know that hoverboard exists in zombie-apocalyptic survival game
whats the timing for the wait any specified time
Its different for everyone
Your best bet is to time how long it takes for you to join your friend
Then do the glitch
