I'm soo glad she Didn't have her finger on the trigger ( almost safer than carrying without a round in the chamber !). In the late '70's and early '80's this was all the rage being taught by each and every so-called gun guru. Putting the finger alongside the slide to show you were't ready to fire but were more Safety conscious than the next guy. Theory being if you had your finger on the trigger and were startled you'd react by yanking the trigger. If the bad guy jumps out and shoots or yells "Boo !" i WANT my finger on the trigger and pointed at him. I'll take any chance to cut reaction time in trying to play catchup to the perp. I must have stone cold nerves, i've Never jerked a trigger thru fright. Police / LEO training and tactics are different that what civilians need. To each his own . . . ☆
