Bullish or bearish, AI stocks will still dominate 2024, even beyond. Why I prefer NVIDIA is that they are better placed to maintain long-term growth potential, and provide a platform for other AI companies. I know someone who has made more than 200% from NVIDIA. I'll also take these other recommendations you made.

Way too many of these stores selling nearly IDENTICAL products have been built. Finding two sometimes three of these drug stores at a single intersection is not uncommon. Each struggling to get the identical customers with the identical prescriptions. Just another sad example of the wasteful foolish period of if you build it they will come thinking. Our idea of competition fixing everything no longer works. The retail landscape is loaded with millions of unnecessary fast food joints, drig stores, mega gas stations etc. All selling overlapping products.

I stopped shopping at CVS, etc, several years ago. Their prices, compared to Target or Walmart are insane. I am not talking about prescriptions, but ordinary vitamins, supplements, etc. I used to think when CVS had a sale on certain brands, buy one get one half off, it was time to stock up. Just comparing to Target or Walmart, I saw that I could pay half the price EACH, everyday. Now I have the convenience of Amazon, or just pick up from a local Target. If you were competitive, you would sell much more.

You want to fix this BS. Eliminate all third party prescription insurance. Watch the prices go down. Cut the graduating class size of pharmacists. Make retail pharmacists a 3- 4 year program rather than 6 to 8 year. The only pharmacist that should have a PharmD degree are hospital workers. Paying a retail pharmacist 150K and making them go to school for up to 8 years is ridiculous. Imagine the overhead for running a chain RX. The darn plastic bottles are $1 , the software for billing and processing etc. Then you have to wait months to get a small dispensing fee for a thousand dollar drug, way less than 1% profit. The chains, insurance companies and college greed gave us this inevitable outcome. Meanwhile doctors have to commit outright fraud to get paid enough for a simple office call. Just a visit to your primary for med refills and they code your visit for four or more diagnostic reasons. Feeling depressed, a code, a little overweight a code for weight loss, ear wax, a code, etc etc.

First of all, all of these companies oversaturated areas unnecessarily with to many stores. Combine this with pharmacist and tech shortages, and they're left with no choice. In my town of 35000, we have 3 cvs, 2 rite aid, and 1 Walgreens . Here's something crazy. Walgreens is so shorthanded, that the pharmacy section is closed on Saturday and Sunday, the 2 days most people have off to visit the store. And, as far as OTC products goes, they're much cheaper at our local supermarket than these pharmacies. Of course you can't get all OTC products at the supermarket. I don't think people really realize the incredible profit in OTC products. And, as a former cvs manager, I can tell you that as with all publicly traded companies, the stockholders come first, corporate executives second, and the customers way down the bottom of the list.

The answer is lifestyle choices mainly by eating the standard (SAD) American diet that destroys health and leads to preventable disease. On the rare occasion I need a prescription. Costco is where I go. Naturally, a local 24/7 pharmacy is good to have for those unexpected situations in the middle of the night or on holidays.
