Damn, I was wondering where I've heard the sounds of the Korg 03R/W synth I bought for 70 Euros on Ebay. And it's on this album, the first BM album I've ever bought !
Gonna see them live this week! In Tel Aviv! Horns Up. This album is dark and pure, hope they can catch that on stage and I will be dancing in the circle of death
His Infernal Black Majesty exercises silences while he sits and listens to damned shadows echo; from clouds of winds, as he sits on his throne, in darkness, drinking the grotesque blood of a dying Wilde Beast, that was left in a swamp, murdered by a Thug.
"The blood is the life" she murmured as she witnessed another senseless slaughter. Her reign had been cruel, and she enjoyed so much the fear she inspired in mere mortals. Who could resist her beauty? No one lived to tell the tale anyway.
They should get more praise for making such an excellent album, even the Norwegian black metal scene can't achieve their level in the same year. Its sound is so cold and evil...but it's a pity that in the next two years the German black metal scene failed to prosper when the Norwegians and Frenches were making more and more awesome things.
There's some deliciously oldskool vibes going on here. I'm properly enjoying that guitar tone. The riffs are mean but not too flashy and the drums are the same way. I like how the vocalist turns up the "spooky" on those sustained growls. This actually reminds me a bit of the "Under A Funeral Moon" album but with more slow sections and more reverb. There's some really good stuff here, for sure! \m/
Dr mengele in his studies of human anatomy found out that the German man...or woman..is the highest form of human life. He went into it. But basically it has a lot to do with jaw structure.
Still one of the best German horde from the 90's on up through the present. They exude the very essence of Black Metal.

Sounds TOTALLY like SAMAEL-worship him (Switzerland) 666

Not even close. Maybe the voice perhaps, to some degree, but this album is more similar to A Blaze in The Northern Sky than Worship Him.
@@proletarianrise10 To me the vocals sound a lot like Nocturno Culto on Under A Funeral Moon...
@@jurajvalko8406 Yeah, that one too.
No it doesnt. Sound more like Darkthrone - Under A Funeral Moon if anything.
Unholy!

Sometimes you just gotta eat spinach. But only if there's a monkey in the vicinity. Otherwise it's just obnoxious.
