I’m in the same boat, been watching the bears since 2015, hoping for Caleb Williams to be successful as he is third qb that the bears have taken with a first round pick

I remember being 5 when we lost to the colts in the SB. Very excited feeling going into this season and not like seasons before.

Isn't it wonderful that we finally have a GM that knows what the hell he's doing? As a Bears fan, I've been waiting years for this to happen. Just look what Poles has done in the past 2 years. 2023 was just unreal, but the 2024 draft is epic. Picking up Taylor in the 4th round was an absolute genius move. Finally we have a guy with a rocket for a leg that can pin an opponent back where we need them.
We address almost all of the needs and holes in our team overall A in this draft class 🐻✅
Nice! Someone that understands the value of a really good punter. We're going to pin so many teams inside the 20. I know WAR (wins against replacement) is a baseball metric but I honestly believe Tory Taylor outstanding punting skills will give us one or two more wins this season. He is a definite A on the grade! Bear down!
Taylors accuracy is gonna be huge. I see a lot of defensive possessions starting inside the other teams 10 to 5 yard line. Field position battle is so key especially if were in tight games. Massive upgrade
Especially with how bad Gill was last year, it made be realize the value of a good punter 😂

Poles is so deliberate and driven that he refuses to fail. He is King Poles
Can't see Booker as an A+. Not a day one Starter and needs more development. I would also like to see at least 30lbs more to his frame otherwise I fear will be too easy to control at the line. I rate a B at best right now. Like the height though. Good potential if he can fill out.
His comp is Maxx Crosby and he will be coached by the guy who coached Crosby. He needs to add 10-15 lbs and that’s it. He was 255 at his pro day and ran faster than the combine.

The biggest reason Poles deserves A+ for Caleb is his moving away from Fields...I am a huge Fields fan too and that took some serious stones imo so fingers crossed Caleb is who we hope he is
We got Caleb Williams, Rome Odunze and... Tory Taylor may be the best player we took! What an incredible draft.

i’m in on the A for Taylor (who could become one of the most valuable parts of the Defense if Flus can get his guys to use less of the field regularly to get teams off the field. And of course the solid A’s to A+’s an amazing 5 pick draft.

Been a fan since Super Bowl XX, it's the first football game I ever watched. So, I have never experienced a full season run that culminates in a Super Bowl title. I hope this is my time, my time is running out.
shout outs Justin fields, we’re all rooting for you in Pittsburgh. And yes bears fans, we can get over Justin fields and still feel sorry for the guy at the same time, can you imagine what he must be feeling? I hope Caleb is our guy and I’m excited for the future but I also feel a bit of shame for how we did jf1, at least we sent him somewhere he can succeed. But man is it exciting in Chicago! Can’t wait for September 🥹

I doubt Austin Booker does much for us. His frame just isn’t going to work in the NFL. It’s still a great draft. Honestly after the first 3 picks I don’t think the rest really mattered and Tory is a stud and I really hope he works out for us

The Odunze pick was an F. Olu Fashanu was clearly the better pick. The bears need to protect Caleb, not draft more skill players. Very puzzling

I was working during the draft and the only one who jumped up and down when Rome was picked. Everybody else was bummed at not getting MHJ. Also you gotta love Pace magic fumbling Atlanta’s pick 😂 No hate for Penix, but easily an F grade knowing their QB situation iykyk

I first became a football fan in the 2018 season and so my first taste of bears football was a 12-4 season. I havent been more excited for a season since the 2019 season when i thought we were going to be good again
I was hyped for last year however this year feels different in an exciting way!

Not gonna lie, speaking of Ryan Pace, I wonder how much input he had in Atlanta's decision to draft Michael Penix. It reminded me a lot of signing Andy Dalton and drafting Justin.
I like the Tory Taylor pick. I think you have to consider how many picks the Bears had. He would not of been there as undrafted. Then consider how bad our punting has been. I still probably would have said B, but I cannot totally disagree. I love the Booker pick. I actually talked about him to my friend before the draft that I thought he would be available in the fourth and we should take him if we didn't go edge sooner. Then they did the trade. Great move and I look forward to seeing every one of these guys play.

You're absolutely right on par. This is by far the best Bears draft class in 2024, straight up bar none. I've never ever been so happier for a very long awaited time when it comes to selecting players. Once when GM Poles become our GM for the Bears, He said that the goal was to build the draft. That he did and I salute him to that. He did something that none of the GMs has done and that's to evaluate players. Instead of overpay players, earn your way and your success to become a value player and when you do, You will get rewarded. That's what I like about him. There been times that I doubt him but at the end of the day, GM Poles brings the wow factor. So yes all the way, I don't give out grades to this team because I know sometimes it could be fair or unfair, but he definitely deserves an A+ on my book, Big time plays makes Big game plays and GM Poles was a game changer in this NFL draft 2024. Now it's time for the results so I'm looking at 10-8 or 11-7 in the regular season. Bear 🐻 Down.
