The Piccadilly line is extremely unreliable. I used it a few times this year from Terminal 4 to King's Cross. And on every trip there were Technical issues 😢. So I decided to stay near Paddington station, thus using the Elizabeth line thinking that there will be no issues, of course having the Newest trains. Boy was I wrong. Going back to Terminal 4, we had to get off the train at Terminal 2, and walk to another platform and wait for an hour. Having lived in Japan for 15 years, I think that the UK's transportation system is too expensive and extremely unreliable 😢. But I do love the atmosphere that the London underground has. 😅
Im looking to do a 'pro's and cons' video of each public transport option for getting into London. I will do some research into the reliability of the lines.
Well I have to use the Piccadilly line and it honestly isn't that bad. Expensive Shore unreliable not really! Considering it has to run every single day it's actually very good
@@soundescapemn it is a very old, badly planned, station with no escalators and poor ventilation. There are lifts which I recommend you use, and wait for if there is a long queue. There is one set of stairs. They are steep in a circular rotation and very exhausting to use.
Tomorrow i arrive at terminal 4, will have to catch picadily line to Gloucester Road, hopefuly i dont get lost. Do you tap the credit card again once u exit? 🤔
Piccadilly line takes 25 stops to St Pancras king cross to shorten the time can I take Heathrow express or Elizabeth line to central then change metro?
Easiest would be Elizabeth Line from Heathrow to Farringdon. Change at Farringdon to the Circle, Metropolitan or Hammersmith and City Line to Kings Cross, which is one stop from Farringdon.
Thank you for a straight forward and very informative video!
Thank you for this preview!
Always love the 1970s feel of the Piccadilly Line 1973 stock!

Yes, and make sure it is the same card that you tapped at the Heathrow barrier otherwise you may get charged the full day rate.
@@MarksAviationChannel I see thanks, we will see tomorrow 😊

You forgot about Terminal 4?
Hi, I recorded the footage from two recent return flights. I very rarely use Terminal 4.
