transcript- Hello rovers hope you all were doing well, today we are going to discuss about wuthering waves version 1.1 and version 1.2 character banners.
Let's start with wuthering waves Version 1.1 character banners,
In phase 1 of version 1.1 we will get jinshi banner, Also it is speculated that, Jinhsi is a Spectro Resonator. As for her weapon, it’s said that she wielded a sword in one of the promotional artworks from the official Japanese account.
Now moving forward with phase 2 of version 1.1 wuthering waves,
We will see changli banner, Changli in Wuthering Waves is a counselor of Jinzhou Magistrate and a mentor to Jinhsi.
Both of these characters are already confirmed to be in version 1.1 by kuro games via drip marketing.
Now moving forward with Version 1.2 character banners.
In version 2.2 we can expect scar and Camellya banner.
Both of these characters are highly anticipated and have high chance to appear in one of upcoming banners.
Camellya is a member of the Black Shores secret organization in the game. She made a brief appearance during version 1.0 story where the Rover pinned her down to question her actions.
Camellya will be a Havoc element user like Danjin. Her weapon of choice is a sword similar to Rover.
And scar on the other hand is a member of Fractsidus, one of the villainous groups in Wuthering Waves who consider the Lament a self regulating system of evolution.
So these are the characters comming in upcoming versions of wuthering waves.

I highly doubt it because Scar is half a Tacit Discord, so him being a Resonator playable by the player makes zero sense with the current story progression. 1.2 is imho not happening for Scar/Camellya

My only issue with wuthering waves drip marketing is that they drip market in a really strange way..
They do a ☆☆☆☆ ---> ☆
Then they don't even tell you the element of the unit in question at all.
This isn't how you drip market a unit. You make it CLEAR if the unit is a 4 or 5 star and the element.
Genshin didn't show stars either when they first started drip marketing
It makes them unique with the drawn out stars. And I feel its better to not know elements because then it could be a surprise (they already don't color code every character to a specific element) so there'd be more hype.

Just like genshin, the first characters are the worst characters and they'll only get stronger. Also like genshin the first elements to be showcased, like Aero, will be the worst elements.
Anemo in genshin is losing its relevance and all but Kazua were power crept long ago.
Jiyan has maybe 3 months before he's old news.

It doesn’t really matter if newer characters are stronger than the older ones, it’s very typical for gacha games to be like that. Unless, you’re a meta slave who likes to pull for strong characters, sure wait and pull. But in general, just pull whatever character you like.

Now I really don't get the reason for how does scar becomes playable guys.. isn't he the current villain to the story plot ?? Why the heck are they making him a playable chr ? I MEAN i want him to be a playable chr too... and he's not the biggest dog in WuWa for certain... but the current main anatagonist gets a character banner 2 months from the game release man ??
You know, they really screwed themselves with the weapon system. There are hints that they want to give characters unique weapons, like Jiyan with the spear, Camellya with the vines and Scar with the cards, but they're just temporary powers. I just think that's lame. It'd be so much cooler if these powers were the entire play style. Let Scar permanently use his cards. let Camellya use her vines at all times. The idea that she's going to use a sword is just so lame. The weapon system could've just been a trinket on the character. All the bonuses of the weapon could've stayed the same but the character would get to always use their unique weapon then.
You realise characters are kind of already like this right? Havoc rover uses a scythe more than a sword, yinlin uses her puppet instead of whatever normal rectifier attacks are, same with verina and encore using plants and plushies.
@@jordanwalker3617 That's my point though. They're 'kind of' using their weapon power. That's so lame. Just create a system where they can use it all the time.
@@daman8492 I don't really get it though, some people can clearly use their resonance abilities more than others, having a weapon to channel them through makes sense.
I personally think it's cool that their weapons weave between their resonance abilities, it also makes sense on the basis of trying to conserve energy during fights.
@@jordanwalker3617 Maybe it could've worked if they had cooler regular weapons (currently all gacha weapons look awful, even Jiyan's sword). Like, the reason I don't like the weapon swapping is because of the Jiyan parts of the main story. He's swapping between a cool spear and the basic, dull grey sword. It just looks bad. Would've been cooler if he just used the spear.
And as far as I'm aware, the monk girl (I'm bad with Chinese names), doesn't use gauntlets despite having them equipped. That's good. More of that. She's using her actual fists and the orbs. She's essentially doing what I want, always using her power. Yinlin is all right so far, the wand rectifier thing just hovers behind her and she mostly sends her doll out from what I can see in the chaos of combat. I like that, but at the same time it kind of makes the rectifier pointless. The doll probably should've just been a 'skin' for the weapon, and then we're back to my original point.
From a lore perspective, you can make it work. It's not hard to slightly alter things. They could just say the power resonates as it strikes foes, building up extra strength, causing the ultimate to happen. And that's just me thinking about it for 10 seconds.

I hate to say it, but this is based on no actual information and thus is pure wishful thinking.
Doubt Scar/Cammelya will be coming this soon as we haven't even finished their stories, or why they stalk/exist, there's so many unanswered questions that it doesn't make sense to have a ? become a playable character this soon, odds are higher that the story must progress further before it makes sense to have them join the roster of playables.
But up to you if you wanna skip banners over a guess, be my guest
