Lucky enough to to live a minute or two from the last part of this video. The continuation of the walk along past Hammersmith Bridge to Barnes and beyond is our regular walk. Highly recommend it. Not at all what a lot of people think of as London living. 👌
On the flight path to Heathrow but not too bad just now. Lived round the corner from Craven Cottage in a bedsit in 1969... very very long time since walked past the rowing club houses. Worked in Brentford market. Long gone...good riddence to bad rubbish...
Lovely. I was reading an article recently where someone said London had a particular smell of "damp leaves and diesel." Would you agree? Have you your own thoughts?
No Putney is a nice place , lived there from 1956 till 1976 , both my parents lived there till passing away in 2004 and 2015 ,, over Putney Bridge turn left fulham football club .
