Thank you for this. I am not religious but love visiting cathedrals. They are awe inspiring. Walking in the beautiful countryside then visiting a cathedral is my idea of a perfect day.
Oh goodness me, I sure hope this series continues and explores various other topics once these beautiful cathedrals have been explored! Thank you greatly for this series and it’s extensive history!🇨🇦
This has been an excellent historic, and picturesque journey. Taking a tour of the great cathedrals of England, and Europe, would be a bucket list achievement. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful! Thank you for these episodes. They're very inspiring. I love the history contexts of these videos. I'm new to Religion, not yet baptised but can't wait myself to embark on pilgrimages someday. I know now I'll carry a Breviary, Missal and Rosary.
I’m not Roman Catholic…but…I wish you many blessings and a wonderful relationship with our beloved LORD! Learning about our faith is a process, so be patient with yourself. I’m sure you are eager, and that is a wonderful attribute. Keep searching into our historical church fathers and diverse history, along with the various traditions…it’s truly rich and an added benefit to all our denominations. May our LORD continually bless you and renew your heart!🇨🇦xx🙏xx🇨🇦
@@shelleyhender8537 Thank you! I wish you many blessings as well. I am trying to aquire as many books about Religion as I can. For history, I just now ordered the Folio Society Edition of Reformation: Europe's house divided. And as a lifetime goal, I'll work on getting Fathers of the Church by CUA Press, among other works. The Breviary I pray from is called Divine Worship Daily Office C.E. which is taken from the Anglican tradition. Also use Divine Intimacy which has great meditations based on liturgical year. Praise God, Our Lord Ascended into Heaven! Alleluia God Bless
@@Paul9443 Oh Paul ~ your plans to expand your knowledge sounds tremendous! But, your dedicated prayer life is even more commendable…we all need to focus on this practice in our ever increasing tumultuous world. However, I feel you touched on another important facet of our faith…meditation. We can pray, but it’s equally significant to meditate and listen to our beloved LORD. On a separate note…I have been researching and exploring the Messianic roots of our faith and have found them to be profoundly rewarding! Do you have an interest in such endeavors? My greatest wish is to visit Israel and walk the path of our beloved Messiah and His apostles…a pilgrimage of sorts. To visit the various places our LORD once stood gives me goosebumps. It may sound childlike, but the thought of standing in the very destinations where the earthly presence of our Saviour once stood, fills me with immense joy! I am familiar with the liturgy, prayerful practice, and meditations of the Anglican Church, but it’s such a beautiful thought, knowing you have now embraced the Christian faith. I know you will be baptized, as you are taking this journey exceptionally serious…more of us could certainly follow this example! Welcome dear brother…may the LORD continue to bless you and reveal His abounding mercy, grace and love, as you seek a personal relationship with Him! 🇨🇦xx❤xx🇨🇦 P.S. I was wondering if you lived in the UK?
Loved the three part series. Now do one on the ancient yew trees all across Britain as there are some that are thousands of years old and have a story to tell.
I've watched the 3 in the series, absolutely fantastic series, Of all I've visited thus far I think the crown jewel is Durham and Ely/Lincoln & Salisbury are close on its heals, I have not done wells/Gloucester yet but hopefully within the year.
If you've watched ep. 1 and 2 skip till 3:57. Each episode has a huge and unnecessary intro which repeats itself every episode. Apart from that I should add that the calming influence of these cathedrals is immeasurable. It's like pouring oil on the troubled waters of your soul.
There were several comments submitted to yesterday’s Labour Party You Tube live broadcast asking the organisers to get in touch with Phil Moorhouse for social media advice. 😊
I don't understand why interiors are described as highly decorated when they're as grey as a shin bone. The constant playing of To Be a Pilgrim is slowly grinding me down.
James 1:27 "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
I am grateful to be able to go on a virtual pilgrimage ❤
I love being taken around the Cathedrals of England. Thank you David.
The real and most deep meaning of cathedrals has being lost in UK. Thanks for this documentary.
A lovely series, made even lovelier by David’s sublime voice.

Thank you David Suchet and Vision Video for programs both beautiful and inspiring.

What a wonderful voice David has- pure gold. He draws you into the narrative. Thank you.

Thank you for the beautiful history of my favorite country!❤❤❤🌹
Thank you so much for posting these three incredible journeys. My spirit has been greatly moved.
I absolutely love this program. I do wish that some maps had been included to show where exactly the places were.
Thanks for sharing the Faithful Journey.God bless You All
Thank you so much for this wonderful series!
Thank you very much for this enlightening glimpse into history.

Beautifully done thanks.
I truly enjoyed this series. Now I would like to take a pilgrimage to see some of these great cathedrals! 😊
Well! What a wonderful series of three videos about Cathedrals. Be joyful and keep the Faith. Marvellous efforts Mr Suchet👍
Thank you so very much I appreciate and have enjoyed this series.👏🏼👏🏼💕💓💗🇦🇺💕💓💗
A truly beautiful little series . Quality 😊
Thank you so much for this series. Very interesting and inspiring.
What treasures these cathedrals are! Many thanks for making these videos! God bless you!
Thank you so much for these lovely programs, I am truly inspired to take a pilgrimage myself.
I've enjoyed the series very much. I'll likely not get there in person to see these lovely buildings, do this is the next best thing.

I want not only to watch great cathedrals, but to know their history, so include this program.
Part of the fine treasures of Europe accumulated over many centuries.
That was incredible...
Thank you from Canberra ❤
I remember being at Wells Cathedral in 1974. It was newer then.
Great series! (In some places, the presenter's posture and enunciation remind me a bit of Alan Partridge.)

An excellent series, but disappointing that Llandaff Cathedral, one of the oldest cathedral foundations in Britain, was not included.

Hercule Poirot goes to church for the benefit of all of us.
Only Scotland was missing and there are some great cathedrals there.
sir Hercules Poriot is back
If possible please dub the pilgrim's progress to Telugu language also....

why no Norwich cathederal at all?
Because that's in Scandinavia.
Don't you know anything?
i feel like listening to xzibit - paparazzi, i don't know why..
I don't understand why interiors are described as highly decorated when they're as grey as a shin bone. The constant playing of To Be a Pilgrim is slowly grinding me down.
Jesus is my Saviour not my religion
James 1:27 "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
Jesus instituted a new religion that perfected the old one, including sacraments, priests and bishops
Thank you very much! The journey across the UK is incredible.
I, Find it very Annoying that " A Practising:- JEW" ..
Can Educate US CRISTIANS .???
Like Our Lord? Unlike Jesus Christ, who certainly was a practising Jew, David Suchet is a practising Anglican.
@@edwardbell9795you are both wrong. He's Belgium. Haven't you seen Piorot?
What is the processional March song at the start called ?
It is a hymn. Holy Holy Holy Lord God Almighty. Type the name into google.😊
@@stephengraham5099 I meant the processional march music at the very start of the video
@@AlbionTarkhan Sorry, It sounds vaguely familiar I'll ask a friend...........
Music for the Funeral of Queen Mary (Purcell) 😊
