if you stay in a dark room for over 20 seconds, the entity known as “guiding light” will make the door glow blue, this also applies to keys in dark rooms, seek’s chase, the blue frames around paintings in puzzles, and emits a shiny sound when close to a key or a book in figure’s library. (the sound will be fainter if it is a key), guiding light is also present on a blue screen once your killed by a monster.

Here's a few tips if you ever wanna come back to play doors:
You don't actually need to turn around for halt. Just walk backwards. Keep in mind that you move slower while going backwards though.
Screech can attack more than once, simultaneously. Whenever you dodge his attack, be prepared for another one to show up.
-Screech can appear above or below you, so make sure to look up or down when you hear him.
Glitch is (for the most part) unavoidable. It will spawn whenever room generation screws itself up, or if you are left behind by your teammates. (The threshold of getting teleported is 5 rooms.)
Rush can be avoided without closets. Some examples of these are vents, alternate rooms, basements, ect.
-For the more technical side, rush will bee-line to the next door. (He will move in a straight line from door A to door B.) So if you stay out of sight, you will make it.
-The same applies for ambush, however his hitbox is bigger and he kills on sight. If you plan to hide without a closet, look away from any entrances, large hallways, or other sightlines to the
room you're in.
-In a nutshell, Rush or Ambush won't kill you if you are out of their way.
The fire in seek's final hallway wont insta-kill you. If you don't know where to go, you can run through the fire. Keep in mind it will take a BIG chunk of your health (roughly 70%)
Eyes can be avoided by simply looking down. Wider monitors will enable you to see Eyes without getting damaged.
-Eyes will deal 10% of your health per-tick.
-Eyes will warn players of their presence with a purple glow and voices.
There's an entity that has a 1/20 chance (or 5%) of appearing in a closet. He can spawn even if Rush or Ambush are present.
-The entity also has a 1/2000 chance of appearing behind a door. Whenever he appears behind a door, the entity will tint the room red for a couple seconds and will proceed to make it dark. This
is what's known as a "Blood Room"
The blue light is an entity itself. It's called "Guiding Light". As its name suggests, its purpose is to guide players lost in the dark, or in seek's chase.
-Guiding Light will spawn in a dark room roughly 20 seconds to 1 minute after it opens. You can also wait out this time outside the dark room.
-Guiding Light will make the door glow, as well as the key if the door has a lock on it.
-Guiding Light will also block screech from spawning, though only temporarily.
Living in closets or under beds is a bad idea. There's an entity called hide that will harm you for roughly half your health if you stay in a closet for too long. It will also kick you out of the closet.
-If kicked out of the closet, you will not be able to hide for 10 seconds.
-The time before the entity attacks gets shorter the farther you are through the doors.
-He will not spawn in rooms 50 and 99.
Timothy is unavoidable and has a 1/200 chance of spawning when opening a drawer. He's also really annoying.
-Timothy will deal 5% of your health. Which is almost negligible.
You can heal yourself using bandages that can be found in drawers.
There's a spot in the library next to the door where Figure won't be able to get you. Looking at the door with the lock on front, it's on the right side next to the plant.
-Keep in mind there's a mechanic that can kill you while standing in that spot. If no player has done the "Heartbeat minigame" for a while, Figure will bee-line to a random player, regardless of the
noise they are making.
-Also, remember to look out for stray debris on the library floor, as they emit noise regardless of if you are crouching.
-After the library door is unlocked, Hide will begin to spawn.
-Whenever the library door is unlocked, Figure will bee-line to any other players still in the library regardless of the noise they are making. He will also become insanely fast.
-This also happens in Room 100 after the electric box minigame

Survival guide: first we have rush rush will come running before he will the light will Flickr that indicates that he’s close and you must get near a closet quickly and once you hear the noise go inside if your late your screen will turn dark And
some kind of skeleton will jump scare you also Pro tip you can stand in a separate corridor that isn't a numbered door to avoid him. Rushs main goal is go from the door you entered in to the next rooms door. Evidently 60 percent of the time you are in the way. In summary if you are not in the way of the path between the doors he will fly past you no issue this might be a little hard tho
Now screetch Screetch will say “psst” when he doas sometimes it’s just a trick and there’s nothing there but if it’s in a dark area you must look around and look for a weird looking monster with only a head when you catch it it will scare you but it won’t do any harm if you catch it but not in time then you will get jump scared and it will hurt a little bit if you don’t look at it at all it was instant kill you
Now seek seek Will start off completely normal no harm just some eyes but when you get to a certain level/door number you will be in the big hallway with eyes When you are almost to the end seek Will appear immediately after it you have to run away you have to follow the blue particles and crouch to avoid the obstacles it’s not that hard if you have experienced horror games
Timothy is A very small creature it has a low chance of spawning if you open a drawer if you experience it there’s no way to avoid it or there’s no hint that it’s going to happen whatsoever don’t worry it’s just like super low damage
Jack is a lot like Timothy but he will be in a closet there’s a little chance of them spawning if you open one it will jump scare you but do you no harm this might be annoying if it happens while trying to hide from rush
On floor 50 for me is going to be the most annoying entity called figure when the cutscene is over you must Crouch the whole way until you complete it first you will have to find a note that will help you solve the code because there are codes scattered around the map these codes are in a book you have to find the five digit code so five books and then we have the code go to the door and unlock it also some important information keep distance away from figure and also if he catches you it will instant kill you if you see him trying to sit here or going towards you have a chance to hide in one of the hiding places he will camp there for a little bit but then will run away
Next is eyes these eyes will drain your hp if you look at it you must look at the ground and go past it these things are really annoying because they have no indicator on appearing so you’re always going to lose health so I recommend keeping an “eye” out for This entity
Now we have halt another one of those entities that are really annoying so it will be easy to know when it’s close it would be this kind of weird green and screen will flicker whenever it flickers and says turn around you must turn around and run that way you must do this until it disappears
Hide is a very easy one to avoid you have to make sure to not stay in hiding places for too long and if you do there will be an indicator your screen will turn red and say get out you must get out but if not it will kick you out and drain some of your health and prevent you from going into a hiding place for a few minutes this would be terrible if rush was to appear
Glitch is an entity that only works in multiplayer if you get too far away from your team it will come and drain you hp after a jump scare it will also teleport you to your team
Ambush is another one that’s annoying it’s practically the same as rush but he comes multiple times so hide might kick you out And you can’t go back in due to the timer well your fate is sealed if that happens so if Ambush survives go a little late but not too late
And now on level 100 our old pal is back figure… once the cut scene is done you need to crouch the whole way and go in the previous room and hide in the closet immediately! After this we will have to do a mini game after you’re done with the mini game and the monster is far enough away you can then go back and go up on the stairs and get a key go back down and unlock the door in the previous room you will then see a panel open the panel and you must do another mini game so you have to click the buttons according to the number on top when you are done go running yes do not crouch anymore just go running it doesn’t matter just go go super fast and go up The stairs and finally reach the elevator and get in quickly after the cut scene you have finished the game and escaped
I hope you like my tutorial this took like so long there might be some mistakes sorry this took a long time too! And if you can’t beat it don’t worry just practice a lot hope this helped

Rush: A really fast entity that rushes through rooms and kills anybody who is not in a closet, vent or under a bed
Ambush: Same as Rush but comes back sometimes, hop in and out of a closet
Hide: Will say GET OUT when you stay in a closet or under a bed for too long
Screech: Will only appear in dark rooms, rarely comes in rooms with light or if you have a light source
Guiding Light: Will help complete the game
Jack: A simple jumpscare entity that had 1/20 chance of spawning in a closet and 1/2000 behind a door
Timothy: A small spider that has 1/200 chance of spawning in a drawer
Figure: A demogorgon shaped like entity that cant see but hear very well, crouch when hes in the same room as you, door 50 and door 100 only
Shadow: A 1/2000 chance entity that can spawn behind any door any time, he will play a distorted sound
Window: A 1/200 chance entity that will spawn at a window sometimes and has no effect'
Eyes: A entity that does damage when looking at him
Seek: A running entity you gotta run away from or else you are dead, to know hes coming you will see eyes on the walls, they have no effect other than telling seek your coming
Halt: A ghost that will spawn when the lights flicker very long and will say TURN AROUND a lot of times and you gotta get out of his hallway or he will do 60 damage of 100
Glitch: Will spawn when a room bugs out or you get 5 doors behind other players and will teleport you back and will deal 40 damage if he teleports you to players and does no damage when the game breaks

Hey DJ I wanted to give some tips on how to beat the game. There is 100 doors and many different monsters in different rooms. Most of the monsters are randomized. Every time a light flickers that means rush is coming when this happens go and hide in a closet or bed. The other entity is called screech. Every time you hear psst that means it is near you. You must look around you fast enough and look it in the eyes. If you don't you will lose some health. And on door 36 there will soon be a boss chase seen. Where you have to crouch in small spaces and pick the right door fast enough. And on door 50 is where it get's SUPER HARD. There is a monster in a library that is blind. But he can hear so good that he can sense you're heartbeat. And you need to collect shiny books to form a code and a piece of paper. But keep in mind that you should always crouch in this level. And every book you get he gets even faster. After you get 8 books and a piece of paper you should figure out the code. And quickly open the lock on the other door. And don't be near the figure. I will sense you're heart beat and kill you. And quickly try to hide in a closet if it comes near you. And there will be a mini game in the closet. And you use door knobs to buy stuff that can help you out. Get door knobs by going through doors. And if you want a better explanation of the game maybe you can search it up on RUclips. But there may be some spoilers in the video's so just ask if you want me to explain more!

DJ this is just a list of tips and tricks it should help you beat the game
1.when the lights flicker rush or ambush comes if ambush comes get in a wardrobe wait for him to pass twice get out then immediately get back in and repeat until he's gone
2.when you hear a psst then look around you from screech using a light source lowers the chances of him spawning more than one of him can spawn at once
3. seek is quite simple just look for the lights guiding you and avoid the hands
4.for figure just grab the code sheet the books and enter the code whilst avoiding seek you can guess the final number
5.eyes is very easy just look away from him
6. the picture room is just placing the pictures where they should be
7. in lever rooms there are only certain places they can spawn get a rough idea of where they will spawn and it should make it easier
8. in dark locked rooms either use a lockpick or look for a glow this will guide you to the door and will also show you the key when nearby
9. on door 100 just go backwards and hide and wait for figure to get further away then go upstairs and get the key from the elevator then go back down open the electricity room when you are doing the switch minigame turn them all on as there are usually more on than off then just turn the ones off that are meant to be off then go up and you have beat floor one
10.also I would recommend getting a lighter instead of a torch or if you want get both because a torch is only really useful for dark lever rooms
11. halt makes a longer flicker and just makes you turn around even if it makes the tv snow appear on your screen without it saying turn around just turn around also if you are right next to the door you should be able to make it even if it says turn around

Seek is technically liquid so it wouldnt really make a difference
All doors monsters, what they do and how to avoid them:
Rush: Rush is a pretty common monster. If the lights flicker, hide in a closet/vent/bed or he kills you. Dark PNG monster
Timothy: Spider. He can't kill you, just a jump scare. He is kind of rare.
Jack: Closet dude. mainly a jump scare, but you will take damage from him. He is rare.
Hide: Another closet dude. Just don't stay in the closet for too long.
Screech: He is most common in the dark. He will make a "psst" sound, look at it before you take damage.
Eyes: There are 2 types of eyes, this one and wall ones, I will talk about the other one. Just don't look at it.
Wall eyes: You can look at them, just a warning Seek is soon. Speaking of...
Seek: Most common around rooms 30-40 to rooms 80-90. Once you encounter him, JUST RUN. Rooms 80-90 Seek is harder. He is a dark tall figure with one eye.
Glitch: Only on multiplayer. If you are too far behind a group, he will come and teleport you with a little jump scare.
Ambush: Similar to Rush, but harder. Unlike Rush, he will come back 2-6 times. White PNG monster
Halt: Kind of minigame. Just walk the other way then a glitch says, "Turn Around" multiple times. IDK how rare he is.
Figure: There are 2 Figures, Room 50 and Room 100 (Room 50 is a library, find books and solve a code. Room 100 is a weird garage thing, find a key, solve a puzzle, and go in the elevator.) He is blind but has good hearing. Room 50 is harder because his hearing is so goddamn good. If you hide in a closet and he comes near, you will play a heartbeat minigame, don't panic, just beat the minigame. Demogorgon ripoff.

Also here are tips for every Entities in doors
When the lights flicker, it means ambush or rush is gonna arrive, but sometimes when the lights flicker longer, it means Halt is gonna be in the next room,
To survive Ambush, get in the closet then get out and ambush will come back 1-6 times, so get in the closet and wait for ambush to pass, after that get out and get back in, ambush will go for a second round, do this until Ambush is finally gone
To survive halt, you will appear in s greenish blueish hallway, run away from halt although he can teleport infront of you, Run and when theres the word "TURN AROUND" do what halt said, do this until you reach the next door.
To survive Eyes, what ever you do DON'T LOOK AT IT
To survive Screech, it appears in dark rooms only, it will psst as a warning that he is near, look for screech
To survive Seek, Run away from him and avoid the obstacles, rush or ambush can't appear during Seek's Crescendo, the first Chase last 8 doors and the second Chase last 6 doors but the second Chase has no obstacles, only doors
To survive Figure, figure is blind and he use sounds and sense your heartbeat, he appears in door 50 and door 100 (the last door), when it's near, hide in a closet/Under the bed, You have to complete the heartbeat minigame first, in door 50, find all the books, you can tell by the sparkling sound,

ok one tip lights flicker when rush c to chrouch and when eyes apear on ur walls ur safe from all the other monsters and later when the eyes stop u are in a long halway and u get followed by seek run chrouch and dont steop on burnign things scan ur surrounding before going a way because one door is right and the other are wrong at door 50 a rpunder head demogorgon follows u and u have to find books dont get in his path and keep chrouching around when u cant find anymore books check even more to make sure if theres auctally none than enter it in a door with a code and ur out and also the book one at door 50 it has a fancy door not a normal one
Tip: ambush is a aggressive monster you have to hide in a dresser and repeat the same thing over and over until he's gone you'll hear a static noise that's when you have to hide Rush's less aggressive and only comes once you also have to hide in the dresser

some tips if the lights flicker hide if you hear psst in a dark room look for screech if you look at him he will scream and run away into yo mama's room if the lights flicker alot and rush/ambush doesnt come its halt if the screen glitches you have to walk backwards and if the screen glitches while walking backwards you gotta start walking foward repeat until he is gone on door 30 - 45 there is a entity called seek you gotta run press c to get through the crawling spots and in the rooms with 3 doors you have to look right and left very quick choose the correct door which has a sign on it and its sparkling blue (sorry i cant do all)

Here’s one tip for dark rooms cuz it looks like you are struggling with dark rooms
Before you enter a dark room you can kinda see what it looks like so you can use that so you can find the door in a dark room

Your lucky you only spotted rush and guilding light there are like 4-5 more monsters like:screech,rush,ambush I think there's few more than that also signs of rush coming is when the lights of the room your in start to flicker or you hear some sort of sound when your encounter any of these signs go in a closet or In a hiding place there's 100 doors to complete (there could be more doors added in the future but at the time I am commenting this there's only 100 doors) anyways hopefully this helps you out and have a great day!
