  • I have been trying to get into some big reds on the river for quite some time now, either no luck, terrible weather, or bad current but yesterday I turned it around
Chunking blue crabs on 1oz First Flight ledge tender jigs. Gave my 4000 battle dx and MH HMG a workout.
Also managed a trout and sheepshead before it started getting busy on the water
Check out my video for more information. Water was 67-68 degrees

What do you look for on the river for fishing spots? Hitting holes and dropoffs out of the channel that you find?

I like areas that are funnel points, or scalloped areas in the side of the river. Rocks for the sheepshead and drum though.
