It would be kinda cool if they could somehow get her on the show for something like Blank. Or Tomb in Season 5. But who knows, there's a good chance she's probably not jumping into doing podcasts right when she gets out.
Can’t believe we made it through the whole first season. Thank you guys for keeping this going. I always look forward to rewatching Smallville every week with yall. This episode brought me back definitely and will never forget the tornado scene with Lana and Clark. Love yall and can’t wait for Season 2✌🏼
Absolutely loved Kristin's 'Claaaaarrrrkkk' at the end, lol and keeping John Glover later for Jor El was a damn sweet move too. Congrats on one whole season down!!!!
Wow. Can’t believe we are at the finale already. Time literally flew. I know I have said this before, but thank you for this phenomenal labor of love. It has been a tough year with the loss of my Dad, and going on this journey with you has really helped. A few months before Dad passed, we were rewatching season 1. He was on a ventilator and could not speak. After watching this episode Dad pointed to Lex and put his hand on his heart, and tapped it a few times, indicating love. This is one of my most cherished memories of him. You guys are true Superheroes and I am glad to have you in my life❤️❤️🙏🏻
Smallville was a show that I grew up watching with my dad together. It certainly also helped me dealing with struggles with a disability such as cerebral palsy. I also connected with Clark when I lost my grandfather in 2005. Just as Clark lost his dad on the show. SV also helped me fill the void in my life of not having any friends. Michael and Tom and their characters became my friends week to week. They are certainly True heroes. And I anm happy to have them as part of my life.❤❤🙏
Nothing beats the opening to this episode. THAT SONG! Stabbing Westward, "What Do I Have To Do". Amazing feel to Lex and Lionel's relationship and the tune itself had that sense of impending doom. Love it!
I have to confess, I knew nothing about the song or band as I wasn't into that type of music back then. But re-watching the show made me focus on different things, and the song hit me hard this time around. I looked it up and there you go!
Guys, please get Kristin back on the pod! 🙏 since she was your first guest, i feel like she didn't have as much time as the other guests on the pod (since you were figuring this all out) ! She is so insightful ! I had a blast listening to you, can’t wait for season 2, great storylines , no more freak of the week!
I loved Michael as Lex. Such a creepy and weird and dark and interesting character. Then I remember listening to Michael’s podcast Inside of You. And was so startled how out going and thoughtful he was. Made me appreciate his acting and I’m totally a Rosenbaum fan. Thanks Talkville. (Take a shot every time I said “and”. Sorry)
Tempest was an awesome finale. Great episode to tie up things and move things forward into future seasons. The opening scene with Lionel coming to the plant, Remy Zero at the dance was awesome, The Lana/Whitney dance to Lifehouse "Everything" song, the look at Lex's face when he was going to potentially kill/save Lionel, and the Clark attempt to save Lana. All amazing! Great season overall too :D
I can tell you that I was watching this episode when it aired and seeing the words “to be continued“ and having to wait the whole summer was so tough. Anyway, love the show. Still love the show. Now watching it with my family years later
Love Tom’s comment about Chloe and Clark trying-out a relationship. From all their interactions, I got a sense that they were play-acting a relationship - everything was a bit forced, or in other words, too much. Clark was too attentive. Chloe was too cheerful. Of course, in Chloe’s view, somewhere, deep down she knew this was not going to last. Great writing! Great acting choices.
That's what makes season 4-6 interesting with their relationship, so many moments to feel like they love each other in a closer way and yet they're friends I feel like the show just kept teasing us with that and it was cruel
@Ninja Nibba I think the fact that through most of season 4 to 6, Chloe knowing Clark's secret, gave Chloe a piece of Clark that Lana didn't have, and I think she liked that deep down.
Yes you made it to the finale of season 1. This cliffhanger ending was the best for season as Clark enters the tornado was just intense. Then season 2 dovetailing from season 1 was just perfectly setup.
The song in the opening scene (Stabbing Westward - "What Do I Have to Do?") is such a quintessential 90s alternative song. Its spiritual successor (Linkin Park - "Numb") would not come out for another year and a half after the airing of this episode, or else that would've been the more contemporary choice for this scene.
I love that they are experiencing the highs & lows of what it was like to watch this 2 parter and realizing it ends on a cliff hanger! At least now you don’t have to wait 3 months to find out what happened!
My favorite part in this finale is Lex and Lionel fight during the tornado. The acting and emotion was amazing, and Lex’s doubt to save his father was like foreshadowing to season 7 episode 16. Which is an amazing episode! Also, the theme song playing during the dance! Amazing!
The Season One finale is absolutely fantastic. The cliffhanger was awesome, and definitely left you wanting more. So many great scenes. Thankyou so much Michael, Tom and Ryan for doing this amazing podcast. I am going to give Tempest🌹🌹🌹
I bought and watched the first season of Smallville in 2005. I watched the entire season in 3 days! The finale cliffhanger had me totally spun 😂. Bought the next two seasons (I think) as they were the only ones out yet. I never watched it on the CW because I couldn’t get “caught up” instead stalking Best Buy for the seasons on DVD.Those same DVDs brought me here after my modem was taken out in a lightning storm… had to watch something on DVD. A couple seasons into it this time I was searching Smallville on RUclips and found this podcast. I am thrilled to go on this journey with you. IMHO Smallville still holds up AND is better than anything that’s on network TV now (and the last five years or so). This finale was crazy good. 3 roses definitely 💯 ❤🎉.
I woke up at 7 this morning took care of the horses and the donkeys and I've been drinking my coffee waiting for this to be posted.... I hope you guys have a great rest of your week thanks for the awesome content as usual... Glad to see Ryan feeling better
Love the podcast gents. Don't know if this was answered already but when Michael asked "Whitney leaving for the Marine corps can they do that.." it is permitted it's called the delayed entry program. If you are a National Guard or US Army Reserves enlisted trainee you can attend basic training during your summer vacation and then go back to finish your senior year (must be 17 or older) after your senior year or GED completion you will then ship out for your advanced individual training which teaches your military job or specialty. The active duty military does not allow that scenario but the delayed entry program for active duty allows you to sign a contract up to one year out until you finish high school (like I did) prior to departure for basic training then immediately to job training and service. I've been active duty for 24 years (retiring this year) I know a little bit of stuff and forget a lot more lol. Keep up the great work!
I started watching the first episode when I started third grade and the show ended the year I graduated high school. Smallville was my life for ten years! My parents would only let us watch one hour of TV a week (I know, they were strict and enforced good grades) so Smallville was always our choice! So glad you guys are doing a podcast. Please don't stop!
Lex's right eye is the one that gets all bloody, and it's his right hand on which he later wears the glove. When Tom said something about Lex losing half his vision that sparked an idea: it represents the dichotomy within Lex, the half of him that's good (or wants to be) and the half that's not so good. Also perhaps foreshadowing a little to what we see later, Lex as President with the white suit in a nightmare vista: his vision of the future is soaked in blood. And I have always loved the way Rosey played that scene, man, your expression in that scene is SO haunting. Cannot wait for part 2 next week, and for what else is to come! Always hold on to Talkville!
THANK YOU GUYS!! I can speak for us all when I say this means the whole world to us. On Eric Johnson, I’ve read that there was frustration on his part for how uninvolved Whitney was and that he may have had the wrong idea of Smallville being a more of an ensemble show than it actually was. I think it was a mutual parting. Eric went on to star in a few seasons of the Flash Gordon reboot and has also popped up on some cool shows, notably was a very integral character as it turned out to Sam Winchester on Supernatural.
Tempest set the standard for future finales. Such a great episode. I watched it when it originally aired and I definitely wasn't mad at the cliffhanger. I was extremely stoked! But that summer was one hell of a slog, probably the longest three months ever. And worth the wait because the season 2 premiere did not disappoint.
During season 4, I starting recruiting friends to watch the show by lending them my box-set of the first season. (I didn't get CW until season 4, so I bought all the seasons on DVD to catch up.) After lending it to one friend, she showed up at my house, at 2 am, frantic, demanding season 2. A day or so later, she did it again, demanding season 3...which I was watching when she came in. So she made me restart it. She loved the show. We talked about how great it was, while we watched all night. It is a great memory of connecting with someone, on a shared love of a piece of culture.
This finale was 10 times better than I remember it being. And I thought Rosenbaum and Glover were GREAT in this episode! Love the podcast! Can’t wait to rewatch season 2 with you guys
Finale time!!!!! So crazy!!! How time flies! So excited to watch this!! Thank you so much for an amazing season one and for letting us be a part of your rewatch journey ❤️ Can’t wait to see what season 2 of the podcast brings. You guys are the best!! ❤️❤️❤️ Happy Talk Ville Wednesday ❤️☄️🌽
Great finale and great Talk Ville episode. At 25:45 to Tom’s point about not shooting a character running away, funny enough I noticed you can see Kristin’s wire for her mic pack when her back is turned. Thanks guys for creating Talk Ville. As a Patreon member, this has been so much fun to rewatch the series with other fans. One thing that I have taken away from this experience is a new appreciation for Tom as a person. I feel like when the series originally aired, I didn’t get a lot of info on who he was. He was kind of a mystery. It’s been through Inside of You and now this season of Talk Ville that I feel I’ve gotten to know him. I appreciate his sense of humor and enjoy hearing his expertise on the show and in the industry. I love the friendship of Michael and Tom and believe that helped make the show so great and now make this podcast so fun. I also have a better understanding how hard Tom worked for so many seasons, but I am so glad he can celebrate now. Thanks to Ryan, Bryce, and Jason and Team Talk Ville that help put this together. Love you all. Can't wait for next season!
I remember when this episode aired I was extremely mad about that cliffhanger. I loved the show so much and then they did that. I was also crazy relieved when the next episode aired because it was on my mind the entire time.
I love this episode so much and I agree with Tom that when Chloe did the fixing Clark up after the wind at prom is just so cute and I think Whitney told Clark to take care of Lana cause he knew he would do it the best since he likes her.
One of the things I have really liked about this podcast is how you talk about Alison Mack. She is obviously a terrible person now but she wasn’t always. You don’t let her terrible actions get in the way of praising the undoubtedly great work she did in the series
I agree. I'm so happy they give her credit where it's due, and honor what she gave to the show. I guess we should not be surprised because Tom and Michael are stand up guys
@@bluesuperman1 Michael especially, because on Theo Vons podcast some stoner dude called in and asked all about it. He, the whole time, talked about what she used to be and didn't get into the details of what she became. It's out there if people want to look it up but it doesn't take away from the person she was before getting involved into a cult.
Jesus dat video was so good. I'm watching Smallville every day on french tv now and it still got da same flava. Your voice is not so different from the French one. Those were the times watching this with my sisters. Buffy, Charmed, Smallville were my thing!!! Posta everywhere on da wall... I still got your doll and the Lana one that my mum bought me when I was 5. Thank you for this. Kiss from Paris.
Yay Ryan's back! I can't even begin to tell you what Smallville means to me and having you and Tom do this yourselves is the bigger treat than the podcast itself. Please do all the seasons. Much love.
Yes! Having Ryan there to represent newbies is awsome. In fact, having some of Michael's newbie friends on occasionally WITH Ryan would be super cool! (fill up the couch, or room for a couple episodes) :)
The finally cliffhanger was great. We didn’t have to wait a year like Ryan thought just 4 months I think. Thanks guys for giving your insight. Started watching this when I was in high school back in 2002 and bought all the dvds as they came out.
I always thought they did the eye injury not because of anything eye-related, but because then half of Lex's face is covered in blood and it becomes a visual reminder of his good/evil dichotomy, especially in the context of "will he, won't he" save Lionel.
I love the show. Own every single season. Was originally going to follow the show along with you, but now I'm half way through season three. Haha. Such a binge worthy show. Haven't seen it in about three years, so it's nice to be back. Seen every episode at least five times. HUGE Superman fanboy and love Tom's version. Edit. Also love that you don't shy away from talking about Allison. All the bad things aside, great actor and awesome character.
Loving this episode. Jonathan Kent was a total bad ass. Lex is great a tying a bow tie. Remy Zero and Lex definitely could be cousins. Annette did a great job in this episode. All of y’all did. I agree that try to hide the spaceship better. Bravo to Kristen. Lionel mane shined in that episode.
I was 17 when this episode aired and it is still the most memorable season finale I've ever seen. It was really difficult waiting for season 2. This podcast is great. Please keep it going.
yooooo I was literally jumping out of my seat when I seen the 'to be continued'. I literally was screaming "and people had to wait! they had to wait OMG" this was good television guys !
That remy zero track is so nostalgic every time that chorus kicks in I feel like that young bright eyed teenager watching smallville for the first time again, great to rewatch season1 again with you all,, roll on season 2 🙌
I am still greatly enjoying this podcast and it's really interesting hearing the behind the scenes stuff. I hope you guys have the wherewithal to make it through all 10 seasons.
Love how Michael shares his feelings of being a part of Smallville...It is so honest, like how we would feel if we were there.....That makes watching this podcast so much more endearing! As for me I stayed away from any podcast since podcasts caught up with everyone...thanks to Mr.Rosenbaum I look forward to Wednesdays now and spend a good hour for it, happily!
Something I want to mention is that people forget how much work it takes to be an actor. I have no clue what goes on behind the scenes on tv shows and movies. These guys give us an inside look and it’s not as easy as it looks. Seriously! Bravo to you guys for shining light onto this profession not just the acting the the crew work
Michael, you WERE brilliant in your acting on Smallville. I really wish we could see you do another dramatic role. You’re gifted at drama. Just wanted you to know.
34:56 You asked how that End of the Season End of the episode cliff hanger had the audience feeling: Well I remember exactly how it left me: I was Kinda pissed for sure because I wanted to know what happened, but at the same time I was in awe of the show. I was writing a lot during this time and I remember thinking to myself "Oh, that's good! That's so very good!" Because it did what it set out to do, left me in suspense for the next part. And it was right then and there that I started what would be a permanent ritual in my life when watching episodic television; I look for who wrote the episode and if I liked the Episode its a good chance that I like the writer and with Smallville specifically there were some writers when I saw their name I got really excited because THEY knew how to use Clark properly.
One of the best TalkVille episode so far! This was a fantastic season finale and I love that it was a slow burn. I remember when I first watched it in 2002 I was in shocked at that ending Lana stucked in the tornado, Clark rushing to save her, Lionel and Lex fight scene 😮🔥... And like Tom & Ryan I was mad that I had to wait months to watch the next episode. That finale definitely left us wanting more and exicted for season 2! I give Tempest 🌹🌹🌹
great episode, i was impressed by the special effects such the explosion, the tornado, it was great. i felt sorry for the Kents when the journalist was after Clark, i also felt bad for Chloe when she finally got her moment with Clark but she couldn't fully enjoy it. it was obvious her reaction when she found out that Whitney was living. love the music when Whitney and Lana danced and of course Remy Zero!
I’m currently doing a rewatch and finished season 1 today. Michael hits the nail on the head about John Glover, he elevates any episode he’s in, the show wouldn’t have been the same had he not been given a bigger role in the following seasons💚
I'm almost crying due to nostalgia. This was the THE finale. It was so huge. Larger than life. This was THE series when i had no clue what series or finales or cliffhangers were. I was so young and Tom Welling made me squeee. I LOVED Clark and Chloe. Remy Zero was the only band I listed to for weeks after than finale and I had no clue who they were prior to that. Clark and Chloe scenes were so effing cute. Now when I watch their scenes in that finale again I notice many Superman nods with dialogues and background music etc
I loved this episode! So great seeing Michael and Tom reminisce about old times. I love seeing these episodes each week and it is something I always look forward to. ❤
That is how I felt watching 24. That was the ultimate cliffhanger show. I was so mad watching this episode back in 2002 and seeing the "To Be Continued" and my daughter (who was 3 at the time) she was so upset because I told her she had to wait a week to see the next episode and kids that age have no concept of time. lol
Just Thank You guy's! I Loved Watching The Episode on Patreon with You guy's Commentary 🎊 Awesome part 1 Amazing Show! Thanks so much for helping so many people during early 2001s I'm glad Tom picked-up on that Solider leaving home moment 🙏🕯️ See you all on Part 2 💙❤️🤘
Tempest🌪️ is my favorite episode from Season 1🌹🌹🌹. I just LOVE it♥️. Thank you so much guys for all you are doing with this wonderful podcast. Tom and Smallville are part of my life♥️♥️! A thousand thanks. And I'm looking forward for the second part next week! Love you.♥️♥️♥️
I've finally caught up with all the podcast episodes, and I can understand Tom's question regarding the eye, but I think it was meant to make Lex look badass. In the comics, there is nothing wrong with his vision, but his hand is radiated with Krypton poisoning for the years of wearing a Kryptonite ring to keep Superman away. @42:09 I also love Tom's insight regarding the behind-the-scenes (boots on the ground), like when the actors are told about when the next season is picked up and how the network doesn't tell the cast, so it doesn't have to pay them. I also learned quite a bit from Tom when he sometimes provided nuggets of information, like the colour purple was associated with wealth in ancient times, and it makes sense why Lex loves it so much. I also agree with Tom, Ryan, and Michael; I was pissed when I saw "to be continued," and thank god I had all the episodes so I could watch them back to back. On a CW show, you only have to wait three months (it ends in June or July and starts back again in September), but it is worse on a streaming service; you have to wait an entire year to the date it aired on the streaming services; there have been times I have completed forgotten about a show because its been so long. I still waiting for the Shadow and Bone TV series which I forgot all about and was only reminded when a friend asked me when season 2 was coming out. I also love hearing Ryan's perspective about the show; he has provided some great insight. Ps As for the effects on Smallville, as a Smallville fan and as a person who has recently watched all seasons back to back, I don't care, nor do I notice or pay attention to it; Some of the effects are so good that if it was done in a TV series today, I wouldn't bat an eyelid like the tornado scene.
Thank you so much Michael, Tom, and Ryan!! I have truly enjoyed the first season of Talkville. Can’t wait for you guys to dive into season two. As a veteran watcher of Smallville, besides Michael’s podcast Inside of you, this podcast is a favorite that I can’t wait to listen to. Love you guys!
This podcast is what I have always wanted. I remember being in highschool watching with my mom and always wanting to be a character on the show because it's the best during my teens and young adult period of time. This podcast episode was awesome. Rose you da man. Tom you da man. Ryan you da man. I can't wait to catch up to the new episodes. Starting from the beginning is awesome, but I really just want to catch up to the live podcast
In regards to the cliffhanger discussion… I didn’t get into smallville until around season 5 or 6 when I bought Season 1 on DVD. But would then wait an entire year until I he next season started on TV before I watched the previous season… just so I could watch the first episode to ease my pain of the cliffhanger 😂 So, technically, I was always a year “off” from everyone else
Holy moley one season. Down already? I hope we don't have to wait like 3 months like a traditional TV season for you guys to do the next season .lol 2:20 oh that sounds awesome. A proper season wrap up is a great idea. Bonus special guest!!! 43:00 I love that Rosenbaum states he wouldn't sleep in it only because he realistically wouldn't fit, not that he wouldn't. This was an amazing episode. The energy between you dudes is so much fun.
It’s so interesting, you guys are getting comfortable with each other, you’re sharing more organically. This is great, great show and great maturing of the show. Congratulations!
I, myself, thought at the end of this season "Yup. I see 8-10 more seasons, if not more". I truly liked the finale. And to be honest, I watched it a second time before I started season 2. And PLEASE! Everyone involved, KEEP TALK VILLE PODCAST going. This is only season 1. It gets better and better as the series progresses. And thank you to EVERYONE involved.
Lex the big brother to Clark. The blooper reel with you and Tom as Bill and Ted are hilarious. Did you ever do your Bill impression in front of Keanu Reeves?
At NYCC the panel spoke about a guy who never saw the last episode of the show. I would love for you guys to find that guy and invite him onto the podcast for the final episode. Have him watch it with you guys in person. That would be some epic stuff.
Man oh man I was trying to finish this season so I can go to bed for my night shift. I stayed up to watch the next episode because of the cliffhanger. I felt everything you guys were saying during this analysis. Such a good episode

It made my little goth heart so happy. I think there was another Stabbing Westward song earlier in the season too. So much great music

Season 2 really nails it.
Nothing wrong with freak of the week
I don’t mind some freak of the week. Some episodes are really great
It's cool to see how chill Michael and Tom are as people and how serious they took there roles in Smallville much respect to two underrated actors.
You GUYS will NEVER know what this PODCAST BRINGS TO MY WEEK!! I COUNT DOWN the days. I honestly feel like a kid at Christmas! THANK YOU! 🤗🤗
Tom with the drop in comment. "You had self esteem though..." 🤣 Y'all crack me up! Best podcast! Michael give yourself credit!
The scale and magnitude of this finale was cinematic level, best part of the week! Thanks guys!
agreed
Great season overall too :D
that haunting look :)
Great acting choices.
spot on
That's what makes season 4-6 interesting with their relationship, so many moments to feel like they love each other in a closer way and yet they're friends
I feel like the show just kept teasing us with that and it was cruel
Chloe really shines in later seasons….I never appreciated her character until I started rewatching it.
@Ninja Nibba I think the fact that through most of season 4 to 6, Chloe knowing Clark's secret, gave Chloe a piece of Clark that Lana didn't have, and I think she liked that deep down.
@@Marvellous132 this is true, it makes alot of sense too
It's always so nice hearing about cast members forming friendships that continue well past the show
That opening scene was epic! My favourite scene of the whole season.
I liked it too. The song was epic!
I second that, they pulled it off well 💯
open and close :)
These guys refuse to miss. My favorite podcast over the last few months
thanks buddy :)
Yes you made it to the finale of season 1. This cliffhanger ending was the best for season as Clark enters the tornado was just intense. Then season 2 dovetailing from season 1 was just perfectly setup.
can't wait to hop into that one
Amazing!
The Uranus award. Good one
The Season One finale is absolutely fantastic. The cliffhanger was awesome, and definitely left you wanting more. So many great scenes. Thankyou so much Michael, Tom and Ryan for doing this amazing podcast. I am going to give Tempest🌹🌹🌹
I laughed WAY too hard at a list of Patrons. Kudos to "Damn Who's That".... that killed me along with "I Made Talkville Say Butts" 🤣
I like it when the patrons name Jorel lands on Tom Welling and he says my "dad" lol
@@thelearner9984 🤣
Glad to see Ryan feeling better
have a great day bud
The opening scene with the Stabbing Westward song was GREAT!
that song was killer there
I started watching the first episode when I started third grade and the show ended the year I graduated high school.
44:15 Michael pantomiming the caller was hilarious.
I CRIED watching the tornado scene, what a great show and now podcast(:
Tempest set the standard for future finales. Such a great episode. I watched it when it originally aired and I definitely wasn't mad at the cliffhanger. I was extremely stoked! But that summer was one hell of a slog, probably the longest three months ever. And worth the wait because the season 2 premiere did not disappoint.
During season 4, I starting recruiting friends to watch the show by lending them my box-set of the first season. (I didn't get CW until season 4, so I bought all the seasons on DVD to catch up.)
After lending it to one friend, she showed up at my house, at 2 am, frantic, demanding season 2.
Happy Talk Ville Wednesday ❤️☄️🌽
Happy Wednesday!! ❤️
After watching this week Talkville, I feel like Tom and Micheal are truly getting into Smallville and enjoying it. Love this podcast.
Lionel is sUch a bloody good character, John Glover played him so well
I love this episode so much and I agree with Tom that when Chloe did the fixing Clark up after the wind at prom is just so cute and I think Whitney told Clark to take care of Lana cause he knew he would do it the best since he likes her.
nice subtle touch
One hella a finale! Thanks for sticking with us for the entire season!! Here’s hoping 9 more finales and seasons to go!!
48:02 In the 2000s, we had only 5 public broadcasting channels in France.
Smallville was during saturday evenings, the family night.
The to be continued back in the day killed me. Having to wait all summer was brutal
haha I can imagine
I love the show. Own every single season. Was originally going to follow the show along with you, but now I'm half way through season three. Haha. Such a binge worthy show. Haven't seen it in about three years, so it's nice to be back.
Seen every episode at least five times.
HUGE Superman fanboy and love Tom's version.
Edit. Also love that you don't shy away from talking about Allison. All the bad things aside, great actor and awesome character.
I agree, despite what Alison became she did an amazing job with the character, a character that is now part of the official DC universe thanks to her.
Lionel mane shined in that episode.
haha the mane!!
Thank you guys for a great season!!!! Can’t wait for season 2!!!! ❤
💯💯💯 totally agree
So glad you got through season 1. Great job and keep it up!!
thanks ❤️
I’m currently doing a rewatch and finished season 1 today. Michael hits the nail on the head about John Glover, he elevates any episode he’s in, the show wouldn’t have been the same had he not been given a bigger role in the following seasons💚
Yay another video!!! Im in pain after a dentist visit but reading the title all i can think is that scene with Lana and the tornado nearby
feel better bud
I'm almost crying due to nostalgia. This was the THE finale. It was so huge. Larger than life. This was THE series when i had no clue what series or finales or cliffhangers were. I was so young and Tom Welling made me squeee. I LOVED Clark and Chloe. Remy Zero was the only band I listed to for weeks after than finale and I had no clue who they were prior to that. Clark and Chloe scenes were so effing cute. Now when I watch their scenes in that finale again I notice many Superman nods with dialogues and background music etc
This is when Lionel Luthor becomes integral with Lex's arc into villain but he will go through resistance along the way in the next season.
cemented
I loved this episode! So great seeing Michael and Tom reminisce about old times. I love seeing these episodes each week and it is something I always look forward to. ❤
Tempest is the best episode of season 1.
hard to debate that
That is how I felt watching 24.
I loved that Clark put the posts into the ground and thought we needed you on our ranch to put in the posts for the fence. Yep, We needed tools!
Ps
As for the effects on Smallville, as a Smallville fan and as a person who has recently watched all seasons back to back, I don't care, nor do I notice or pay attention to it; Some of the effects are so good that if it was done in a TV series today, I wouldn't bat an eyelid like the tornado scene.
❤️❤️
This podcast is what I have always wanted. I remember being in highschool watching with my mom and always wanting to be a character on the show because it's the best during my teens and young adult period of time. This podcast episode was awesome. Rose you da man. Tom you da man. Ryan you da man. I can't wait to catch up to the new episodes. Starting from the beginning is awesome, but I really just want to catch up to the live podcast
Clark Kent the watchful protector of Lana Lang as he promised Whitney in season 1 finale.
43:30 Micheal "I wouldn't fit, it's for a baby" lol
Genuinely laughed out loud when he said that 😂
EVERYONE WAS PISSED. Now you FEEL OUR PAIN! Awesome job you guys, you're good!
How many Red Bulls did Rosenbaum drink before recording? 😆 He is SO hyped for the finale. Enjoyed it!
100% Better. I can tell you two watched the show/episode this time and it makes the podcast so much better
Yes! Wednesday magic in an hour! Been waiting for this one, bros. I still remember it like it was yesterday.
hope it holds up buddy :)
The into makes me so happy on Wednesday morning when I got my coffee and joints ☺️
