That’s just because Porsche (like other German Manufacturers, BMW especially) underrates their power numbers. The thing is though you can only underrate the power numbers 1 time, after the initial underrated power figure anything added on top isn’t also underrated. If they underrate it by 50hp and then you add 35hp then you are still only adding 35hp. It’s not going to feel like 100 because you aren’t adding 100.

I was so hype on the car making 606hp! Damn dude, yes 505 is incredible but you got Deman to rebuild the engine for $35,500 plus all the extras clutch, Dundon etc and you’re making 505!? So, it will only make 600 wheel if you run 100 octane from Deman as well as be super unreliable in limp mode most of the time if you drive it like it’s meant to be driven? I was considering heavily doing this to the GT3 I’m getting soon, but definitely not now. Am I missing something here?
Good points here. Car made 511 to the wheel on the hub dyno. Update* the car now is problem free. No issues whatsoever. I would only do this upgrade only to a manual .2 GT3. I think with about $20k in mods, no cats, and a tune you can get to almost 500 to the wheel on a 4.0. I don’t think this upgrade is a fix for the power, I think what this upgrade addresses is the torque issue and it makes the car feel/sound so different. It just feels like a GT3 on steroids and it is completely different in character to the 4.0. It’s faster than my 4RS which is PDK and ~150 pounds lighter.

I want to do a test back to back with an RS on the same dyno for an actual comparison. I think the substantial differences will be in the mid range which is why my car feels so different. Up top probably not that much.
I agree… perhaps the car just makes less power than we think? But I think the number misses the point on the car. It is 10x crazier than it was before the upgrade. I will get some draggy’s done of it next week to find out how fast it truly is.

35hp probably feels like 100 more horsepower. These gt3 (I got an 18) just run way quicker than other cars with the same horsepower. It's insane
