POLAR Vantage V: THE COMPASS FEATURE EXPLAINED & how to upload your route maps

This video features the 2019 Polar Vantage V update which saw the introduction of Route Guidance for downloaded routes.
Polar introduced a maps tool to its Vantage V watch. This allows you to import your route map to Polar Flow and upload it directly to your watch- using GPS to keep your run on track!
In this video, I briefly explain how to upload a map to your watch and take it for a test run. I also go in-depth to show you how the compass feature works to keep you from going off the route and heading in the right direction in this updated video for 2020.
The Vantage V has built-in GPS that provides accurate speed, distance and altitude measurement for a range of outdoor sports, and allows you to see your route on map in the Flow app and web service after your session.
The watch uses Assisted GPS (A-GPS) to acquire a fast satellite fix. The A-GPS data tells your watch the predicted positions of the GPS satellites and the watch is able to acquire signals from them within seconds, even under difficult signal conditions.
