Soo many videos and they are all great 👍 Absolutely amazing …. as Melotus is 😊 I already have a Desmodus, but my little case will be happy to say „hello“ to another Versio, definitely 😂 But I need some other modules, first. Thanks again!
Thanks for sharing!!!!! and congrats for this amazing dark techno ambient at the end, really love it!!!! nice idea, downloading new firmware in 3, 2, 1
Woah… i got hypnotised and lost myself after you triggered the kick. Haha yes, i was thinking of replacing mine for a beads but i will persevere and stick with it. Thx for inspiration with a beautiful video and soundscape. Cheers
Sorry to hear that, mr. Locke. My first experience wasn't good enough to keep the firmware running. When I discovered this flow thing I bought a dedicated faceplate.
I have the Desmodus V. Never changed the firmware on it, not once. Terrified of wrecking it. I think I’d rather BUY another Versio than run the risk. It probably wouldn’t be this one though…
@@CinematicLaboratoryI did eventually buy a Melotus- never got the best out of it, and found myself considering selling it. However, like you, it took me ages (until this week!) to start playing extreme games with the ‘hold’ function- and now I love it. It’s convinced me to sell the Blukac EP instead; this does what the EP does, only way more so!
Do you have your top 10 modules list anyway? I think I've seen you mention things in your top 10 list before. Love the channel by the way. Your format of no talking, pure sound from the modules you're showcasing with notes over the top is superior to other formats. Thanks for putting in all the effort to edit your videos like that.
No, they just grain what's coming in (whatever you're playing) without affecting the pitch. So if you play in a scale, this scale is 'automatically' retained, as where other modules need to be set to the same 'key' as your performance. Clouds and Beads are always off and it's hard to find the 1:1 setting. Arbhar has a 'notch' to find the right key, which works great. But Melotus is just fire and forget as it blends into your performance. However, if you switch your rootnote or change scale, you're toast.
I love it, use it a lot to create unique samples

This is truly amazing module. Very nice and musical presentation!
Melotus is a top module for me, as well. Nice work on the video!

You'd better sit on it/keep it/cherish it. (or install a different firmware) :)
Me too! I was just thinking I should sell my Beads and get a Melotus instead...

The Melotus is one of my go to effect modules. There's really nothing else like it out there.
It's awesome and brutal. Absolutely super firmware/module.
I had one and sold it. I am sad. I never even looked at the flow input. But also I really wish i still had two Versio modules.

I changed firmwares so many times there's absolutely no risk. But you will miss the Desmodus.
@@CinematicLaboratory even many times a day, no worries :))))

@@CinematicLaboratory + 500 modules in your collection! just reading it.... amazing content :)
Hi! when you say there's no pitch shifting, do you mean the grains are quantized as well? thanks!
