Part of the problem is that when cheating is relatively common, you start to question almost every death and that detracts just as much fun from the game as the actual cheaters.
that's what I'm going through rn, not to mention the horrible skill disparity matchmaking makes it worse
The reality is because CS has many cheaters, every person become a supect even if they aren`t cheaters.. if they are on a good day = may be a cheat and this gives force to the impression that the game is full of cheaters.
If u want to know the reason why are you all seeing so much hackers in CS its the fact that CS is used almost like a tutorial how to create a cheat.
Maybe I did not phrase that correctly but what im trying to say is when u want to program ur own cheat, the first game you practice doing it is on CS or Assault Cube actually because of all the resources u can find online.
I recently got into gamehacking myself (programming the cheats not actually playin with cheats) and I was shocked when I discovered that CS is used as an tutorial game how to start creating your own hacks.
Anticheat definetly sucks.

Sure, with the knowledge that cheaters do exist many people are seeing cheaters everywhere, but not one in a year? I faced a 100% cheater 2 days ago. I just opened leetify and looked at my games I played in june and I have 8 games marked as "ban" and that's only detected ones.
That is an absolute Chad move by that team for kicking the cheater. Seriously, I know at that elo especially how much a win matters but they said “nah, we don’t want or need a win like that”.

The aim and connecting is off.. One game i’m putting up 30 kills and connecting everything and second game Im aiming at his head and firing for 2-3 seconds before they do and i die and my shots don’t connect… It’s all over the place

The issue for me now is I just dont know when someone IS cheating and when someone IS NOT cheating because I feel like the anticheat is nonexistent.
Also dont forget all the smurfs with several accounts now has to level all 3 or more up from nothing as everone was reset. honestly i quit cs2. mine was jittrery and laggy on the netcode end. Lol i doewnloaded valorant for first time after they perma banned csgo before cs2 was ready. the hit reg and gunplay is super smooth (the way cs2 is when it works). cs2 is assuredly valorant without abilitys.

Not your fault. Hacks are getting better good aimbot can mimic mouse movement. Unless the hacker goes blatant. Sad to say but I use hack too for 5 years and never got ban cause I only use wallhack. It's truth that VAC is a trash anticheat. However I don't use hack on faceit.

The only i think to overcome cheaters. Is to have a system where somebody try something in command or an cheat app. Their character will glow. This way they will know. Make a software system where anything changes there will be a backup system to notice that this players has done something.
Most cheats nowadays are overlays, third party apps. Not actually modifying the game

I'm really glad they spent a decade just to pull an overwatch 2. The anti cheat is just as dogshit, and premier has made it worse. I hit 14k the other day and it's a coin toss on if someone drops 60 kills in your match. VAC has been a joke for years.

cheater strike 2, I played aproximately 20 hours cs go because there were shit ton amount of cheaters. They were not even trying to hide it. I was hoping that maybe cs2 would have a better anti cheat but nope. seems like I will keep ignoring this game too.

they removed our workshop maps or the ability to play gamemodes to stop cheaters and we still have them. which is annoying.

The reason cs is, "easier" than valorant is because cs is skill based and valorant is luck based. Not saying it doesnt take skill to be good at both, but valorant has random spray patterns so even if your number 1 your gun doesnt necessarily hit the target when you shoot it. In cs even while moving you can compensate and learn the pattern so a player who is good at aiming and takes the time to learn will be able to hit the target reguardlss of circumstance. In valorant its literally about who gets the drop on who, reaction time, and map knowledge. Where as in cs its about all that but you can also learn to aim so you can compensate for random variables with skill.
There is waaay too many cheaters in cs, but it's in all multiplayer games, it's so sad. People have so low skills that they have to cheat >_

we played 3 games in a row yesterday with cheaters, one guy wasn't blatant but pretty sus, second guy was obviously walling with aimbot set to the headbone, and then adjusted it to the chest when we called him out (after 20 headshots) and then 3rd game we had a dude on our team walling.
What does Valorant have that Cs2 doesnt? An actual anticheat that works. On top of a pretty great game.
Played Cs before and does it suck the joy out of the game to have one of these cheaters on any game.
there's not a cheater in every game lmao, you're just buns and think you're actually nice to the point where you can't contemplate how you're dying. However cs does desperately need a kernel level anticheat so people can be at ease for the most part
So i got valorant AFTER cs2 came out totally broken and valve basically vac banned csgo(cant play comp anymore). Since they totally botched a simple reskin that took them10 years. i have latency, jittery, poor gameplay 70% of matches seems server based. So they basically forced me to get valorant, the abilitys that teleport are the only ones that should have never existed the rest is just smokes, walls and drones (basically like squad but faster) but every time i die or get a kill in valorant it feels deserved unlike csgo and assuredly unlike cs2. If riot made a game with valorants code but without abiltys more grounded typpe game they would demolish csgo.
