For you guys who don't understand the beginning. Les twins are trying to show you how you can dance to different beats that most of you guys don't hear. Most of you guys dance to one beat the whole song, they dance to all the beats. That's why they are one of the greatest dancers of all time.
This is probably one of the best performances that the les twins pulled off. Most of this performance is all musicality which they try to show u in all of there performances or workshops but not everybody has amazing musicality which is a huge reason why a lot of ppl dont get amazed by a lot of their dance moves. But my ears can hear all the beats and sounds they hear which is why i love the les twins. But take notice all of their moves regardless if its Larry or Laurent they have musicality in their moves. U just have to listen to all the noises u slightly hear.
At first glance i thought the performance was rather weak due to the high standards i hold them to but after watching again i realized how wrong i was. The musicality and the amount of new moves is amazing they're cleaner than ever. They managed to capture all the subtleties of the songs which is even more evident in a front view. Loving les twins in 2016 :3
Cheese Cheddar Took me a few replays to truly appreciate it too, but once you catch the subtle genius (a far cry from their harder hitting, high energy ones), you can't unsee it. Props to the twins for bring us on a whole other level.

Couldn't agree more and the funny thing is ..I know that I sit and watch their videos back to back in my freetime (all the time 😹) no matter how many times I watched them I could never get tired and this is just the beginning of break 😹 so this is gonna be replayed to the max
Larry tried so many new things here, it was incredible. Their song choices and dancing are becoming more experimental imo, and I honestly I prefer it that way since it gives them the freedom to experiment. :)
+Les Lavy Me too, it's just sadly how the world works where you can't satisfy everyone. There's always gonna be someone complaining about not doing their old stuff, but soon as they do haters go on the "they're repetitive" bandwagon. I'm just glad Larry's experimenting haha

The slightest of movements for the them is spectacular this is one of the slower paced performances they've had but it still was powerful! They are definitely saving energy for the workshop& kod battle so I really appreciate this performance, true artists
It was my first time seeing them live, too. The energy was insane and the crowd was absolutely into it, and them. I'm surprised by all the negativity I'm seeing in the comments today but people are entitled to their opinions. I guess unless you were there you wouldn't know how cool it was to experience live and that they crowd was hyped the whole way through their performance.

Well it would be in my top 100 cuz I can't pick 😹😩 I just Love his style and every freestyle he does just one ups the other.. But my top three is "Les twins At I am Phresh" "Les twins cypher| Smart mark workshop" and "Larry's ICU choreography" ☺️👌🏽

A lot of people disagree about how well it was... I just... I LOVE it ! They're now adults, their dance is more mature, more thoughtful, more emotional. OMFG, always so so good, they're telling stories guys, it is so dope. They are so good, they dance like nobody else, look at their moves, how difficult it is, look how much they are in sync with the music, look how much they feel the music, every beats, every moves they do are perfect for that moment of the music !
I 100% agree. In some ways I feel like they grew up a little in this performance. People can't keep expecting them to constantly do the same thing and then complain when they don't. They are growing, and if you're a true fan of their talent, you'll go through the growing process with them.
Seems to me they're damned if they do and damned if they don't. People just need to appreciate what they chose to share and understand this is where they are right now. I personally loved it!

idk if its about KOD, I think it's because they were battling, cyphering, and performing. I've done it before at wod where I was cyphering then had to go battle then I had to hurry and hop on stage to perform then hurry back and battle some more. I doubt they give 50% for a performance just to save energy for a battle, they always give their all in everything they do, if they were tired they were tired. They will have time to chill, the first day of Kod is meet and greet and I'm pretty Their energy will definitely be up in the battles being alongside their boys boobou and waydi

I think ppl are missing the point of this performance & video and that it's to enjoy & have fun. For me, chill wasn't a bad thing at all. For me, the pace was slower, more laid back and yeah chill. Some of the best things I've appreciated from them has been when they danced to slower music.

To be fair I was expecting this type of performance because the KODs are in a few days so they probably didn't want to waste too much energy and do something too crazy, to run the risk of injuring themselves.
+temmmmiiiii Yet Laurent did several variations of his death drop LOL but I agree, I also think they're going experimental with their performances both dancing and song choice wise
If anyone else performed this it would be fire but the bar is sooo ridiculously high for the twins it takes a darn near magic show for them to wow people. We want to see the magic they have shown in the pass. This was dance good but not twin great.
Thankx for sharing..not feeling this performance though. For me lacking their usual vibrance and energy. Don't get me wrong I'm a great admirer of theirs and, in my opinion, getting better and better, Laurent in particular has been a delight to watch. The suggestion that they are tired following workshops and are retaining energy for upcoming KOD finals makes sense. This might explain music choice too, perhaps
I agree that they may be tired and are conserving energy in preparation for KOD because they're representing their country, in addition to the grand prize being $100,000. They'd be foolish not to prioritize their events but another aspect is Laurent's physical health. His back is a problem but the more acute issue is his knee. I think they've had to modify their choreography to prolong the inevitable, which is surgery.
I agree 100% ,their other WOD performances were something special,literally every single move was a new one,but this year,eh,let's hopw for the better (the songs weren't great either)
keep in mind I love the twins. I think they are great! but I feel as if they are not doing as well as they can. I feel like this performance was thrown together at the last minute. I know they are real busy these days but this should have been better. I always love watching them dance but this performance wasn't any where near the top 20 of theirs. it seems like they don't practice or comes up with new material anymore. maybe being so busy isn't the best thing. love you twins!!!
Lisa Chappell As a dancer: All dancers get repetitive, it's just that they're viewed more than others.. Some people also love 'hard beats', but musicality is #1 in my book & they were awesome at it.

To be fair I was expecting this type of performance because the KODs are in a few days so they probably didn't want to waste too much energy and do something too crazy, to run the risk of injuring themselves.

If anyone else performed this it would be fire but the bar is sooo ridiculously high for the twins it takes a darn near magic show for them to wow people. We want to see the magic they have shown in the pass. This was dance good but not twin great.

Thankx for sharing..not feeling this performance though. For me lacking their usual vibrance and energy. Don't get me wrong I'm a great admirer of theirs and, in my opinion, getting better and better, Laurent in particular has been a delight to watch. The suggestion that they are tired following workshops and are retaining energy for upcoming KOD finals makes sense. This might explain music choice too, perhaps
I agree that they may be tired and are conserving energy in preparation for KOD because they're representing their country, in addition to the grand prize being $100,000. They'd be foolish not to prioritize their events but another aspect is Laurent's physical health. His back is a problem but the more acute issue is his knee. I think they've had to modify their choreography to prolong the inevitable, which is surgery.
They are just saving their energy for kod

I agree 100% ,their other WOD performances were something special,literally every single move was a new one,but this year,eh,let's hopw for the better (the songs weren't great either)

keep in mind I love the twins. I think they are great! but I feel as if they are not doing as well as they can. I feel like this performance was thrown together at the last minute. I know they are real busy these days but this should have been better. I always love watching them dance but this performance wasn't any where near the top 20 of theirs. it seems like they don't practice or comes up with new material anymore. maybe being so busy isn't the best thing. love you twins!!!
Lisa Chappell As a dancer: All dancers get repetitive, it's just that they're viewed more than others.. Some people also love 'hard beats', but musicality is #1 in my book & they were awesome at it.
